Furry in Florida needs Help!
General | Posted 12 years ago
stitchthelion is in need of help.He informed me of some money issues that are just getting to him so he is taking commissions!
Please, even if you are not familiar or cannot give anything of material to this Fur, kind words will help rise his hopes again and show him he's not alone.
My most humble thank you to those who read and send some love if anything, he needs all he can get right now.
Contest Auditions! Austin Furs called for Support!
General | Posted 13 years agoOkay guys so I haven't been on much or at least posting anything new. Believe me I'm tired of coming here with no new work, Ill probably be posting stuff from my art class soon.
What I really came to tell you guys is that I'm trying out for a drag competition on Wednesday, Feb 6th 2013. It starts at 11:00PM!
It's at Oilcan Harrys on 4th street downtown Austin, Texas. If you are out of Austin, don't come all this way to see, please.
But if you are in the Austin area it would be awesome if you came by to watch me and others audition for a spot in Drag Survivor Season 3! This means others and Myself will be lip syncing to various songs in cross gendered clothes.
MC Kelly Kline, DJ Bang and the OCH staff are really sweet and talented people so you have no reason to not attend due to staff.
If you can come totally do it, if not, don't worry about it, I thought it rude of me not to invite all my friends furry or not to come watch and support. Plus you may really like it and come every Wednesday.
Thank you so much for reading, it's nice to know someone does. :3
Goodnights!

Death [a rememberance and a message]
General | Posted 13 years agoI have been studying up on the furs we have lost in the past number of years with
Ainoko's post here : https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4205165/
Almost sounding like they are "subjects", but they are not.
Its really upsetting not understanding the feelings i get while going through various people's profiles who have passed away.
These were real people, with real talents and real lives. I feel sad for those who have commented saying
"Happy New Year", "Merry Christmas", "We Miss You"
But not knowing the person leaves me blank inside. Upon going through galleries and reading the profiles
I did feel a sense of connection, but the feelings others feel when they have lost someone is new to me... in a way.
The only person close to me i ever lost was an infant during my childhood. I miss her.
After hours of sad music and photos and comments i just now am about to cry writing that last couple sentences.
An image runs through my head as i think of my baby sister i never really knew but always felt.
Then putting everything together i ask myself in curiosity.
If i were to die, would people notice? Would i get comments? or be remembered? Would they even know?
Then i think, i would, by the people who matter.
And the people i know and love, if they ever passed away and i didn't find out until later.
i could never predict my reaction.
No one could ever say anything that could make it right.
They were there, and all of a sudden, they are not. It gives me chills.
I wouldn't be able to control myself, i may even go completely insane.
.
.
.
.
I may not know you, or why you read this, but deep down inside, I Love You, just the way you are.
Everyone deserves to be love and remembered, whether we know them or not.
My emotions can be a little lost,
but with a little light i can find them like i do now. I love and feel for every person, fur or not, and every living thing on Earth. Everyday life causes walls to be put up and when we lose something it hurts, we just forget where.
Thank YOU for reading this. and know, if ever need be, I love YOU. YOU reading this right now, i may never meet you, or know who you are, or make a ceremony for your passing, but YOU are loved, and WILL be remembered by the people most important in your life.
Until the time we must say goodbye, Love others, Love yourself, and know that a goodbye does not mean forget.

how do i submit work here while using my Android smart phone
General | Posted 13 years agoDoes anyone know?
I get to the information page after choosing which file to submit
And then all i get is a blank page and nothing is loaded.
Any ideas? Or is this a lost cause on my phone?

Just won 50$ at Rain in Austin, TX!
General | Posted 13 years agoThis is going to be a long story so if your not interested don't read; it won't hurt my feelings.
before i begin the actual story i need some back ground.
Start:
So basically lately life has really sucked because i moved back into my parents house with my 8 yo brat brother and my 13 yo pre madonna sister. they fight like fire and gasoline.
i haven't had a job in a month even though i made such direct and strong efforts to find one.
even worse, my current boyfriend is with me here. lets also just throw in my mom and dad's possible divorce in the process.
but then... out of the muck!
I got job interviews at two promising places just a few minutes walking distance from the apartments im currently stuck on renting until life progresses.
one is bath and body works OuO
and the other is a place called Sur La Table (sir la tahb), which is a cookware store, its actually pretty neat.
now to the glorious night
a friend from our previous living location, Victoria Texas, came to be with a friend in need for the next few days.
so the three of us went out for a night, downtown Austin, TX.
i love 4th street. upon walking into a new club called Rain, i was asked for my id and the guy lokingly asked how only i am. i responded "ALMOST twenty-one", i cant wait for the day only four more to go, and he lead me inside for the cursed black X's on my hands.
then someone who worked there asked if i would like to be in an amateur undies dance off with 5 other boys with the possibility of winning 150$.
now lately i have ran out of money since i have no job and gas is pricey and well im a frivolous spender.
so for a whole hour and a half i was nervous and trying to ease my nerves with music and dance in a typical modern gay club. it was great! i loved the huge layout of the place and the lights were much brighter than usual.
plenty of wildly dressed gays, lesbians, straights, transies, and even some bi's im sure.
we enter i freak out, they call my name after such a long time waiting, and in front of ... people...
i begin to dance in a cage by myself to music im unaccustomed. i do my best to look good, but being the little gay girl-in-a-boys-body that i am i danced as much like a good girl dancer as i could.
my shirt comes off, my belt, my shoes, my pants! and there i was with just socks and some navy blue panties with a silver bow under my belly button dancing what i knew to a crowd of strangers.
it was sweet torture in a way. the lights blaring, the music rumbling the floor, and my heart... pounding.
when the time ran out i sat next to the first contestant, i was the second of 6, and we began chatting starting with "were you nervous?" and he replied, "i do porn"...
o.o
0.0
O.O
but i totally played it off and said that was really cool, which i totally was.
we chatted while other people were performing and i come to learn he "knew" people and his boyfriend and him were to star in a porn this October, ill keep my eyes peeled.
he seemed nice and it was really neat to actually meet a porn star.
after the sixth contestant finished the host had the audience applaud and then he said.
"now these 6 men will dance for the next thirty minutes so watch and choose which you think is the best"
i thought... "... omg is this bitch cereal!?"
none the less one guy left and the other four with me danced. i did as good as possible.
climbed on the cages, used the beat box as a stand, got in front, laid my girly dance down as good as possible. then i got some water from some friends... oh god
i poured it onto my sweating body already 20 minutes in, i have to give it to all strippers and dancers who dance for a living. its really, really hard. my legs are definitely gonna be sore.
the water ran strait to my crotch and made it seem as if i had an oopsy...
O.O
fuck
>:[
oh well i danced and tried to hide it as much as possible.
the time was up and use boys were being judged by the noise people made for us.
i was very surprised to hear i was the 3rd place winner for 50$!
i was actually very dumbfounded for a sec.after the 1st place winner got is 150$ and a flesh light, lucky bastard!, i put my clothes on and danced to Lady Gaga's Marry the Night. fucking love that song with a passion!
we went home not long after a long night of dancing and all. i didn't ever think i would get this far, how the hell am i supposed to do a drag show? well what ever is next, may it be pornography, dancing or a life as another club goer in Austin, TX i cant wait
also
im officially hired at B&BW and im waiting for a response about availability at SLT

Art Classes
General | Posted 14 years agoSo i've heard the term or phrase "Tainted by teachers" when talking to a friend about never taking any art class up until now. [except a pottery class, but im a drawer not a potter... heh HARRY Potter...sorry -__-]
anywho though i think it kinda of sucks that i am, in a way, tainting my pureness i can already tell that these are classes are going to teach me a a lot and help me improve dramatically.
I have just ended the first week of school and i love Design already. Drawing hasn't yet taken off but the two are bound to be amazing classes.
Wish me luck everyone, it will be difficult to break my old habits but i am open to learning the techniques needed to land me a great job i enjoy.
Thanks so much for ready and taking a moment away from your life top delve in another 's. if i could i would give you all Otter hugs *gives virtual otter hugs*
Stay sunny!

The Doe Broad!
General | Posted 14 years agoSometimes i find myself walking through Walmart and thinking, "Why is there no Pillsbury doe broad?" The Doe boy does seem a little shady. Then i get scared to pick the canned cinnamon rolls, in fear that I'll open one up and she falls out. After freaking out like a cat and a mirror, I would simple fall to my knees and yell to the heavens, "Why do you keep doing this to me!" Looking over i see the Doe boy creep away behind something laughing menacingly, "hehehe"
Does anyone else think this in Walmart?

mean?
General | Posted 14 years agoI dont know if this is mean but im in a pissy mood cause of my cold and crap
well i really dont mean to be mean honestly my mood doesn't have much to do with it but i do have to say something...
Why does nobody use their scraps?
scrapes are there to get rid of bulk artwork right? its still just another gallery though because nothing gets deleted. right?
so why not put your hundreds of commissioned badges and icons in your scraps so they dont clog up and deter viewers from your actual work. its okay if you have a badge here or there, but all of them?
leave your bulk stuff no one really wants to see in your scraps. that is why the tab is there.
Sorry it just really bothers me. its like stopping people from really enjoying your best art. if your badges are your best art and your only art, perhaps for a specific account you use for commissions, that is cool.
AND!
if your going to make a dead account move everything from it to your new one. that way its dead... like all the way dead. Its really not dead if if it still has some art, am i wrong?
please let me know [not meant to be sarcastic] {neither is that last comment or this one}
Kay thanks for readin!

personality test
General | Posted 14 years agoi was looking through journals that was labeled something similar to this one.
i took the test, and am still skeptical about the results of this and any personality test, and here are my best traits the first being the number 1 trait and the last being the 10th best trait i have. interesting.
here is a link to the same test ==> http://www.signalpatterns.com/psych.....etailed_report
they are all true for the most part, but hey close is better than completely wrong.
Passionate
You are in touch with your emotions, and sometimes you react before you think. The good news: you don't tamp down your feelings. The bad news: you sometimes say or do things that you later wish you could take back.
You do not live your life on an even keel; you do not go for long periods without experiencing some mood swings.
Aesthetic
You appreciate art, beauty, and design; you know that they are not superficial but absolutely crucial to living the good life. You have good taste, and you're proud of it. Those with a high score on the "aesthetic" trait are often employed in literary or artistic professions, enjoy domestic activities — doing things around the house — and are enthusiastic about the arts, reading, and travel.
You don't think it's pretentious to be moved by art and beauty. You're not one of those who believe it doesn't matter what something looks like as long as it does its job.
Cooperative
You enjoy teamwork, play well with others, and prefer getting along to winning.
You're not compelled to win every contest nor to be right all the time.
Unflappable
You are not a slave to your emotions. It takes a lot to upset or unnerve you. That's why you're a good person to have around in a crisis.
You don't let it all hang out, which means that those around you often don't know the pressures you're under or what you're going through. You're not the kind of person people run from in a crisis.
Creative
You are good at solving problems, coming up with original ideas, and seeing connections between things, connections that most other people miss. People with a high score on the "creative" trait often are employed in such fields as finance and scientific research, and enjoy avant garde and classical music as well as literary fiction and scholarly non-fiction.
You do not shun abstractions and concepts in favor of the concrete and tangible.
Original
You are constantly coming up with new ideas. For you, the world as it exists is just a jumping-off place; what's going on inside your mind is often more interesting than what's going on outside.
You don't feel that the road to success is to be a realist and stick to the program; you never stop yourself from coming up with new ideas or telling the world what you're thinking about.
Organized
You like to think a task through before you embark on it. If it's the slightest bit complicated, you make a list (even if it's only in your mind) and methodically work your way through it. When you have a goal in mind, you're not satisfied until you reach it.
You are not one of those people who ignore the details, and you don't understand how anyone can get anything accomplished without thoughtful planning ahead of time.
Innovative
You come up with a lot of ideas; if one doesn't work out, there's always another waiting in the wings. You often have interesting solutions to difficult problems. You're practically a one-person brainstorming session.
You are less interested changing the world than in dealing with things as they are. Unlike those who spend all their time trying to solve problems, you prefer to zero in on things that work and stick with them.
Intellectual
You are thoughtful, rational, and comfortable in the world of ideas. People find you interesting to talk to. You're the living embodiment of the saying "You learn something new every day." In general, those with a high score on the "intellectual" trait are employed in such fields as teaching and research, and are enthusiastic about reading, foreign films, and classical music.
You do not avoid abstract conversation, experimenting with new ideas, or studying new things. It bores you to stick to the straight and narrow of what you already know.
Curious
You like to get to the bottom of things. You're not content knowing what someone did; you want to know why they did it.
You don't simply take things as they are and move on; you're not content skimming along on the surface; you don't feel you're wasting time by digging for the meaning of things.
i took the test, and am still skeptical about the results of this and any personality test, and here are my best traits the first being the number 1 trait and the last being the 10th best trait i have. interesting.
here is a link to the same test ==> http://www.signalpatterns.com/psych.....etailed_report
they are all true for the most part, but hey close is better than completely wrong.
