lmao, I made a point to take photos of all the commissions I did, and they came out looking like I drew them all on manilla folders!

I'm thinking about making animated gifs/icons and also posting my stories on here and weasyl. I would really love some feedback so I know if I should. There will be three stories, each well over 20 chapters at this point.

A retelling of Little Red Ridinghood.
Red Riders are couriers, delivering news, carrying important packages, and passing borders with as much skill as an assassin. They are called demons, and witches, and are rarely met with warm receptions in the places they visit.
Phoenix is such a courier, and during a job clashes with the locals. Due to a misunderstanding, she ends up on the run, labelled a criminal, and wanted dead or alive.
During her escape, she crosses paths with a man named Wolfe.
What happens when Little Red Riding Hood teams up with the Big Bad Wolf?

Jessamine "Sam" Sinclaire has been trying to live a rather normal life; go to school, get a job, drive her younger siblings to softball practice, live completely under the radar.
That was her plan. For a shapeshifter, blending in is an easy thing.
All of that is completely thrown out the window when she botches her interview, bumps into a cute guy and hits her head on the pavement. Things go from bad to worse when a Dragon appears, dead set on finding something.
What's a girl to do??
Lonely Monsters
Meela Amana works at the local pizza joint as a waitress. She's met alot of different people, and does so with a smile. When one of the patrons gets a little handsy, things spiral out of control and leaves Meela in tears. Once everything is cleared up, things go back to normal, as if it never happened.
What happens when someone doesn't take no for an answer?
During a more vicious altercation, Meela find herself infected. She slowly starts turning into a monster, fangs, claws, and a violent reaction to sunlight has the young woman scared out of her mind. After much research and second hand information, Meela finds the only way to break the curse is to find her soulmate.
"Sometime in your short life, you have already met your soul mate. Find them, have them confess their feelings and the proclamation of true love should break the curse. Do it before your next cycle. If not, I will be coming for you myself, to end your pain and suffering."
Meela and her family search for the one person who can free her from becoming a vicious, man-eating monster, before the clock runs out.

When you want one, I'll need to have a reference (written, drawn, character sheet, all are really good), and will keep in touch to see what exactly needs to be done. With that reference, I'll ask what color you want the lines on your character to be.
If you'd like standard black likes throughout, that's cool. I like using dark colored lines (dark maroon for Tin, and Navy blue for Raylee) to bring out the depth in them. Anyways.

Tired. Doing a 12-15 week course in 8.
Aside from the odd holiday, I will not have a break.
Family and my own choices made so I go all year round, for all four semesters.
That means, very little time in between for art/stories.
On my days off I'm either doing yard work, getting a leg up on assignments, or just miscellaneous.
When I do squeeze in some time to do doodles/requests/bullshit, I'll post it then be on my merry way of being dead.

Finished the Netflix original series Hemlock Grove, (omg I have to wait how long for season two?!!!) and the Korean Drama (wasted my life for a course of almost 23 hours, over the course of a week) PASTA~!. Both series are good for what they are. HM for horror, mystery, drama and such, and Pasta for cutesy tootie romance, with cooking, and heavy tones of drama. Not as dramaful as something from Japan or China were everything is based on family honor and keeping emotions bottled up.
On another note. Spring semester. Three days a week.
best weekend after FCN, waiting for a friend of mine to upload their photos/videos. Sold some art, made new friends, and danced like a con famous chick that is known for:
-skipping/jumping in the lobby (I can reach up really high when I jump, and make really good turns without hurting myself)
-passing out bubble wrap.
-"Jellyfish" during the rave.
this weekend?
friday:
Went to the highschool, saw my bestest lady friends, and did the socially exceptable, running, squealing like little girls, glomping and holding tight like you never want to let go, hugs. You know, girl stuff. Then we hung out afterwards, drew some pictures and talked about stuff.
Saturday:
Errands, church, then went to volunteer at my bro's concert. I sold refreshments, cut cake and joked with elderly gentlement about the decaf coffee. Then dinner at Mongo, and as I seem never to fucking learn, burned the inside of my mouth because I added a full table spoon of pepper flakes to my squid and tofu stir free. I ate it all, I do not like wasting food. Passed the fuck out at one.
sunday:
Family get together. This was my original weekend plan: Go over friday, help clean, setup, and cook until sunday, then help all of sunday when asked.
how it really went down: Arrived an hour early, began setting up, cutting, dicing, arranging, washing, and putting fresh bars of soap in the bathrooms. As people began arriving, they brought food as well. Most get togethers are potlucks, with a wide assortment of foods, most being precooked and ready to served. Some cooked at the party, like lumpia(spring rolls) and mashed potatoes.
While my relatives were playing host and hostess, my brother, sister and I, cooked and made it look pretty. After everyone left, we veggied out on a couch.
Goodweekend.

Okay, so for the past few months I've been dragging my feet about setting prices and organizing a spread sheet/example sheet for commissions. I finally did the numbers and for my own good(and kind family prompting) I'm going back to college. Spring, summer, fall, winter and then all over again. I will have to pay a substantial amount of tuition/courses. Books and such.
I also do comics, and character reference pages.

I will be handling the drawing aspects of the cards, and will keep in constant contact to get the image until satisfaction is accomplished. My work is $15.

21 years of age! Do you know what this means?!
I'm finally legal to date! BZZZT. jkjk.
Nothing really changed but now I'm allowed to drink and I have to read up on laws involving alcohol and where to store it during long drives.
Went shopping and found some awesome buys on some posters, and a sword.

I'm thinking of repainting the scabbard and getting the blade engraved. Nothing tacky or weebish. Just something to make it more.... Mine.
my gifts were practical and fun, and a bunch of friends just sat around watching Youtube videos. Got very close to the weird part, did not cross over into the disturbing part.
All requests will be up this wednesday.
In other news, me and a bunch of friends will be attending FCN this April.
For those of you that went last year, there is a 83% chance we met. Here are some refreshers for those with faulty memories:
1. Short girl with long, light colored red panda tail.
2. giant harness of bubble wrap roll. "You! yes you! you need some bubble wrap!"
3. Whose Lion is it anyway. Big Titty Bounce. if you get that reference congrats.
4. Raver glowstick ball, partying with the 'jellyfish' girl.
5. Spilled water all over myself like a drunkard after rave.
6. Gave out really cheap commissions, and free stuff in artist's alley. Big hair.
Speaking of Artist's Alley, a collegue and I are constructing metal mock pokemon cards/badges.

These are prototypes atm.
There will be two types of cards available, big window/one attack, normal window/two attacks.
a. Normal window will be constructed just like the playing card, attack, type, HP, Energy requirements etc. Images are hand drawn, and buyer can choose between more furry like, or to actually turning their fursona into a pokemon.
b. Big window is just a slightly bigger area for the image to go, with only one attack instead of two. If anyone is interested in buying, then picking up at FCN please inquire at either of us via Note.
