Plans going forward
Posted 2 years agoMan...been a long time since my last journal huh?
I was planning on saying something last new years but as usual, got behind and forgot to say anything; but ain't gonna delay it this year.
It's nothing super serious, but I'll still apologize to the people who were still watching me all this time for any of my art and stuff; as I'm going into my 5th year with my job, I've just been mainly focused on it and relaxing at home afterward, playing games/lack of motivation etc etc same excuses from my other journal.
So while I would love to promise that this year might be different...I have no idea if it'll be even after these changes I plan on doing for myself:
- Mainly to start getting into the rhythm of exercising; both to hopefully help my head and sleep issues, and to get better at doing all the lifting parts my job might require of me at times.
- Look into therapy; I did make steps last summer looking into this with the help of a counselor who got me and my mom a number for a therapist dedicated for people on the spectrum like myself, and hopefully maybe this summer I could try a couple of sessions and see if that'd help me at all. (while not bringing up anything of this online part of my life obvs...which might be a reason the therapy may or may not work out)
Of course tho, if any of you have me on discord or in servers with me you know how active I am over there; so I guess it's just a case of me just liking talking with people, sharing ideas, and wanting to get them done while I'm busy with the rest of life. So very much in that min/max multitasking mindset ahaha...
Plus on that logic I do have a good backlog of commissions built up, but I feel after I was accepted into ToyHouse I wanna make that my main priority site for sharing that sort of thing, and then after all that's set up would I start uploading more stuff to places like here and Twit...I mean X.
In the end, I'll still say this, I fully appreciate any of you who still follow me, and I'll try to the best of my abilities to look into being more "professional" looking here..but I won't go as far as to make any full-blown promises rn.

Posted 5 years agoYea as the journal says, after being prodded by a certain uxie, I'm gonna be hopefully uploading some stuff over the next week or so, just to get both OC's down that you guys haven't seen yet and from pics I ordered from peeps not on FA; plus some stuff I've actually done over the years-
Hopefully tho I actually remember and not get too tired and distracted after coming home from work...

Yea apologies, I know I haven't posted a journal in almost 2 years, and haven't uploaded anything aside from the marshie in the same amount of time.
A couple reasons really, aside from being very unmotivated all 2018 from my cat dying to just getting used to living down here still; in February of 2019 I got my second ever job, and boy was it a big jump up from my old one.
Monday-to-Friday, 8 hour, 6-2pm then 2-10pm work days, and regular mandated weekend overtime at a metal working plant. The job itself after awhile is tbh really easy, just routine and tedious; but having to work all those hours and coming back home would more often than not just left me wanting to play games more rather than art.
That's not to say I haven't done -anything- at all in the past years; heck in just the past half-year I got a few new chara designs down, with some help xd
I guess another reason for my inactivity is just I felt more comfortable on Discord talking with peeps and looking at their art then try making my own, plus with me getting a good paying job I kinda started dabbing into comissions more x'd, but sometimes ya gotta do yer own stuff.
So I'll just have both a general new years -and- new decades resolution of just trying to get the motivation to do more art and to try and get better at itlike alllll my other new year ones, but who knows what the future holds hahahaha.
And one more thing, I def would need a new/better watermark if I do get back into things tho; more so idk if I just wanna update the date of my old one or make a new thing from the ground up.....I'm stubbled...
But anyways, hopefully you all have a good new year/new decade to come!~

Posted 8 years agoWelp...my motivations have taken a big nose dive fast...
Just found out a lil bit earlier that our cat's cancer has now spread to her legs, making her have trouble walking even tho she was fine a day or 2 ago; so now we're gonna have to put her down in the next week or so...
Edit: scratch that...we decided to put her down today...
So incase you see nothing for the next while then you'll know why...
...and 2 weeks before my birthday too...

Posted 8 years agoI know I know, almost a year without a new journal and one not on new years? Yeeaaa I know that seems bleh.
The thing is tho, aside from being at a family party on said new years, I had a lot of stuff going on in 2017; mainly finishing up school, actually having a job for a few months, and moving twice; once to my aunts to help finish up school, and back in with my folks after it was over. So the whole 'moving' situation kinda boggled me around a bit,and maybe some lack of motivation.
Now I gotta worry abit about finding a job down where I live, so that might get in the way of things; but that doesn't mean I won't try drawing more this year! In fact, I have a pic that I finished up from last month that I feel I wanna post, just gotta change the watermark lol.
But aside from that, I hope all you guys have a good 2018~

Posted 9 years agoYep you read that right; as of yesterday I'm now employed! :D Don't know my hours yet but I do know that I start on Sunday and can't work on Tuesday/Thursday since that's my school days. Fiiinalllyy feels nice that I'm gonna earn abit of income.
Also with that pressing issue off of my mind I might be able to focus a biitt more on my draws whenever I can; heck I'm pretty much ready to line my next OC since her sketch is done.

Haaappyy New Yearsss~
Posted 9 years agoWell, 2016 has come and gone; and it was certainly the most, interesting year no doubt.
I mean sure, a good load of wonderful people had gone and passed in the span of a few months; among other things.
But personally I feel that this has been a really good year; I've made good friends/mutuals with a bunch of artists on both here and Tumblr, and in general I feel I've been improving on my own art skills pretty well (sure I haven't posted stuff since June, but my friends and lil groups know I HAVE been drawing a few things here and there, just really didn't have the motivation to really finish anything cause of school and moving plans; aside from one thing haha). And, arguably one of the biggest positives, my city finally won it all in ANY big sport after half a decade. (Almost did it flippin twice this year but eh, one win is good enough for now)
And, I guess my goals for this year are to try and sit down and draw more, keep trying to land a job, and maybe get a much better computer to actually draw on; only one more semester left of college tho!
Either way tho, I hope everyone has had a wonderful New Year's and now to head off into the unknown that is 2017!

Posted 9 years agoWelp, I just got back from our 2 Thanksgiving dinners we have every year (dad's side and mom's side); and we didn't leave the second one till almost 2 AM XD
But either way tho; I'm always very thankful for my family, who are always fun to hang around with from both sides. And I'm very thankful of all my friends I have on here and have made and done fun stuff with in the past year, especially some of you really close ones~ <3

Posted 10 years agoWelp, now 2016 is here to stay!
Overall 2015 was a great year for me; my grades turned out better then I expected for college, actually tried my hand drawing seriously for once (being somewhat decent at it), and making good friends with people I've really looked up to/never thought I would've~
Really my goals for 2016 are to keep my grades up as usual, and try to draw abit more. Maybe when my family finally moves down state I'll might have more time IDK. XD

I read the news a while ago from my good friend
that he's being forced to go on a church mission for 2 years, or be kicked out of his parents house with nowhere to go. So that means little to no activity from him here for that period of time. /w\
I'm still gonna keep in contact with him personally, and might post some sfw sketches he sends my way IDK, since he can't do anything lewd while he's there.
So good luck out there man, and godspeed~ *salute*

Bust Charts?
Posted 10 years agoOkay, this has been on my mind for awhile, but does anyone know of a good pic that shows different bust sizes? And I mean actually showing the different sizes for comparison not just listing what the different sizes are.
Because this is a bit of a problem for designing some of my characters, I don't mind giving them similar bust sizes, and I know some sizes, but I at least want to know what each size looks like.
