Please Help - My Dog Has Been Shot
General | Posted 6 years agoI deeply apologize in advance if this kind of thing isn't allowed on FA, but I also want to say that I'm only ASKING and not DEMANDING. At the very least though, I do ask that anyone who sees this helps spread this around.
On November 17th, (I know I say October in the video but I was really shaken up and stressed from being in the ER all night) my dog Tyrion got out when he was excited to see my nieces come over. What should have just been your average drive around the neighborhood to find him turned tragic when a man we asked for help told us that he had shot my dog because he was "terrorizing him" and "he felt threatened". The man claims to have a chicken coop in his backyard that my dog destroyed and killed all of his chickens, but even then my dog would have been covered in blood, feathers, etc. so we're extremely doubtful of that. Now because of this, my girlfriend and I have been slammed with a $5000+ ER bill to get our TeeTee taken care of.
Hindsight is 20/20 and screaming at me about pet insurance isn't going to help in this situation. I didn't even realize that was a thing in the past, but I'm obviously VERY AWARE of it now. Every little bit helps even if you can only give a dollar, but even if you can't (or just don't want to) donate then please, please, PLEASE share this in all of your social circles.
Here is a video of me explaining what happened in a bit more detail (again, I flubbed the dates because I had been awake for 24+ hours): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyG2giztf1c
And here is the GoFundMe page, which has a full breakdown of the costs, for those interested: https://www.gofundme.com/f/please-h.....cp+share-sheet
We were originally quoted for only a 48 hour stay, but because of some recent issues with his kidneys failing because of the stress of his injuries they've increased his stay through the weekend, which adds on top of our original $5000+ quote. Every little thing helps, whether it's a donation or a share, so please help us in our time of need.

Help me practice! (Free commissions!)
General | Posted 6 years agoI have recently got back into drawing art again after not having drawn for almost 10-15 years. I've been doodling pretty much anything and everything, and I'm not too shy about anything I'm willing to draw. Yes, I mean anything.
Help me break off all my rust and unleash my inner artist! Just follow a few simple rules for this:
1.) You have to be patient. I work full time as well as go to school full time. I can't draw every single day, and the amount of time I can draw is pretty limited if I'm bogged down with a lot of homework and studying. I might even have days I'm so overwhelmed by life I just don't want to draw at all. You're essentially getting this for free, so please be patient.
2.) I am basically starting out fresh, so don't come at me with crazy outfits or insane poses. Let's start with simple poses, basic outfits, etc etc.
3.) You have to be okay with me sharing my art... That also means that there may be things I don't want to share. If I draw something for you that I consider to be absolutely insane and off the rails, I may not want to share it publicly beyond this page. Please respect that.
4.) Nothing is "too much" for me, so don't be afraid to ask me for things. When I say I want to practice "a little bit of everything" I mean it. Just don't be... You know, WEIRD about it.
5.) Some of my little rabbit OCs are based off of my real life friends and family. If you want to do an art trade, please, PLEASE, PLEASE ask me first if you plan on doing anything with any of the characters. This just goes without saying, but it still needs to be addressed.
6.) Sometimes I will trace things for backgrounds or use pictures as a reference. Please be aware of this. I will always, always, ALWAYS let you know right away if I am. Consider this rule if you have a specific image you like, and want it edited to feature your character.
