Updates and Coming to AC!
Posted 8 years agoHi Folks,
I've been very absent on this site the last few months as I've been largely twitterburrs and when I don't post art I don't tend to get so engaged. Thought it was time for an update. I've been seeing a handsome wolf out of Arkansas the last few months or so and he's coming down with me to AC in Pittsburgh this Thursday. Between that and work, things have been relatively busy for me and I've not been doing too much with Bres but I think that can be forgiven.
For those of you wondering, yes I am doing another brunch/lunch at AC this year. It's at the Ten Penny Diner from 11 am - 12 pm on Friday. For those of you interested in meeting up, you can join our Telegram group at https://t.me/joinchat/AAAAAEMc_grFhhQB8a6-Mg. I never know how many folks are going to show up because Con Planning and stuff, but we've got room for twice as many folks as have mentioned they wanted to go so don't be shy.
I have more pictures to post from Trips to Arkansas and up north over the weekend. Hopefully I'll get those up in short order for those interested but don't have the energy tonight. Looking forwards to meeting some folks at the Con though and rooming with
skarlath and
ethancormack.

Posted 9 years agoFor my 38th birthday I decided to do two things I've wanted to do for a number of years, whether or not I was going to have company and get them off my bucket list. I went to Old Baths in Montreal and then Winter Carnival in Quebec between Feb 2nd and Feb 6th , taking the train. I had an excellent time and the weather wasn't so bad. The trip wasn't without it's challenges but I'm glad I made it.
If anyone is interested in seeing pictures, they are at http://s326.photobucket.com/user/tc.....c%20Feb%202017

Pizza Burrs @ MFF!
Posted 9 years agoHey Folks,
Since the Brunch at Anthrocon worked out really well and MFF is still a pretty big place to try and get a hold of someone- I'm looking to put together a Bear Pizza Run @ MFF to Giordano's for Deep Dish. I've never had Chicago Deep Dish and it's reasonably close so it seems like a good idea. If you're interested - fill out the following survey I set up to get an idea for desired time and dates.

Hope to see you there!

Commissions - Apply Within!
Posted 9 years agoI'm keeping my eyes open but I'd like to get a couple more commission of Bresnan. Really can't do high end pricing because Burr is still a little light on funds but here is the sort of thing I'm looking for:
- Price between 15$ and 75$
- Will be SFW, will likely gravitate more towards cute toony type things.
- One character color + simple background
- I don't really have a reference - if someone wants to take a shot at that let me know - might be able to open up the wallet a bit more.
If anyone is interested, send me a note - I'll take a flip through the gallery and see if it'll work out. Pitch me your idea if something comes to mind as well. I'm usually good with thinking something up but sometimes it's nice to be blown away by a cool idea.
Thanks anyone who is scanning this journal for taking a look and considering.

AC 2016 Recap
Posted 9 years agoWell...I'm going to give this my best attempt. I'm going to try not to miss anyone or anything, but I honestly don't have everyone's handle here, so if you don't see it presented here - by all means help me out or correct me and I'll fix it.
I admit that I was somewhat taken a back at first when folks had expressed interest in me coming to AC - I had just really been to my first con in almost 10 years in Toronto and while that was fun, it was maybe a fifth of the size of what folks expected at AC. I'm not a crowds guy and this sounded like the biggest crowd I could possibly dream up - so I really didn't decide to put both feet in till probably 1 month before - and that was a hotel booked deliberately outside the con area.
Turns out, my fears were pretty unfounded. Yes, the con was big but I can't think of any one thing I had to wait in line for, or that I was crowded out of which is pretty awesome. In addition I through together a brunch with a bunch of my Bear and other friends online and I was awfully happy to see most of them come. Anyways, here's the best recap I can do and some links to some pictures -both of the con in general and the fursuit parade.
NOTE: If anyone has an issue with any of the fursuit or other pictures and want me to remove them, just let me know which picture and I will do so - its certainly no attempt of mine to get anyone uncomfortable or in trouble.
Friday - Flew in around 3pm or so and met my friend Rich who wanted to come up from this Hershey are and hang out for a night. He' s not a fur but he was curious and joined me in the evening. We had a hiccup as he forgot to bring Photo ID and that was almost dead in the water from the start but thank to the nice Con Folks who works with us to validate him and get him entrance.

We met
geekwhoeatsrice
Lightning_Tiger_25 and their pal HuskyTechFurCGR pretty early on and tagged around with them for both Supper at Jimmy John's and to the Karaoke. Karaoke was interesting - the guys running it were cool but the setup was glitchy and I was left doing a whole lot of improve on my first track when it decided to cut out multiple times during my song (Black Keys - Tighten Up). I guess if I was going to get really shy and introverted that was going to be the time - but I stuck with it.
Afterwards we checked out the Whose Lion Is It Anyways panel which was pretty damn hilarious. I didn't get pulled up to improv and that was probably fine honestly because I'd had enough public exposure for one night. We called it in, around midnight-ish and went back to the hotel. It was a short night but still nice to run into somebody .
Saturday - Brunch Time! I had set up a TG meeting place to keep folks in touch who were looking to attend and I'm glad I did because we had been planning on eating at Sammy's Famous Corned Beef and I had been told to call the morning of and get the tables by the window pulled together and give final numbers. I did that , and well...the response on the other end of the line was less than enthusiastic, and it didn't sound like anything was going to be done. BIG SHOUT OUT to Ten Penny Diner for accepting a reservation for 20 furry folks on an hours notice and being awesome to deal with - you were potential lifesavers. Had a really nice crowd too:

Here's my best attempt at attendance - again help me out if there's a icon that I'm missing:
degiburr ,
Osogrump , Red Velvet , Mosh(?),
UrsusArtist ,
SquidHooves ,
EthanCormack ,
skarlath ,
TheBulfPup ,
tsa-la-gi ,
KaltVetur ,
Zulgrath , digiburr (Kazuko Ai) ,
xdeadlockxfan ,
FST ,
geekwhoeatsrice ,
Lightning_Tiger_25 ,
HeavyMetalBear , HMB's Cute Boyfriend (dammit I can't find the name...sorry Dude)
A notable absence was
diesel_rottie and
TorqueCub who didn't get the venue change. I feel pretty bad about that but I was able to catch up with Diesel later and I think he didn't manage to get his way around to quite a few folks and I was glad of that. I will meet the Cub sometime I hope!
Afterwards I caught up with
Degiburr and
Osogrump and crew - they know a dizzying amount of people, so it's impossible for me to keep track of all of them but I know
mdmangi ,
Certo ,
Jarvi and Mosh were there and do the tour of the Dealers Den with them. We also caught the Parade together where I decided to take pictures of the entire parade. 340 pictures later ...maybe I overdid that...anyways, for those interested:
http://s326.photobucket.com/user/tc.....de%20AC%202016
After wrapping that up , I joined up and spend a good amount of the rest of my day in the capable hands of
skarlath ,
EthanCormack and
TheBulfPup . I intended their Therianthropy panel and found it a very interesting presentation. I'm still not sure I am, but aspects of it appealed to things that I notice I definitely do that I associate with my Bear part.
It was time for more Karaoke in the evening where I was able to sit in with
tsa-la-gi and
KaltVetur and have a good laugh at the uhm...wide assortment of acts on display. Apparently I can sing too I've been told. So can they but I was not able to persuade them to show me on stage - next time!
I finished my night off with the last panel I attended which was Horrible Readings In Furry Fiction - that was actually a lot of fun, because that book was suitably awful ..and obsessed with Dining and Currency Exchange. I did get a shot at a section or two....I was pretty well shot after that so back to the hotel.
Sunday, I was able to catch up with
diesel_rottie and bring a peace offering of Coffee and get to sit down and chat with him for a good chunk of time and help him get his room checked out. I was glad to have the time to say hello.
Afterwards I got some more time in with various folks out of Degiburr and Osogrump 's DC Crew either wandering around the Den or up in the hotel room. Before moving my way down to the Zoo and hanging with EthanCormack , xdeadlockxfan , BoreasBear and navajo before scooting out (well scooting might not be the word, we got intercepted by two nice girls, one clearly loaded ) for pizza with EthanCormack and skarlath and handing out at their place for snuggles and food.
I got turned around on the way home, but no harm no foul, and got into the hotel really late...making the point of actually getting good sleep Monday. Maybe in retrospect I wasn't able to say good bye to a few folks because of it, but I really needed the sleep after a very busy weekend. I did get to see Finding Dory on the Monday but I was pretty well on my lonesome one I helped Lightning_Tiger_25 with his stuff.
I'm sure I missed some details in this recap but it's bloody long enough. Apologies if I missed anyone or messed up any names - it was a lot for someone who is normally a semi-social Bear. Great fun - I think this post exhausted me LOL.

4. Are you religious?
Not particularly, though I believe there is someone up there.

I regret my kinda scorched earth policy with my university/high school friends when I went to Virginia. Thought I wanted a fresh start, lost a few folks who could have been good friends.
6. Favorite Song?
Distant Sun - Crowded House
7. What are you currently listening to?
Run With Us - Lisa Lougheed (The song from The Raccoons)

As a really young kid I'd chew carpeting. Does that count?
9. Your favourite emoji
I'm a winker ;)

This seems to change but we'll go with British Racing Green for now.
11. What's your sexual orientation?
Gay. Definetely Gay..and Burr :)
12. Do you have a crush on someone or are you in a relationship?
Unfortunetely no for either. There's a couple folks that I could crush on if I let myself but at 37 you learn how to keep that on simmer rather than boil. Been out of my last relationship since January.
13. How to make you like me?
1. Love to Cook/Be Interested in Food.
2. Love to cuddle and hug and be naturally warm.
3. Just be a really nice guy.

That's a tough one - toss up between verbal abusiveness and apathy. I think apathy wins.
16. Name one movie you'd recommend to your followers
You Can Count On Me - it'll make you cry if you're close to any siblings.
17. What was the best day of your life
Wow...uhm...I do remember spending an entire day with a really handsome friend of mine at the Beach, then with him sleeping on me at a get together and finally the rest of the day in bed just messing around and being super close. I really needed that at the time and it made me feel very special.
18. If you won $10 000, what would you do with it
Probably pay off some debt and use the rest to potentially purchase a car.
19. Tea or Coffee (Sugar, Milk or None?)
Black Tea, Splenda and Cream (Type 2 DB)
20. How do you imagine your life will be in 10 years?
I'm going to be optimistic that I'm going to find someone who feels totally and utterly comfortable and welcoming and who really wants to see me happy. I don't know in what format that'll play itself out but if we want that for each other I'm going to be a happy burr.
21. If you could redo one day in your life, what would it be?
That second time I tried to cross the Border with my brother to get back to VA. Not only wasn't it worth it, but that totally changed things between me and him - also the most frightening day of my life.
22. Favorite game?
Final Fantasy I? I really like Scrabble too.
23. What do you hate the MOST?
Apathy or worse hatred of learning and opening one's mind up.
24. What do you like a lot?
People looking for the good in other people and being supportive.
25. Toilet paper, facing against the wall or away from the wall?
facing against the wall I think - you'll pull the right amount.
26. Three Things on your wishlist....
1. An actual reference for Bres- when I have the money.
2. Someone to visit the Bear for once instead of vice versa.
3. A boyfriend, that is furry or fur accepting and that is close enough that I can just spend a night whenever.
27. Name one bad habit of yours
I stay up way too late.
28. What's your favourite food?
In general Vietnamese, in particular however Shepherd's Pie with lots of veggies.
29. Do you have any pets? (What are their names?)
Wish I could but no - I'm a dog lover though I'd consider Turtle or Hedgie too :)
30. Have you ever been suspended from School?
I don't think so - I don't know how I didn't get suspended for fighting Scott though...oh well :)
31. Have you ever lied about your age and for what?
I've never outright lied about my age, but I've had people offer me stuff that was clearly meant for an adult due to my size/looks and not said no. Cocktails anyone?
32. How is your relationship with your parents?
Good with my Mom, we like a lot of the same things and can talk with one another. Non-existent with my Dad who has been quite a colorful character over the years and whom I'm not interested in getting to know.
33. What's your favourite season of the year?
Fall by far, its a bit crisp and dry - two things that work really well for me.
34. Funniest moment in your life
Oh geez...I can't remember. I've got really spontaneous with the humour the last few years and things just happen but then you look back at them and it doesn't read as well ...but at the time...
Those who want are free to borrow this...
Tom
2. What is your age?
37 Years old
3. Your hobby(s)?
Karoake, Tennis/Volleyball, Guitar, Old Board Games
4. Are you religious?
Not particularly, though I believe there is someone up there.
5. One thing you regret doing, ever.
8. Name one weird thing you used to do as a kid
As a really young kid I'd chew carpeting. Does that count?
9. Your favourite emoji
I'm a winker ;)
10. What's your favourite colour?
14. Name 3 Turn Ons
1. Cuddliness - in personality/build/actions...I'm a teddy bear.
2. Uhm...someone with a naturally fatherly disposition and deep voice *blushes*
3. Beards, Burliness, Body Fur.
15. Name your biggest turn off
That's a tough one - toss up between verbal abusiveness and apathy.

Final Tally - Bear Meet @ AC 2016
Posted 9 years agoHi Folks,
Those who have been paying attention know that we have been trying to arrange a sort of get together for FA 2016 for the Bears and Bear-Admirers that want to attend from here, the Bear Chat group on Telegram and various twitter users. We know that it will be happening on Saturday, July 2nd, 11 AM at Sammy's Famous Corned Beef Sandwiches (901 Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, United States) which is a short (less than 10 min) walk from the Convention Area. At this point we have to reserve for space if we can - and give the restaurant an FYI - so I have to go off of the notice I've received:
The following individuals have expressed interest at some point during this process:
degiburr &
Osogrump ,
EthanCormack &
skarlath ,
diesel_rottie &
TorqueCub ,
geekwhoeatsrice &
Lightning_Tiger_25 ,
Zulgrath ,
ursusartist ,
xdeadlockxfan
That's 11 Folks + myself - which if everyone shows up would be a good sized crowd. Now I do know not everyone had Saturday as their best day - so I'm not necessary expecting all these folks to attend and there is always a possibility that 2 or 3 more folks tag along ,but I'm going to be setting up a reservation today or tomorrow for around 12 people unless I hear otherwise. If anyone could confirm their attendance that'd be really nice ...I'm going to shout out reminders on pages very shortly and do a similar shorter post on Twitter but this is where we're at.
See you guys in a little *less* than a week,
Bresnan

Burr & Burr Burrfriends Meet @ Anthrocon 2016 Final Edition
Posted 9 years agoHello Folks,
So we've shored up Location Time & Date for this little get together that we're going to have for Burrs and Burrfriends: We're going to be aiming for 11 am on Saturday July 2nd, 2016 at Sammy's Famous Corned Beef https://goo.gl/maps/rLyb1Qdi1rE2 and looking to wrap up for those that need to get back for the Fursuit Parade before 1 pm, so they have a chance to get ready before 1:30 pm start time. The place is less than a 10 minute walk from the Convention Centre as per the guide and we'll meet up to walk over.
At this point - now we're trying to get a feel for numbers and things so if this is something that you're interested in attending shoot me back a comment here or a Note so we can start to plan. Also - do me favour if you are by posting this message in your journal.
Thanks,
Bresnan (Tom)

Burr & Burrfriends Meet @ Anthrocon
Posted 9 years agoFor those of you here that are going to Anthrocon and happen to be Ursophiles, or Ursines themselves, me and
diesel_rottie are throwing together a bit of casual get together for Brunch/Casual Lunch at 11:00 AM through to about 12:15 ish or so (we need time to get the Fursuiters back to the Hotel and ready for the Parade if they need to do anything). We're down to about 2 or 3 options for location but it will be walking distance from the Hotel and we'll b meeting in the lobby at around 10:50 am or so.
If anyone is interested in coming along, respond here or send me a DM to give us a heads up - we want to start getting an idea of numbers to we can reserve some tables. I'll be posting this in the Bear Chat in Telegram and Twitter as well. Early indications is it'll be a relatively cozy group but we'll see!

I should probably do this - AC Thingy
Posted 9 years agoWhere are you staying?
Crowne Plaza - about 3 mi out.
What day are you getting there?
Friday Afternoon - Thanks Work :)
Who will you be rooming with?
My friend which will stay Friday night - otherwise I'm by my lonesome :)
Who will you hang out with during the convention?
Definite Targets:
Osogrump
degiburr
diesel_rottie
TorqueCub
skarlath
ethancormack
First AC so I'm not sure how successful I will be :)
Are there any panels you might be attending?
I will be Karoakeburr and I will attend the Therianthropy session, and hmm....Whose Lion Is It Anyways? and Readings in Terrible Fiction Looks fun - pretty open.
Are you attending any stage or public performances?
likely
Will you be suiting?
No Suit :)
How old are you?
37
How tall are you?
6'2"
Are you taken? Are you looking for a mate?
Not Taken , I wouldn't say that this is probably where I'm going to shop for a mate but you never know :)
Can I talk to you?
Absolutely - give me a warning if I should know you though as that's going to help a lot. Also I'm kinda deaf in a crowd so by all means pull me to the side so I can hear you or it might get frustrating :)
Can I touch you?
In parentally approved areas absolutely ;)
How can I find you?
Hmm...best way is to let me know you're looking for me - otherwise it's going to be pretty random, Burr does need breakfast and lunch partners however:) It's a pretty good bet he will be around food often enough...
Can I visit your room?
That is on an individual basis haha....but keep in mind it's off site...
Can I buy you drinks?
Not much of drinker - I may share one with you :)
Can I give you stuff?
I am going to be shy about arts in my conbook and things. I don't generally like to ask folks, so anybody who would like to certainly would make a Teddy happy.
Can I hug or snuggle with you?
Alluding to above Teddy comment - yes :)
What about more intimate stuff?
Weird thing to just put out there publicly. You'll know if you can, not really here for that.
What’s your goal for the con this year?
Meet some folks that I've gotten to know online, and maybe some more local furs. Also to get a good look at some art things and maybe pick up a commission or two.
Are you nice?
The general opinion seems to lean towards yes?
How long are you going?
from Friday through to Monday Evening
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
Walk Up, say Hello Teddy or Bres and give me a hug :)
Where will you be most of the time during the days?
walking around looking at things
What/where will you be eating?
Not set...I want to let get folks together though as that'll be an easy place to talk.
Can I come with you for food/fun etc?
I don't see why not?
Can I take your picture?
I don't know why you'd want to - there will be far more colourful and interesting folks about ...but yeah, absolutely :)

Houston Trip Recap - 4 Bears and a Husky
Posted 9 years agoLast weekend, I was down in Houston visiting some buddies that I had met here and over Telegram
Garoh
Zulgrath
Bin and
Tubaguy10x. It was both Zul's 21st and a final weekend before he goes back to Ohio so the perfect chance to get a visit in.
Lots of fun was had and we kept a pretty busy schedule through the weekend. I think what I liked best was being able to swim in the ocean in really nice water with high cresting waves for maybe the 3rd time in my life. Got to that twice and also had dinner at the Horse Track, a Day visiting Moody Gardens and the first time I'd been on a Zip line and otherwise taking some of the Landmarks in Downtown Houston and Walden Galleria.
Oh ..and food....on a trip with 4 Bears and Husky (and we had representation: Panda Bear, Grizzly Bear, Black Bear and Polar Bear!), food was going to be central and we got Cajun, Colombian, Italian, and Whattaburger all wrapped in there, as well as a really nice Buffet at the Horse Track. I had a really great time and it was nice to get to know the guys a bit better and hang out with them all. Also to tack on a few new "life experiences" *winks*. And I'm really really awful at Neo-Geo golf - like historically awful.

That's a group picture of us at the races and then here's a couple more:

Thanks guys for having me down there. I had a lot of fun and it was a great way to relax a little. Hopefully I might see some of you at some upcoming Cons, depending. I know
Zulgrath mentioned a Canada Trip this summer and
Bin and
Garoh are pondering :)

Posted 9 years agoIt's been a bit nuts since I've come back and I really haven't had much of a chance to settle down and write this but I spent the Easter weekend out in Seattle visiting my buddy
Standish and his partner
RynDragon. It was a bit of a crash trip in that I only really had 3 full days but we made the best of them including a hot and steamy 3.5 hour hotpot session (there was just soooo much food) and some gaming, as well as trip out to visit my Aunt in Bellingham - which I had been promising to do forever, and which may truly have been the highlight of our trip. The weekend flew by so quick but I really had a ton of fun which is the important thing and got to know Ian and Bryan much better which was really awesome. One of these days I'll find a way to work back out there as maybe part of western swing right out to BC with more time.
In the meantime here are a few pictures from the trip:

Songs n' Stuff
Posted 9 years agoThose of you who've read my description know that I'm rather into Karoake and Music in general. I haven't until recently picked up the guitar in quite some time but I've taken a run at a couple songs with me playing and singing. I really don't have recording software so I just use the open track on Singsnap and layer accordingly but there's a couple half decent ones I thought maybe I'd share:
Tampa To Tulsa - Jayhawks - http://www.singsnap.com/karaoke/r/ba73930b1
Side of The Road - Blue Rodeo - http://www.singsnap.com/karaoke/r/c18e02321
Black Star - Radiohead - http://www.singsnap.com/karaoke/r/bc6fee321
I'm definetely a work in progress, but I think I'm getting a little better :)

WTF Wednesdays!
Posted 9 years agoWell..I've completely flopped on my TMI Tuesday posts lately, either being able to respond to them or put one up myself - Tuesdays just kill me at work...so perhaps I'll start a new tradition: WTF Wednesdays!
Please post here anything that's happened to you or in the world today or recently, that makes absolutely no logical or rational sense ....and we'll see if anyone can either identify or answer the unanswerable!

A Few Not-So-Random Assertions
Posted 9 years ago1. If you drop several one word replies to me in a row, you're telling me you don't want to chat. It might be situational, it might be that particular day your particular mood , but don't be surprised if I encounter this repeatedly that I am going to simply drop it on your lap to let *me* know when you want to have a conversation.
2. If we RP and you reach the finish line so to speak, just let me know and if you're the type of person who passes out - that's cool, but have the decency to just at least like ...say something like, " I'm passing out". It's not that hard....
3. Shots of your anatomy say little to nothing about you- *unless* you choose to shoot them out indiscriminately over the web. Then they say that you really have no qualms with strangers looking at you as sex objects and propositioning you for you body instead of who you are as a person. That's your choice- I personally will take a clean picture of someone on a really good day , 10 times over an ass or cock shot. (hmm..can we tag journal entries as NSFW?)
4. If we go a week without chatting ...it means two things have happened: *I* haven't contacted you AND *you* haven't contacted me! Shame on US- but though I am usually the one to reach out someone I do not feel like I have to be wholly responsible to grab your attention all the time. Don't know what to say but want to talk - just *nose* me or something . That's all the hint I need.

StormHowltcbear79 is officially dead..
Posted 10 years agoHI Folks,
I think I've given enough of a bleed over period and wrapped up enough loose Notes chains that I can officially put
tcbear79 to bed. Going forwards everything should be coming through here.
In other news...I suppose I surpassed 100 viewers again. I have no ambition to have more viewers then I care to be able to recognize and have a conversation or comment with as needed...so I expect the number will grow organically but for me this *is* a significant number because the majority of you are friends or folks where I truly admire your talent.
Thanks,
Tom (Bresnan)

Birthday Weekend in DC Recap
Posted 10 years agoI had been making a point of over the past few weeks of trying to find something to do over my birthday weekend, since I knew I wasn't going to be travelling my normal route and the thought of turning 37 alone, stuck in the Middle of Winter up here didn't appeal much to me. I was having a really difficult time deciding what I ought to do with myself however - since travelling by yourself, while it gives you total flexibility, can also be a bit of a drag. It was a stroke of good fortune and well, a least a bit of good intuition or luck on my part that in the midst of being torn a bunch of different ways and not convinced of any of them, I reached out to
degiburr and
Osogrump out of the blue really to ask if they wouldn't mind being tour guides and just someone to hang around with if I ended up making my way to Washington DC, which was a trip I had my heart on for several years now.
They agreed, which was something of a brave move on their part, having not had that many opportunities to talk with them, and we ended up having a really great time walking about the Museum of Natural History and the American History Museum:
We also spent a good amount of time, outside of the touristy stuff just bantering back and forth, watching the Great British Bake Off ( which they are obsessed with but which turns out to be a one of those very rare things - a good spirited, and amiable Reality Show/Contest where you actually learn stuff) , and eating -because we are Bears and they know the city restaurants really well. I definitely came prepared to be spoiled in that regard and that was on target, and in the meantime got to meet quite a few of the DC Furry Group (I now know far more of the DC Furry Group than the Toronto Furry Group which is in a word.....Sad.)
I have some pictures of the actual Tourist stuff too and you'll find those in the link below but it was really nice to meet a few new friends and I *may* have been convinced to go to Anthrocon this year. It still feels like an awful lot of folks and overwhelming but I had such a nice experience and a chance to run into these guys again and some other friends I'd really like to meet means that I'm seriously considering it.
To
degiburr and
Osogrump : Thanks for making my 37th birthday a LOT easier on me guys, I can't tell you how much I appreciate and now nice it was spending time with you.
I know I've been a little out of touch on here folks. I'll be looking to bat a bit of a catch-up in the next couple of days and I'll have a couple things to upload as well.

New Year's Resolutions (repost from tcbear79)
Posted 10 years ago*I actually intend to track these so I suppose I should post em here with a couple additions*
I'm not good at keeping these things so making them too big or complicated is just inviting me to fail.
1. Post an honestly to goodness drawing every 3 months.
2. Get back into writing something around the same schedule, even if its just fur porn. I've complete lost sense of any writing other than what I do for my job.
3. Actually get out and meet somebody local to hangout. More important keep in touch with the one fur I have met and rather like and don't lose track of them for once.
4. Plan a vacation- don't feel guilty taking it.
5. Try to relearn to play guitar a bit more and push myself some to add some new songs to the repertoire- whether they are my own or not.
6. Keep a house that I wouldn't be embarrassed to have someone come over to.
7. Find a rhythm for taking care of myself properly - get all my A1C's and don't go through stretches without pills.
8. Not spend ridiculous amounts on food just because I'm craving something - try to target like less than 20 dollars each and every time and if I go over, go under the next day.
If I could do all of that -my year would be better and more productive than last.
