Have to put my dog down...
General | Posted 14 years agoWell..It's time. He's lived 15 years. 11 of which were with us. We had rescued him from abusive owners, who had left him in the basement, where he had been forced to eat rocks...
Now, at the end, he has a brain tumour and liver cancer..he isn't eating, his back legs are unable to support him, and we can tell he's in a lot of pain. Before he injures himself falling down stairs, and to stop his suffering...we have decided to put him down tomorrow, Wednesday, at 7:30 pm EST.
He has had a wonderful 11 years. He's been to 3 provinces, camping, had many Christmases....and many many more good times. He's eaten better then most dogs too. During the past few months, he hasn't been eating his dog food so, as the vet said, just feed him what he'll eat. So he's had steak, pasta, paté, pizza, fries.... and anything else he would eat. Even with this he kept losing weight. It's gotten to the point that he was shaking lately cause he is so hungry.
So while I am going to be beyond sad.....it has to be done, and I realize that. He will be in a better place, and without pain.

Vancouver Riots
General | Posted 14 years agoCongrats vancouver on showing the world how gracefully we lose. Possibility of 9 stabbings, 5+ car fires, looting, fights...the police are finally using flashbangs and tear gas. But the smoke is high above the city now.
It's so stupid; you get the 'professional rioters' that go in (or as the mayor calls them...hooligans), and get everyone riled up.
Stupid. That's what it is. All I can say is tha I'm happy for technology. As I type this, CTV camera-man just got another person on camera. The police will be happy getting everyone's cell phone/camera footage.

General | Posted 16 years agoHi all, I don't do a lot of journals, and this one is not sitting too well with me...but i'm getting kind of desperate.
Right now, I am in need of financial help. At the moment, as some of you know, I am full-time in school; an intense 6-month Audio Recording Technology program, that has me going in to school at 8am, and getting home at 10pm. Classes finish at 2-5pm, but with all the work....long days.
This means I can't find a job that works with my school schedule. Even worse next term when we start having seminars etc...
All this to say, that I am not really asking for money. Sure, it would be appreciated, but I prefer to work for my money.
What I'm getting at is this:I need help with ideas/ways I can make money, that works with my schedule. The teachers don't suggest working at all during the 6 months........but I need money. My car, my bills...not fun.
Any help would be appreciated....
