Posted 3 years agoHey! Just wanted to create another journal for another great con experience I had!
It was the New Years Furry Ball! First time I've ever been to a con THAT small. It was teeny! But still had a lot of friends going. Roomed with some fabulous folks who kept my spirits high during the short time we had.
Room party #3 was a rousing success! Lots of cute and wonderful folks showed. No drama, no messiness. Just fun and sexy times to be had all around.
It was also my first furry con fursuiting! I gotta upload some pictures here soon. I had a lot of fun doing it, but wow I wasn't ready for the heat. It's way too dang warm in those things.
Shorter than my last con report, because it was a short con! Only spend two nights there. But it was a great little weekend escape, and it was SO NICE to have that following Sunday all to myself to wind down from it all.

I just would really like to remember my time at this con, because it was the BEST CON TO DATE for me. Which is saying so much after topping my previous #1 favorite con, which was MFF 2013 (very first con). This recap isn't meant to be... cohesive or pleasurable to read. It's for me to look back on in a few years and remember this special weekend.
Let's start off with Thursday. It was an ELEVEN HOUR DRIVE from MD. We also had to make a pit stop along the way to find one of my travel companion's partner who is currently working near Chicago. After the drive, we get to our hotels. I was staying in the Hyatt ROSEMONT (not the main one, sad) and the other two were in the Rose (there was some initial confusion... we thought we were in the same hotel). After dropping them off, I go park and I meet up with my roomies after registering. HOLY SHIT I COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR BETTER PEOPLE FOR ROOMMATES!!! I roomed with a sweet couple and they made everything so awesome. They're cute, they're sexy, and they were really looking for the kind of con experiences I wanted to go for. Earlier that day they bought some edibles and I was so hyped for edibles and snacks after all of our travelling!! I grab us some food from the casino across the street from the hotel and we munch on burgers, fries, milkshakes, and watch cooking videos all night. The edibles dosage was juuuust right to make things go smoothly.
Friday starts... slow. We wake up late, and stay in the room until the afternoon. Mostly because we were all getting to... know each other better 😜. The main goal for the day is to have the room prepared for a sexy party I've been planning. It started off as plan to have a foursome... that just kept growing. We hit the artists alley and I grab a badge commission. We hit the dealers den and I don't see much. Grab some food from the food truck outside and I finally get to see the regency for the first time since 2014. It's a MAGICAL place. The hotel is gorgeous. But for some reason it just felt... smaller this time around... I'm not sure how that happened. Perhaps it's just WAY more crowded nowadays. I depart from my roomies to go find a certain DOG that I've been meaning to see for years now. I meet up with him and his husband for cuddles, and by the time we grab some food it's already time to get the party going. I do my best to corral people (and unfortunately it takes a little bit of time... I hate keeping people waiting) we hop on the shuttle and head to my hotel room. Vibes are chill and clothes come off rather quickly (more quickly than I expected). At this point I was unfortunately feeling bloated and... whisky dicked. So it was tough for me to sexually engage. But still had good fun regardless! I definitely had a good time cuddling up to a long time twitter mutual in the group that I've been meaning to fool around with for a WHILE. I also unlocked a certain cat's newfound excitement for leather harnesses! The night ends, and it's so nice that me and the roomates can just... relax and sleep after the party. No need to go back to our room, we're already there!
Saturday now. This is the night of the BIG party. I've been planning this on telegram for over a week and a half. The one of friday was a bit of a pre-game, now's the main event. The crust has a pan fried style but still remains deep dish. LOVED IT!! Afterwards, it was time to get the party started. And my non-furry friend CAME IN CLUTCH. He bought TWO LED lights meant for me and my BF to use for our twitch streams. But as it turns out, they were GREAT to use for the party to create mood lighting. THAT COULD NOT HAVE PANNED OUT BETTER. I take about an hour and a half to fully set up for the party, and people were REAL EXCITED. Folks showed up outside the door 20 mins before we began. The turnout was AMAZING. The room always had people in it, but it was never crowded. All the folks who came by were great as well. Fun conversation, a lot of them were hot, etc. Like the night before... I'm not feeling up to actually doing any sex stuff. But it was nice to wear a harness and a jock and have people shove money in there to tip me for buying all the booze and snacks 😌. Throughout the party, I'm drinking bloody Mary's, and slowly but surely I'm getting wastey face. But it was a good amount of drunk. I was bubbly and energetic and still coherent. 5MG edible was also eaten, and at around midnight-thirty, the party wrapped up and we went to the dance. I DANCED MY STUPID PUMA BUTT OFF. I was really feeling the music and didn't feel self-conscious at all. I had an absolute blast.
Now it's Sunday. This is my free day. Nothing planned. I get up and out on the con floor before noon. SUCCESS. My side-quest for this con is to buy everything cute and cool. Stickers, pins, and even a mini Flint 🐲. One thing I really liked about this dealer's den trip for me is that I ran into SO MANY people I knew. It feels great to approach folks or be approached and just start chatting up. Just makes me feel special and popular, I guess ♥. After my dealers den excapade, a certain DOG requests to steal me away. He, his hubby, and I have a cute time at the hotel room~. Hunger sets in and I need to find food FAST. Luckily, some friends from the party I hosted Saturday, plus ANOTHER twitter mutual was hanging out and thinking the same thing. We link up and I drive everyone to a Korean BBQ place called New Seoul. It's about 15 mins away but WOW IT WAS COOL. First time ever doing KBBQ, and I loved EVERYTHING. There were SO MANY SIDE DISHES! And they were all AMAZING. After dinner, it was pregame time before the dead-dog dance. We smash a couple bottles of my booze (I didn't want to take ANYTHING home. I wanted that shit GONE) and head to the dance after shuttle-con. I dance my booty off again. This time with LESS vigor. My legs were still not feeling great after the previous night's dance. I get tired and head back up to the room where my KBBQ crew was. I wrap up the night fooling around with a cutie I was eyeing since Friday. I really felt like a cat in that moment. Seductively and gracefully perusing what I wanted with great patience. That patience is really great for building tension, and it payed off wonderfully~. I really enjoy that feeling. After my little romp, it was time to Uber back to the Rosemont with the roomies. The driver was DEAD SILENT. It was great I tipped him $5. We get back up to the room and I'm sitting on my bed, contemplating on how AMAZING this weekend was. The main thing on my mind is my dear heavenly friend who should have been there with us. Everywhere I go I carry his memory. He WAS with me the whole con.
Monday is the woooorst. Wake up late. Check out. Say goodbye to the roomies. Pick up my travel companions at the Rose, and we head on home. 11 hours. Luckily I had the sense to let one of my travel companions be a co-pilot and drive the second half of the stretch.
Tuesday is where we are today... I'm dead tired and I have a lot of work to do... But I wanted to get this out of my head before I put it off any more. If I keep putting it off I'll never remember to do it.
TFF should be the next con! I'd love to do something like this journal again. I want to remember these moments 10, 15, 20 years from now. This was one of the best weekends of my life.

Here's a 2021 Life Update
Posted 4 years agoHi there, to anyone who's interested enough to read. Just wanted to give another update on my life since the last one I made a year ago at the beginning of the pandemic.
Things are going much better now! I was able to get a new job that lets me work from home. I work in sales and really enjoying the freedom it's providing me. I'm making good money, and I have great coworkers... it's unreal I was able to transition jobs DURING THE FUCKING PANDEMIC.
Relationship with my boyfriend is stronger than ever, coming up on 5 years together 💖. We decided to try out being poly, and it's working great and even has brought us closer together! So at the moment, I'm only dating him but he's found himself another lovely man who makes him very happy. His other boyfriend is a very lovely man, and a dear friend of mine. It's a cute poly-cule we got going on, and it's made us all very very happy :).
Lastly I started streaming! I've been finding a lot of joy in entertaining folks on the internet. I stream in two places. Firstly (and predictably) on Twitch https://www.twitch.tv/bowserpuma . And then you'll see me doing some more ~naughty~ content over on Plexstorm https://www.plexstorm.com/stream/plexpuma
Plexstorm is where I devote most of my time. I usually do two things on there. I work out live in my undies for everyone to ogle at. It's a lot of fun, and it's built up a ton of confidence for me. Also I'm really working towards a body type that I really want. The other thing I do is visual novel live reading. I voice act for all the characters (poorly...) but it's such a laugh riot. I enjoy that immensely as well.
Visual novels have become my favorite form of media as of late. I have so much fun reading them on stream, and I absolutely love the characters and the medium itself.
I'm coming out of this pandemic a more well rounded person and it's honestly very exciting. I'm very excited for what's coming next!

Another life update.
Posted 5 years agoHello! Been a while since I've step foot on this site to do more than browse at submissions. I just dumped a bunch of art from the past 2-3 years so go check that out :).
Anyways, if your curious about my personal life, here's what has been going on. I graduated engineering school in February 2018. I started working as an mechanical engineer for a medical supply manufacturer in December 2018. Still hired, but currently furloughed as of typing this because of that damn virus. My boyfriend and I are still together, coming up on 4 years together in June. He's the love of my life <3.
As far as furry shit goes, I've been taking a break from cons and meet ups. I still want to be involved in the furry community but social anxiety often gets in the way and it became a real problem when I went to Anthrocon 2019. I don't have any plans to get a fursuit or anything for the near future. So I'll just keep chatting with friends and admiring cons from afar. I do everything on twitter now (https://twitter.com/BowserPuma), this is where I'm the most active. So please come follow me and feel free to send me a DM if you'd like. I also have an after dark...you'll have to ask for that link.
But yeah, staying inside and collecting unemployment. Also attending to things I haven't touched in some time (i.e. my FA account). Thank you for following me on here, but seriously consider following me on twitter if you want to get to know me better.

I'm in my fourth year (but not last) year of college. Hopefully will get my bachelor's in mechanical engineering in May 2018.
I'm working for my school as a resident adviser. It's been quite rewarding, thus far.
I started dating my dream-man back in June <3. He means the world to me. Unfortunately, when I'm at school I'm 7+ hours away from him :(. So we're on a part-time LDR.

So yeah, I'm gonna do that FE thing again. Very close by and lots of good friends, so I decided why not :3.
I'm not going to do an entire fucking meme thing so here's some basic information.
ROOMING:
I'll add links to the accounts of the individuals who I'll be rooming with as I get to know them...I'm rooming with about 6 strangers xD. Doesn't bother me too much though. I will be in the Sheridan though :3.
PLANS:

I'm not on a vegetarian diet anymore, I don't give a fuck where we eat. I'm also legal to drink in Canada...so that's totally a thing.

So MFF was pretty fun, didn't live up to the expectations set by last year but still a fantastic way to spend the weekend nonetheless. Met up with lots of friends from last year and made quite a few this year, so that's exciting :3. My only complaint was that my body wasn't able to keep up with the con activities...I ended up napping quite a bit x3. Although finals have got my sleep schedule in quite a knot and it was difficult to readjust during the weekend. Anyways, I definitely want to go back next year if possible, but if it interferes with finals again I'll have to HEAVILY reconsider >.<. Also if I missed you I'm sooooooooooorrrrry I'll try to get you next time :3.
Aaaaalso, I've been inspired by this con to seriously put some money towards getting a fursuit and my goal is to have one by next year. Planning on spending somewhere around the $600-$700 for a partial but I may dip into personal savings if more is required x3.
IN ADDITION keep an eye out for me opening commission slots during the winter break if you're interested in a minimalist :3! I may come up with another badge design but I'll work on that once I'm not a stressed out ball of fur and can actually get my creative juices flowing since they're being so oppressed by all this MAAATH D:

So I'm back in Buffalo now after a loooong summer :). Getting back in gear for school and closing down commissions in the meantime just to alleviate stress that's not needed.
I'm planning on going to MFF 2014 and FE 2015 x3.
I'm starting to poke my head back into the dating scene. Spent a substantial amount of time shutting myself out during the past few months, but I think I'm ready again x3.
It only took three years...but I got my license :D.

Recent developments that led me to believe I was assured a room have kind of fallen through...so does anyone have extra space? If necessary, I will be totally content with sleeping on an air mattress on the floor if need be, I JUST NEED A ROOM TO SLEEP IN x3. And this may sound picky, but I will not take any offers for a room outside of the Hyatt at this point. If worse comes to worse I will gladly room in another hotel, but as for NOW I would only like offers for rooms to be in the Hyatt Regency Hotel, please :3.
As a roommate, I will:
-Pay my share of the room fee in cash or via pay pal to the individual who has booked the room IN ADVANCE or during the first day of the convention.
-Not hog the room x3.
-Not drink alcohol that is not mine...unless offered :3.
-Abide by any ground rules established among roommates.
-Try my best to keep drama at an absolute minimum.
As a roommate I CANNOT:

It's of course not a dedicated furry convention, but there are furry panels and meet ups which I will definitely attend as well as a few magic: the gathering drafts x3. No hotel stay required seeing as I have a goddamn dorm xD. Here are the deets:

FE 2014 Con Report
Posted 11 years agoSo I think I just finally caught up on my sleep after taking an afternoon nap for 3 hours today...so I guess it's times for a con report :3!
Start off with a TL:DR...
Had a fantastic time even though I had expectations that were...unreasonable x3. Commissioned artwork for the first time ever from a dealer's den, played some board games, and met LOTS of new friends, a lot of which live pretty close by :3. All in all, I enjoyed myself and didn't have too much to complain about xP.
LONG VERSION:
So all in all, it wasn't as magically fantastic as MFF was, which was to be expected from a convention that's much smaller. My expectations were a little too high, which was a sliiiight bummer x3. Wit that being said, even though this was my second con, there were a lot of firsts :3. One being that I commissioned my first piece of artwork from a dealers den, this weekend :3. Artist unfortunately does not have an FA page at this time, so I'll link her when I can. Not only did I buy one, but two :3! I'll post pics of both when I can x3.
Also this was my first time participating in the board games room at a convention :3. The staff coordinating the games room was FANTASTIC. He allowed any and all to participate, explained the rules very well, and kept the games rolling while still managing to make everything humorous :3.
There were also a few individuals I'd like to mention who made this con as enjoyable as it was. First being my sweet darius-kei for arranging and making this all possible :3. Second being the whole Ontario fur crowd for being so hospitable and friendly, ESPECIALLY amixeduppuppy for being so generous and putting up with my constant "I need this" bullshit from me x3. As a side note, it is INCREDIBLY flattering to hear, "Oh, you're BOWSER? I've heard so much about you!" as often as I did. Thank you, Term and Tybalt x3.
So I came to the con not exactly sure what to expect...but I left very satisfied :3. There were a few low points which I'm not at liberty to discuss in this journal, but nothing too bad x3. Although, I am left with a lot to think about for the future...which includes future cons.

Posted 11 years agoSo I had to pull quite a lot of strings and had to shift my schedule around in order to accommodate FE this year, but I FINALLY tied up all the loose ends this morning and now I'm FE bound next weekend :3. Long story short, I have a psycho professor who thinks it's appropriate to give exams to college children on Friday nights but I was able to arrange an alternate test date x3. I may do a meme, I may not, but here's general information :3.
-I'll be staying in the Sheraton hotel and rooming with my sweet darius-kei and him only (LOVE this arrangement) x3.
-Going to be there from Friday afternoon until Sunday night.
-Be arriving via red fox (A.K.A Dari's scion) x3.
-If you have severe brain damage and for some reason want to come meet me, let me know before hand, first of all so we can arrange things.
-If you want to find me, I look like that weirdo in my profile ID and I'll be likely walking around with my puma tail and with my amixeduppuppy badge :3.

Posted 12 years agoFirst con went pretty smoothly, I have to admit :3. It was such a blast, met lots of awesome and interesting people, and really just had a fantastic experience overall :3. I was kind of attached by the hip of my darius-kei the whole time xD. However, that proved to have been no hindrance because he had the best con experience of his life and it's means the world to me to see him as happy as he was. Wasn't perfect con, of course x3. Main issue pertained to our rooming situation. Five people shoved into a room with ONE king sized bed and one roll away wasn't very ideal...led to a couple sleepless nights and three roomies made privacy an issue >.> . Silver lining to all of that nonsense is to be smarter about rooming arrangements for next con and next year :3. Also flying there created a minor inconvenience of not having transportation from the con x3. So options were to hitch a ride with someone who DID drive there, taxi, or walk...we ended up doing all three throughout the con x3.
TLDR: Con was amazing. I love Dari. Rooming situation was only downside x3.
