My favourite film of 2016 Zootropolis/Zootopia
Posted 9 years agoMonday May 16th I went to Dundrum in Dublin to see Zootropolis after 2 months of its release in Ireland. When the film started I was kinda anxious to just get the film over with so I can get back to my sister’s house to make supper as I don’t normally allow myself to relax and lose myself in animated or family movies in general. Half way through the film I started to get emotionally infested in the film and I started to relax and enjoy the film, there was a scene that made me really feel for the main 2 characters and as soon as the end credits started and the song ‘Try everything’ by ‘Shakira’ played tears went down my face as I felt a sense of joy that I have repressed for far too long!
What about to say next is a bit of a spoiler so if you haven’t seen this film go out and see this film now as you owe yourself that much.
There’s was a scene where the fox Nick Wilde revealed to Judy Hopps that he had dreams when he was a kid but were crushed as he was told he could never be anything more than what he is and that really hit a sensitive note towards me as that’s me in a nut shell. Afraid to let anyone know that negative comments get to me so I never allow myself to love cartoons fully and pursue any dreams towards it. Anyway he started off being kind of unlikable character tearing down Judy’s dreams until he stood up for her against her superiors and then I loved the character as much as Judy Hopps who won me immediately after the movie’s title as I admired her strength and will power to reach her goals no matter what anyone says about her.
There’s a lot of tension and doubt towards her that makes you almost believe she won’t succeed but as she progresses and over comes these obstacles you really believe in her and route for her all the way.
Even some of the unlikable characters like Nick at the start as I said become likable as she proves them all wrong and shows that anyone can be what to be want to be if they just believe in it. She is also an incredibly smart and cute character.
As for the main song of the movie ‘Try everything’ by ‘Shakira’ I utterly LOVE IT! It captures the feel of the movies moral about never giving up on your dreams no matter how many times life gets you down. When it played at the start of the film it was a really great feel good song but when the film was over and the end credits started I had the most overwhelming sense of joy I’ve haven’t had in years and the most emotional song I’ve ever heard in years since this new millennium started. NO I’M SERIOUS! I’m always listen to songs from the 80’s and 90’s constantly reminding me when I allowed myself to love and enjoy cartoons till I got older and started doubting myslef. I also love Shakira’s Gazelle design as it’s the perfect anthro female animal design that I love to draw. Short curves that’s not overall sexualized for an animal, small nose, eyes, brilliant design and beautifully animated. I’ve really started to become a fan of hers after seeing this film. When you hear the song you feel the main stars were not handed there happy ending. THEY EARNED IT!
I’d never thought I’d love an animated film like this ever again as I try to repress my love for cartoons as I felt I’m just embarrassing myself. You can imagine how frustrating that can be holding in those feelings and trying to be some macho man to fit in, especially as a grown man. The last time I kind of felt for a movie like this was ‘Ratatollie’ in 2007 and Ice Age 3. My favourite artist was and still is Michael Jackson and when he died and I allowed myself to love that movie and not allow my anger and grief to ruin The 3rd Ice Age movie. I mean come on it had dinosaurs, Scratte and Bucky.
If Disney where aiming to make the greatest anthropomorphic animated movie of all time then I can confirm that they have succeeded and for that I thank them. This film has seriously restored my faith in cartoons.
It may seem biased to just love this because all the characters are animals but I don’t care. This film allowed me to just let go for that moment and remember what it was like to just love cartoons again
Now go and see this film and if you have already please leave a comment as I would love to talk to you about this film as I’m now a fan of this film.
Now if you excuse me I have to work on some fandom of 'Zootroplis/Zootopia.

Les Kangoo character names please.
Posted 9 years agoCan anyone tell me the name of the Kangoos wise mentor, Tiffany's dog and other characters that they associate themselves with like the queen or the presdient and his wife as I need it for a project. Thanks :)
I'm so sleepy and weak :(
Posted 9 years agoEvery since this year started I feel unmotivated to do anything? Well I still walk my sisters dog, exercise and draw but I seem unfocused.
I get easily distracted by the internet and games that I don't feel satisfied with my day.
Maybe it's the fact I set my standards too high for 2016 as I feel 6 is my lucky number as 1996 had a great Summer and expectations and 2006 gave me You Tube, friends who relate to me and brought my love for cartoons back (well nearly).
I never can go to sleep early as with everyone else in my house hold.
I could just turn off the electronics at 21:00/9pm but it's so much fun to go online I can't help it (not to mention I can watch my won shows in peace on a console or laptop without fear of judgement).
I think I'm unrelated as I don't watch films or tv shows.
I feel bad relaxing as everyone else around me is constantly active so I can't settle down.
I don't even feel excited for 'Zootopia' coming out (or Zootropolis over herein Ireland) as I feel I don't deserve it (though I saw Deadpool and it was brill).
I just don't know what to do to get this sleeplessness off me.

Flashman 30th anniversary and Kombact Pack 2 out today.
Posted 9 years agoI know 2 subjects that don't match but there on the same day so I'd thought I'd mention it.
Today the Sentai series 'Choushinsei Flashman' (Super Nova Flashman) is 30 years old. The main reason I point this out is a friend of mines nick name is Flash and he was born in 1986 so it's a funny consistence.
Also Kombat Pack 2 for Mortal Kombat x is out including Quadborg, Bo Rai Chao, horror movie icon Leather Face and sci legend a Xenomorph from Alien.
Be sure to join me on Playstation Network so we could have games. My name is CELTICBORUEIRE which is my Xbox name as well.
Hope this will bring up a discussion.

SPLATTERHOUSE REVIEW
Posted 10 years agoSince this is the Halloween season I thought to I’d give you a review of the remake of the 1988 cult video game classic that came out 5 years ago on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 SPLATTERHOUSE.
The franchise was inspired by horror classics from the 70’s and 80’s such ‘Night of the Living Dead, The Deadly Spawn, Evil Dead, Poltergeist and of course Friday the 13th as the main characters mask looks an awful lot like Jason Voorhees in the 1st game though in this game he is more jacked up like the hulk. I wasn’t a fan of this design choice when I saw the back of the case in 2011 but the way the game play is and the way Rick kills enemy’s makes you understand why they went with this design.
Let’s begin with the story. It’s a twisted love story about Rick Taylor and his girlfriend Jennifer Willis who visits the mansion of Dr Henry West who is a parapsychologist and Jenny wants to write a school report about him (you’d think they’d find it suspicious that the doctor who studies the paranormal wanted to see them in a dark scary forest in the middle of the night but whatever plot convenience). Soon after they enter the mansion they soon discovery that the doctor has other plans other than a school report as Jennifer has been abducted by monsters and Rick is left for dead in a pool in his own blood, then comes the Terror Mask which offers his assistance if Rick puts him on and is willing to help Rick as long as Rick helps the mask in return.
At this point the game starts and you’re already introduced to the berserk mode at which point you’ll be invincible and anything around you is as the Terror Mask would say ‘FUCKED’ as he splashes there blood all over the screen though all that blood on screen is really distracting at times!
Speaking of the Terror Mask I’d like to point out that the voice actor is ‘Jim Cummings’ one of the most famous cartoon voice actors in America who has done roles such as ‘Darkwing Duck, Don Karnage (yea furry fans go nuts), Razoul from Disney’s Aladdin, Shreks Captain of the guards, Winnie the Pooh and Tiger too, the Ammunition gun shop owner in GTA 5 ect. He delivers a very stellar performance and show cases a more graphic and darker side to himself as he drops plenty of f-bombs, sadistic speech of how he loves his enemies mutilated and some sexual slander towards Rick’s girlfriend just to get on his nerve (reminds me of an ex friend of mine). Guess Jim’s releasing all the tension that builds up from working with the likes of Disney and such though at the time his kiddy side shows which kinda ruins the evil tone of the game. Guess he was chosen for a more comedic role as the Terror Mask where’s the text in the original games suggest that the Mask is more serious than funny (more on that later). The voice acting in general is excellent which really brings you into this games gory world.
Game play wise is pretty solid though it does explain game mechanics poorly so you’ll have to watch online playthroughs to get a head start on the game. There are also glitches, sounds issues, awkward platforming sections, camera angles and of course LOADING TIMES!!! Yes if you die during this game you’ll be stuck with a long 40 second loading screen with you just looking at in game animations of the monsters as you impatiently wait to get back into action and believe me with the bullshit moments that occur in this game you’ll be pretty sick of them after a while. This should not hinder your enjoyment though as once you understand the controls and get grips with the mechanics it becomes a solid action game that really grips you till the end.
Combat consists of light punch, heavy punch, jump grab, role, block, sprit, mask move modifiers which are enhanced versions of your normal attacks when you press the corresponding attack button and Left trigger for Xbox and L2 for Playstion and then there’s berserk mode for when you have 3 pints of blood in your blood meter or higher you can transform into more monstrous version of yourself which makes you invincible and will paint the walls red with your enemies BLOOD! Remember I mentioned this earlier about you being in berserk mode at the start well this is what that part was getting you ready for but unlike the 1st time you have a limited time to use it and when the blood meter reaches zero Rick will revert back to normal so you better kill the harder enemies on screen quickly or you’re in trouble. You can also use the blood meter to replenish your health by pressing Right Trigger and B on the Xbox 360 pad or L2 and circle together on the Playstation 3 pad. You fill the blood meter by just beating the holy hell out of your enemies, killing them and squishing bore worms you find in jars, boxes ect. The more blood in your blood bank the better off you’ll be. Another way to build up your blood meter is the Splatter kills. You’ll notice your enemies will have a green aura around them when they’re half dead and a glowing red aura indicating there nearly dead at which point you should press the grab button and you enter a quick time event where the background goes black and Rick will mutilate and tear apart his enemies in the most gruesome and yet satisfying way (I know that sounds cruel but in this game you build evil intentions when you die so many times). Also when you kill the tentacle headed monsters with the club arms during a Spaltter kill they sound like there saying ‘WOH OH’ and I think that’s a funny of saying ‘There fucked’ (fucks a popular word to say in this game BTW).
The music consists of groups such as ‘Lamb of God, Five Finger Death Punch, The Accused and my favourite ‘ASG’ who sing the end theme ‘Dream World’ and it really suits this games grim and violent atmosphere though when the game shifts into 2D platforming sections the music changes to 80’s style horror as a throwback to the 1st 2 Splatterhouse games (again more on that later)
The graphics are great with grim lighting effects and gruesome designs such as the blood soaked halls of the ‘Meat Factory’ to the creepy surroundings of the ‘Scream Park’ to the evil looking monsters you face. The human characters have a more exaggerated look to their designs like a cartoon unlike the digitized images in the 3rd game which made me believe that Namco would go for a more realistic look to the characters to suit the horror atmosphere of the game but in its own defence it creates a nice comic book look that makes the gory nature of this game more unique though at times the animation can be a bit choppy and some characters are too shiny and that can get very distracting.
The story is an excellent retelling of the 1st games story which gives more depth to the plot than the original. Elements like who are Rick and Jenny, who is Dr West, where the Terror Mask came from and who are the corrupted and other facts are explained through the games in game story and the journal of Dr Henry West where you unlock a page every 5 percent of the game you complete.
Another side quest is unlocking photo’s of Ricks girlfriend that are scattered throughout the game which as the playthroughs on You Tube say are too hot for You Tube as you often get revealing and nude shots of Ricks girl.
Even when you finish the main story you get added features such as the survival mode and as an added bonus for fans of the series the original 3 games that started it all bar Wampaku (‘naughty’ in Japanese) Graffiti which is a shame because as it was only on the Famicon/Nintendo in Japan and that would have been all 5 Splatterhouse games in one but I won’t lose sleep over it.
I actually played the 2nd game on the Mega Drive (or Genesis in America) 23 years ago from a video store called ‘Hurdy Gurdys’ which rented Mega Drive consoles at the time. Mortal Kombat was in the media in 1993 but this was the 1st time I saw blood in a console game (1st time I saw blood in a game was the arcade version of Golden Axe in 1989).
This game not only reunited me with the 1st graphic game I’ve ever played but also introduced me to the original arcade game from 1988 (only on the Turbo Graphics 16 game before hand) and the 3rd game which never came out in Europe (I’m Irish you see). That alone made purchase of this game essential for me and believe me even though these are old games and tame compared today’s games including the remake there still very gruesome and not for kids.
Gameplay for the 1st 2 games consist of 2D platform beat em up action as you fight your way through waves of gruesome monsters to save your characters girlfriend Jennifer. Remember when I said this game can have bullshit moments well the original games have worse ones from quirky jumps, awkwardly placed enemies and the fact the game brings you to the back to the start of the stage if you lose all your lives.
The 3rd game is no different for even though it plays more like Final Fight and Streets of Rage the enemies can often kill you with 2 hits and the fact you’re on a timer to determine what ending you get adds to the frustration and if you can’t do the spin kick or guts burst in monster Rick form (the origin of berserk mode) you’ll never finish this game. It would help if the game told you the moves as there very hard to find online though the spin kick as normal Rick is back forward attack and I think the guts burst as monster Rick is forward back forward attack but I’m not sure.
However this should not discourage you from purchasing this game especially if you’re a fan of this franchise or a fan of 70’s and 80’s horror movies, death metal, gore or an action fan altogether.
Final verdict, this is an excellent action game and fine tribute to Splatterhouse franchise with a few glaring issues but not big enough to prevent you from purchasing this game. Buy it because you’ll never get a better deal or another new Splatterhouse game any time soon.
Also don’t judge this game on what IGN said as obviously they only played this for 2 hours and gave up on it before getting the grips with the controls and mechanics.
If you want to hear the video that inspired me to get this watch ‘Happy Video Games Nerd’ review the 1st 3 games, a comparison to the Turbo graphics and arcade version of Splatterhouse and the remake which I’ve review on his page ‘Stopskeletons from fighting’

PS4 or Xbox one?
Posted 10 years agoI’m ready for a new console for my birthday so I can get ‘Batman Arkham Knight’ but I’m kind of stuck which to choose.
If I get an Xbox One I’ll get Killer Instinct, Skype, do 2 things at once, rip songs into the Xbox, and transfer my file to Xbox 360 into that one so I can continue playing GTA 5.
On the other hand if I get a PS4 I can join my friends who jumped towards the PS4 online as well as get free games for subscribing to the Playstation network, guaranteed exclusives such as Guilty Gear, Blaze Blu, Street Fighter 5 and the big one for me ‘Shenmue 3’ as well as exclusive DLC’s like the Adam West Batman suit in Batman Arkham Knight and the Scarecrow.
I started doubting the Xbox One when I found out Street Fighter 5 will only be on PS4 (and PC) and it made me think of the exclusives the PS3 had in the past like ‘Back to the Future, Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill 1, Metal Gear Solid 4 ect but after seeing E3 I think I would miss a lot if I didn’t get a PS4 next.
The PS 4 dominates in Japan but in April Xbox outsold Sony in the US.
What do you think?

Posted 11 years agoI'll be busy making my Christmas picture for 2014 as well as a couple of comics for my brothers Basketball as well as a new Years picture for 2015. I might do 2 more Christmas pictures that I've put aside if I have time.
I'm really falling behind my original characters and there logos so next year I really need to get that done. This year has not been good for art.
I really wanted to do anniversary pictures of Knuckles the Echidna, Transformers and The Lion King but I never did them as I didn't make time.
If you want to see my progress go to my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/brian.kennedy.54379 as I will show steps of how this is going.
You can also see my original work if you'd like.
Thanks for understanding.

Jon Talbain and I were victorious
Posted 11 years agoTo celebrate my birthday weekend from August 29th to 31st I went to Navan to meet my sister and then went to Galway on Sunday to compete in a beat em up/fighting game tournament and one of the games was ‘Darkstalkers Resurrection’ (we played Darkstalkers 3).
Street Fighter 3 and 4 where there as well but I got knocked out early as Street Fighter is the most popular fighting game in the world and more people in Ireland play that more than Darkstalkers.
My character of choice was obviously by the title of this journal Jon Talbain (or Gallon in the Japanese version).
My strategy was ‘attack, attack, ATTACK and don’t give them room to breathe!
My 1st opponent was then host of the tournament who beat me in the Ultra Street Fighter 4 tournament. I got redemption by not only beating him but beating his chosen character Morrigan who always prevents Jon Talbain from being in other Capcom games (including Marvel vs Capcom 3).
The 2nd match I didn't realize it was a tournament match as I had my mind set on a casual match so I played Victor the Frankenstein by accident and made the best against a Sasquatch player. In the end I won.
I got beaten in my 3rd match by a Demitri (the Vampire) player but I would get a 2nd chance as I faced my friend Underground Outlaw (who loves to kill Amaterasu in Marvel vs Capcom 3) who was beaten but redeemed himself by beating the one who beat him so we fought to see who would get into the finals.
He picked Bishamon and I got concerned when he pinned me down by constantly dashing towards me and slashing away but as soon as I got my bearings I continued my strategy and beat him. In round 2 he changed to Demitri (his fave is Anakaris but Anakaris is a bad mix up against Jon Talbain) and I knocked him out of the tournament to get into the finals at which point I looked at the screen and said ‘Good dog Talbain good dog.
Now I was facing the one who beat me in what I like to call ‘The Twilight match up’ referencing the war between Vampires and Werewolf’s in the movie series ‘Twilight’.
Since I was beaten before I have to win 4 matches to win this while my opponent won 2 matches sothe pressure was on me.
I stuck to my same strategy, dash, attack, chain combo, pounce, jump, beast cannon in different directions, jump back and Dragon cannon. I won the 1st 2 matches but he won the 3rd so I had to be more aggressive than before. He did catch me off with Demitri’s 2 EX moves ‘Midnight Pleasure’ and ‘Midnight bliss’ (where Jon Talbain was turned into a woman). Still I kept my cool and continued my strategy (as well as walking over and throwing him) and beat him in the 3rd match which led to the final match to decide who will win. I stuck to the same strategy as always but I noticed my health was flashing in the last round and I was losing so I corned him and did jumping attacks out of desperation as I was too jumpy to stick to the strategy I was doing before hand and after a few 3 hit chains, pounces and a follow up attacks all I heard was ‘KO’ and Jon Talbain and myself where victorious! We shook hands, I got €10 and played ‘Guilty Gear XX Accent core’. I’m the best Darkstalkers player in this tournament group, the man I faced in the final is 2nd and Underground Outlaw (who killed Ammy) is 3rd.
I didn't expect to win as I hadn't practiced recently and I was knocked out of both Street Fighter tournaments but that shows good things come to those who wait. There was only 6 or 8 competitors in this tournament compared to Street Fighter 3 & 4 but the fact I won with Jon Talbain, one of the few anthropomorphic characters in fighting games helped build confidence and an identity for myself that CELTICBORUEIRE (my X-box live name) represents antro animal characters and this tournament showed why Jon Talbain should be in another Capcom games...especially the Marvel vs Capcom series. Sadly because of Disney that might not ever happen but you never know which is kind of like Road Rovers fans wanting that cartoon to come back and like Talbain were still waiting. Maybe if Road Rovers was in a cross over with a popular brand people would recognize them and they might get popular, same with Jon Talbain.
Still aside from winning and boosting my own moral I showed that furry characters aren’t softies and that they belong in the fighting game community. If there was ever a ‘Blaze Blue’ tournament, I might play there werewolf ‘Valkenhayn R. Hellsing.
All in all my birthday weekend was memorable so I’ll finish by saying by saying ‘Thanks for reading and POWER TO THE FURRIES’.

Happy New Year 2014.
Posted 11 years agoI hope you enjoyed Christmas and that the New Year brings good fortunes for the year.
Did you enjoy Christmas? I got 2 X-box 360 games. Batman Arkham Origins & GTA 5 (my X-box name is CELTICBORUEIRE if you’d like to join me), a jacket, sweets to share with my mother and my newest Christmas picture on a frame (I did the last 4 as frames as well)
I saw movies like ‘Rise of the Guardians. I utterly adored that film and I hope Dreamworks release a sequel as it made it extra special. I got to know all the Guardians better like the main star Jack Forst but the character that attracted me to the film the most was ‘The Easter Bunny’ (voiced by Hugh Jackman ) who was absolutely brilliant and I can’t get enough of the character.
I also saw ‘Karate Kid 2010’ and it was a much better and well put together film than the original. Jackie Chan didn’t look silly like a lot of US film’s he’s been in and I’m glad the director had the decency to make this film AS authentic to Chinese culture as possible.
Other films like ‘Rio’ and ‘Authors Christmas’ which in my opinion where disappointments so we won’t get into them.
I also saw ‘Kung Fu Panda’s Christmas’ and ‘Ice Ages’ Christmas specials and they where fun Christmas shorts. I loved Prancer in Ice Age so I’m going to add him to my next Christmas picture.
I saw more shorts courtesy of ‘NETFLIX’ as I’m an official member of this online community as I got an 02 pre payed card that allows me to show online and abroad.
My new year’s resolutions include trying to be more flexible with my time, to try to get to bed around 22:30/10:30 and try to be more organized especially with my work.
Movies I look forward to are ‘Peabody and Sherman’ as I love dogs and Robert Downey Jnr does a brilliant job as the ingenious dog from Rocky and Bull Winkle.
I’m also looking for to ‘Spectacular Spider-man’ do and will it improve on some of the mistakes on the 1st (the costume for Spidey is a lot better)!
One of the most eagerly awaited films that I want to see is ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ which is a forgotten Marvel comic coming to cinema. I mainly got into it through ‘Rocket Raccoon’ and I hope ‘Bradley Cooper’ (Templeton Peck in A-Team 2010) does him justice and this film will be memorable. Also I am aware that Dave Batista (who is returning to the WWE this year) will be Trax the destroyer.
I also want to see the 3rd and last Hobbit film (spoiler alert) as the 2nd film even though it featured the amazing dragon Smaug (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch from ‘Sherlock’) ended prematurely so I’m egger to see how this film ends. Sorry Dwarf fans, but I align myself with dragon’s any day.
That’s all I’d say. I’d love to hear what you got up for Christmas and your hopes for the New Year.

Injustice: Gods among us
Posted 12 years agoMy 1st video game review that I’ve ever done online so here goes.
Created by NetherRealms, the people behind the award winning Mortal Kombat 2011 game (or Mortal Kombat 9 to some people) have once again gotten together to create the latest game consisting of DC Super heroes and villains such as Superman, Batman, The Green Lantern, WONDER WOAMAAAMM (sorry I had to do that), The Joker, Lex Luther and a host of other characters that you’ll recognise or in my case with Doomsday and Aries won’t recognise.
I was a bit iffy on this game as I played Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe which plays similar to this and I wasn’t that impressed gameplay wise. I had Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance 2003 before hand but I never got into it. Around January 2011 I sold the game convinced that I was done with the franchise mainly playing Street Fighter, Tekken, Soul Calibur ect and only playing the original trilogy for Nostalgia.
Thankfully that’s not the case for this game as NetherRelam did a fantastic job making these DC legends accessible in the beat em up market.
The story centres around Superman who has been driven over the edge by ‘The Joker’ who killed his wife, his unborn child and everyone in Metropolis with a detonator and after Superman kill’s The Joker he decides to take matters in his own hands and takes over Metropolis to ensure that no crime goes unpunished. However this is an alternative reality where in the real world Batman and other heroes try to stop Joker from setting off a bomb that will destroy metropolis. However just as battle ensues The Joker and most of the heroes get whisked off to the other dimension where they find out that Superman has taken over the city and rules it like a tyrant. You’ll have to play the rest of the game to see the story as it’s every engaging. Just like the story mode in Mortal Kombat vs DC and Mortal Kombat 2011 it’s a sequence of cinematic cut scenes followed by a fight from random characters you will have to play. There are even sections where you will have to do quick time events to prevent further damage before a match.
The combat system consists of a three attack buttons including weak, medium and hard punches as well as a special button that activates your special abilities such as Batman’s bats and Superman’s super strength. Your characters also have Super moves (like in Street Fighter) that can be activated when the bar at the bottom is full and you press the 2 back buttons on your pad. You can also use it to enhance normal attacks by sacrificing a bar.
Presentation is great with a wide variation of stages and characters that are very authentic to their comic book counter parts. The characters themselves are very well detailed if a little on the small side during the fights.
The graphics are rich and vibrant with a wide variation of colours that don’t take away the edginess of the story.
Stages themselves are very integrative as you can use items to help you inflict more damage on your opponent and knock your opponent into the scenery to gain extra damage.
Music...well in my mind isn’t memorable. It’s your typical orchestra that you would hear in most Hollywood block buster. I wouldn’t mind the occasional rock them playing. Sounds effects...are realistic if a little basic.
The voice acting is 2nd to none though not academy award winning it still captures the feel of the characters perfectly. One gripe I have though and I know many of you feel the same the way is that Mark Hamill doesn’t do the voice of the Joker. I understand that he might be tired of doing the characters voice since 1992 but Rob Conroy was decent enough to do Batman’s as well as Khary Payton as Cyborg voice so why the hell not?! He would have gotten more money and phrase from the fans.
Now we talk about the most important aspect, The game play. If your an open minded beat em up player you should be able to pick this up quickly however if you’re like me living on a diet of Street Fighter games then it might take a while to get into as I got hammered in my 1st online match in this game. It can get very overwhelming at times and frustration can build however determined players will figure out a rhythm that suits them and you’ll have hours of fun trying to master every character. It has a strong juggle system just like Mortal Kombat but it’s a lot looser and unless you learn to control your characters properly you won’t get very far or enjoy this to your fullest.
There is plenty of lastability from the normal single player modes, story, challenge and online modes to versus mode which is a beat em ups strongest you’ll be playing this for months.
Also there are extra characters online such as ‘Batgirl, Lobo, and a special appearance from ‘Scorpion from Mortal Kombat) as well as extra costumes such as Batman’s Beyond outfit and Jokers Red Hood outfit where he has a bulb over his head (well criminal geniuses have to start somewhere).
Overall if you’re a fan of the DC comics, Mortal Kombat or beat em ups in general then I recommend you try this out.
I give it an 8 out of 10. Great game but as as much fun as Mortal Kombat 2011.

No more episodes of Dog City on You Tube.
Posted 12 years agoI’m sad to inform you that the cartoon slash puppet show entitled ‘Jim Henson’s’ Dog City’ has been removed from You Tube due to the fact ‘alexmantv’ has been terminated from You Tube.
There were multiple 3rd party notifications informing You Tube that he was using copyright material from Warner Bros, Redrover co ect.
This is a real shame as I loved the designs in the cartoon sections of the show. There were a load of sketches I wanted to do but never got the chance. It’s not that bad as I taped a few segments of the show in German from 2001 to 2003. I used to sketch the dogs to help my own drawings throughout the decade as it was a stepping stone towards the more professional level I’m at now.
Another thing I’ll miss is there voices. I really loved their original voice actors. It’s like when I watch Anime’s in Japanese. It feels like a revelation and I felt the same about ‘Dog City’ as I waited since 1997 to see it in English. In 2007 someone uploaded the Space episode and then You Tube removed it. Then in November of 2011 ‘alexmantv’ brought it back. A few months ago he brought back the final episode but it was short lived.
I wouldn’t mind so much if he uploaded new shows that where making money but ‘alexmantv’ was uploading old forgotten shows that only a select few remember. It’s bad enough we can’t relate to modern TV today but why take away the things that bring us comfort.
Anyway I have more sketches of Dog City to upload so keep an eye out for them including sketches I did back in 2003.
If you have links to the show to watch for free (I can’t buy it as I’m living in Ireland) let me know. I’d really appreciate it.

Best of my Moo Mesa comic.
Posted 12 years agoI want to hear from you the veiwers what was your favourite moments from my Moo Mesa comic. Maybe I'll make a collage or poster of those scaenes.
You might see some more Doopy art in the future if I get more encouragement.
I won't do a sequel the comic just references. Maybe you could give suggestions however it won't be my no 1 task as I'm working on my origanal characters.
I would also appreciate the worst of the comic so I can make improvments on the comic.

Me playing UMVC3 as Chris Amaterasu & Deadpool
Posted 13 years agoSorry for the poor quality but I don't know how to upload onto a computer.
I'm representing the furries by playing Amaterasu in this team.
Notice I have the Capcom characters speaking Japanese for this video. I just did that as not many people would listen to them.
