Yeah my cousin runs a t-shirt printing business and we came up with the idea of collaborating our efforts. She prints the shirts, I make the design.

Her business is still new, so I'll probably be advertising and wearing samples at Anthrocon. How many of you would want something like this? I'll possibly be taking preorders at Anthrocon if it generates enough interest!

I'm thinking $20 - 50 because it takes my cousin a little under $15 to make one and I want to help her make a profit. Not only that, but a lot of artists charge that much for a basic badge, let alone a high quality T-shirt. Oh, we can make bumper stickers and bags, as well.

So I went to the Apple store today to have my computer looked at. As you may or may not know, with my previous configuration (that had 2 years worth of apps and files on it), it was running SUPER SUPER SLOW, timing out, crashing, etc. The Mac people said there was nothing physically wrong with the computer. WELL HM.

Last night I wiped the HD, put a fresh copy of Leopard on, and decided NOT to migrate all of my old data. It literally works like new. Unfortunately, that leaves me without a bunch of my old applications like Flash, After Effects, etc. If I were to migrate these programs onto the fresh copy of Leopard, it would leave me with freaking 13 gigs of space because it HAS to copy the library, too.

Well today I found out that *GASP* you can actually SWAP HDs on a macbook, even though they make it seem like Macs are all mystical and impossible to tweak. I ordered a 500 gig HD to replace the measly 80 gig one I currently have. That way I can migrate all my old applications without leaving me with 13 gigs of space, like before.

YAY!!!!!!

I won't be able to use flash for a couple days, but... OTHER THAN THAT!!!!! this is super cool!

Oh, also, the final bill for my car is $700+. I decided i'm gonna spend most of the summer putting money aside for it, then get it fixed right before I drive out to LA, just in case I get into another unfortunate fender bender. :X

I've had it with my computer. It's being such a BASTARD. This weekend I'm finally getting it fixed. I was putting it off before because I didn't want to risk losing Otto. But I just backed up my entire library, backed up my system a half a dozen times, and by golly I'm gonna go get it fixed >:C

So around this weekend I'll probably not be able to do commissions. BUT I CAN TILL THEN THOUGH. I MEAN WORK ON THEM. NOT TAKE ANY MORE.

The plastic is broken; the styrofoam underneath broke off when it was in the ditch.

It isn't as bad as I initially thought, the damage appears to be cosmetic, however the car alarm keeps going off randomly, but my dealer says he'll cover that in the warranty. :|

Okay, I've decided. I'm canceling whichever splat icons I have in my queue that AREN'T paid for. To be totally honest, doing icon memes like that, to me, is torture. I hate doing the same thing over and over again. I'd rather think up something original than trace the same animation over and over.

In other news, remember that brand new car I got a while back? Well when I drove out to visit a friend tonight, I realized that I forgot to put the pizza away at home. So like a responsible driver I pulled into someone's driveway to call my dad to have him put it away. Except in the dark, I pulled into a muddy driveway that was right next to a drainage ditch. I slipped partially into the ditch, and when I tried to back out, I ended up getting my car stuck, with it's backend at a 45 degree angle in the air.
The front bumper is ruined. I don't know what to do. I tried to hard to be cautious and responsible and I got fucked over anyway.

So here's what I'm going to do. You know those original animated icon things going around? The ones i do for free? Well in order to try to pay for my fuckup, I'm gonna offer them for 20$. You get an original animated icon for your use (and I can even give you the .swf file or a larger .gif), and I get help paying for my car that was SUPPOSED to help me get to California.

Hey guys, for the past 6 months or so I've been kinda..... well unresponsive and unfriendly a bit. I just want to apologize.

I haven't been watching back or replying to comments or commenting on other art.

this is my last semester at school and I'm sure as you can tell, Otto is my final animation.

I'm kind of launching into the next phase of my life, so it's been really crazy for me.

This includes commissions and those (gag) splat icons. I haven't opened commissions in forever, but I haven't completed any, either. I'm not one to cheat or run off with money, and I'll always respond if you ask me about progress, I just have been at a standstill with commissions obv.

I'm kind of out of excuses at this point I guess, but I hope you guys can forgive me for being such a butt. :<
