Quick update!
So thankfully things are starting to get better in my country with Covid (Ireland) and we are now permitted to vacation within our own country. I will be gone from today until Thursday. It was a rather spontaneous decision on my family's part so there will be a pause on my commission queue until I'm back. After months of being locked indoors and no college graduation, this is much much needed!!

Writing this journal to close my flow of commissions for now, I've been feeling under the weather the last few days and I'm not sure what it is, just praying it isn't covid but can't rule it out. I have aches all over and I am experiencing headaches and other ailments, I need to monitor myself and stay at home. I will be taking my time with my current queue, I am getting through them steadily so I do ask for your continued patience and thank you for your support. Also I would like to note I may not work on commissions in chronological order, I will be working on them according to how I feel. (For example if I feel well enough to tackle a large illustration or feel sick so can only complete a sketch com.)

Okay so literally one of the reasons I went on hiatus was because stoopid FA still wasnt allowing username changes and I felt because of my stupid ass username that is literally a BODILY FUCTION was ruining my branding because if you searched me you literally couldnt find me and it's not exactly a username you remember either. I dont know WHAT possessed me to give myself such a dumb username maybe it's because I wanted to be hard to find for people I know so I picked something completely obscure not knowing it would effect my progress so much -_-

So like FA, please, it's been long enough and promised for years now, give us the goddamn username changes.

Hey everyone! Not sure if my followers remember me but I wanna drop in, say hi and announce that I'm gonna come back to FA!
I left last year because I wanted to fully commit to my college course and learn some other areas of art. I missed the fandom and drawing cute characters so much so after a lot of deliberation I'm gonna come back and give it another shot for the fun of it! While I was gone I worked on lots of projects and other kinds of art which I've uploaded some of and will continue exploring other kinds of art which you can view on my two Instagram accounts Radioactive.goldfish and Kerri.mcdonald.3ddesign.

Since it's been awhile, I have nothing but time on my hands and wanna get back into drawing some cute chars, I'm opening for commissions! They're fairly loose and experimental to help get back into the swing of things, and they will also be fairly cheap so shoot me a note and we can get chatting! I'm super excited to getting back up and going again.

The next 2 weeks in college are going to be hella busy. I started my comics elective last week and it runs for 3 weeks total. I have to make a 6 page comic once a week, which as you can imagine is quite a bit of work. If I knew it would effect how quick I'm able to hand out owed art I wouldn't have chosen this elective. -_- Honestly thought it wouldn't be this busy haha. Very sorry guys to those waiting for art but it may take a lil longer than expected! ^^;

It is the middle of the night as we speak, I have the flu and my whole body is in pain, i can't so much as move my arms much or even swallow without pain. I'm exhausted and I cannot even sleep. I honestly feel like I'm going to die. Commissions will be put on hold until I'm better, hopefully after this week. Unfortunately I need to get an extension for my college project which I am so not happy about. Please understand guys, I'm just riddled with aches and pains, sore throat, congestion and fever. Hi guys! So the thing is I just got my brief for my next prop making module in college and I have to make a chess set and a film prop based on the vikings. It can't just be like any viking chess set you might see anywhere else though, it has to be unique and different to what my tutors have seen before. I got this theme at random through a draw so I'm a little worried I won't be able to put a unique twist on it. There has been a viking chess set made by a student every year and the only ones I know of is a bone theme and another is a sea themed viking set.

I was hoping that someone with a keen interest in Viking culture would be able to help me out with coming up with a unique idea to put forth in a design to fabricate. Also an idea for a unique viking prop would be awesome too!

I'm so tired time and time again of people bidding on auctions and withdrawing leaving me empty handed for my work. Art is my only source of income right now and its what is helping me feed myself each week. Each character design I do and each commission I do I put my heart and soul into it and I really do NOT appreciate time wasters. Withdrawing bids from an auction that is literally just about to finish is cruel and some sick joke because for some it is all we have. I am now left without money for next week and have to desperately scramble for what I can to keep me going and not have to borrow.

Those who withdraw from my auctions will be blocked from my account. Unless you have a good reason, do NOT bid on my auctions and withdraw last minute.

I am sick and tired of working my damn ass off and getting walked over for it. Just don't be that dick.

So I finally quit the job I had. The pay was under mimimum wage and it was causing me too much stress and anxiety. I hadn't been paid for my work for 4 weeks. The boss was horrible and treating his employees like shit. Plus we were made say long after we were paying paid for. My co workers weren't the nicest either..

I'm gonna throw up some designs for auction because I'm very stuck for money right now. If I owe you something please have patience I will have it for you shortly, I just need to earn a bit of money until I can find something else.

Ever since I came home from college in April life has been miserable. I still live with my parents since I'm 19 and this shit country is too expensive rent wise. Anyway my parents are both alcoholics and fight CONSTANTLY. It's been like this for years but since I left for college I didn't have to deal with it but now I do until I go back but that isnt for ages. My dad is at the bar every single day and my mam stays in drinking every night and they butt head like there's no tomorrow and drag me into them. I have begged them and spoke to them so many times to get help but they won't recognise they have a problem and refuse to get help. I begged them to get marriage counselling, to get counselling for their alcoholism atleast but no. No no no. I am constantly pouring wine bottles down the sink, my dad screams at me everytime he comes home from work and pisses off to the bar. I feel I have relationship with him. My little brother is 15 and has to live with this while I'm away. My depression is back and getting worse by the day. I don't have friends around here, my only friend lives 3 hours away and I can't even drive so there's no escape. Please, does anyone have any advice on trying to help this? I'm naturally a caring and helpful person and I constantly try to help people but being so involved in this is destroying my happiness. I just can't deal with it anymore. I'm getting nothing done either. I just hate this shitty life.

EDIT: Their families are no help either. My aunts and uncles like to brush shit under the carpet and get on with their own lives. Ive asked for help many times.

I want to know what your opinions are on that ;A; I find designing characters much for enjoyable and commissioners are really hard to come by for me. But I won't turn them down, only a few here and there. Do you think I should continue on here with my designs or make a seperate account for them? Doing this will most likely give me more time for personal stuff too. ^u^

I'm just writing this journal to let it be known that I post adoptables between commissions, so please don't be alarmed if you see this. I haven't forgot about any commissions! For me adoptables bring in more money and commissions are so few so I have to try earn a good amount of money each week/month to go towards college.
