Woo... yeah.. okay guys.
Posted 15 years agoWow, I have been super lackadaisical in getting art up. I posted a new one though. Please be proud of me. Anyway, now for an update on the art.
I am still working on a bunch of drawings, but I started work on some non-furry projects so my posting speed went down. Hopefully, I will be able to keep getting at least some little inkings up.
I have recently found an obsession for hooves on creatures and elven ears, so stand back while I upload a lot of fawns. Hey, at least it isn't more cats.
Thank you all so much for your support so far, -gives love then grabs her pencil.-
ps: Post three numbers, one through ten, for me to play my 'make a critter' game. It's something I made up.

Purrs on the projects.
Posted 15 years agoYAY, three characters crossed off the list.
First, Ethalyne:
She was my first full portrait with my markers. I was not satisfied with her hair at all. It was messy in the shading. She also looked a bit three dimensional and the shading wasn't as smooth as I would like in her fur. She also looked a bit shallow. People also spoke of her muzzle being too square and her looking sad instead of slinky.
Second, Mango:
I designed Mango to be cute, and did a lot of experiment with the eyes to get them to sparkle the way I wanted them too. It worked great. I used a tip taken from a tutorial I read online by another artist who has used markers much longer than I have. That was a white gell pen. It's awesome. Her hair was more tidy, but it needed more contrast. I also struggled with getting a background that looked good. The cherry blossoms turned out well. I also tried to make her spots more loose and less blocked out like Ethalyne's were. Her back turned out a bit too square. That was the biggest critique I reseived. I really liked how the emotion I wanted to portray came out strong.
Third, Willow:
I am really poud of this piece. The largerst critique I resieved is that the tial base was too this, I am not sure if I agree. I tried to tone down my colors in this image and make them seem more real and less cartoonie. I also spend longer on the design of this image to make it look more complete. I tied a fade out effect when changeing the tone of her fur. It worked great on the muzzle, but not on her chest. Her hair also lacks the contrast I would like to see. next image is going to have a slightly different shading technique used for the hair. I really enjoyed doing the clouds, they turned out very watercolor looking.
Characters on the waiting lis.
Fortune: She is an altered and renamed vertion of Jupiter. Has a younger brother named Fantom. She is a white kitsune.
Choco and Nilla have actually started to be designed!! Yay!
I really need to draw more male characters.... -puts onto list.-
And my character really needs to happen..... I hate shading white... She needs a retry.. First try on coloring her didn't work out.
Now everyone, keep purring and have your fingers or paw digits crossed.
Commissions are going to be open soon. Looking forward to that.

Projects, projects, projects...
Posted 15 years agoI have have promised myself to complete this endeavor of mine to draw a portrait of all my female character, in hope to find improvement in my work. For those who don't know me -wait that would be all of you. :p – I have a habit of being a perfectionist, and my art does not yet meet the standard I want it to. Because of this, I seek to improve with every character drawing I create. The other current focus is speed in which design work and sketches are completed in. In other words, I'm sick and tired of struggling over getting the characters body proportions right. <-.-> To rid myself of this dreaded malfunction, I have systematically planned out a way to enforce a practice regiment. Mew. Each day I sketch small characters in different poses, at least 50 of them. In this way I improve with the natural flow of my characters bodies.
Now, here is a list and description of my female characters.
*Ethalyne:
Snow leopard, you have already seen her. She has a toy boy named Chester and is a switch with a very Dominant edge.
*Willow:
Tigress. She has a mate named Chrono who is also a tiger. She is a graceful woman with a sultry attitude. She also has wings sometimes.
*Mango:
I have one of her up, but it really doesn't say much. Mango is a sweet heart submissive kitty girl that is hilarious if you find ditzy cuteness funny.
*Jupiter:
Fox/wolf.. something. She is just kinda kinky and playful.
Thystle:
Arctic fox. She is a nerdy, overly sheltered girl who is obsessed with her books. She wears black reading glasses.
And...
Me, brighty:
I am a siamese cat girl. You will get an image of me soon.. hopefully. I am really picky about portraits of myself.
