So, I have a date and time for the Independent Medical Exam mandated by the insurance company, but there's not guarantee they'll pay out after it's done. I just started going back to work last week, but it'll take some time before the money starts coming in from my job as they pay on a bi-weekly schedule. So, at this point my attorney's office has (from what I've gathered) sent out a demand letter for the insurance company to pay the lost wages by a certain date or go into arbitration. If they go to arbitration, it could take MONTHS to be paid and force me to lose my apartment. I'm still without money, save for what assistance I was given by my mom and some friends on Facebook. Even that isn't helping, as my bank has decided to continuously allow automatic withdrawals from my account and pushing me farther in the hole. Against my best interest, I have decided that unless I get told by the doctor Monday morning that I cannot work, then I will be working my tail off to bring money in. I'm just so frustrated that they stretch everything out and make me suffer financially because it'll save them a few bucks. What ever happened to taking care of your customers? To make matters worse, I have to pay a $100 deposit for my appointment Monday morning because, you guessed it, the insurance company wants to try proving this accident has nothing to do with my hip. What money I have will go towards gas in my car and food for my dogs, thankfully I can go get food stamps in a few days since I had ZERO income this month. And you wonder why people hate dealing with insurance companies...

Went to see a specialist for my hip, and after all was said and done he suggested that I just go back to my previous specialist that did my hip surgery. Now I have to wait until probably Tuesday to even find out about an appointment, which will probably be between three and four weeks out. Oh, and no pain medication to help me. So, I get to be in constant pain for the better part of two months because no one has enough gall to help me here. I'm almost tempted to go get some fucking pot to deal with it, since nothing over the counter has any affect on me at this point. Thankfully, this state has pot being legal to be smoked, but we'll see how things go.

Most of you don't know, but I was in a car accident about three weeks ago and have been in pain ever since. This is the second car accident in the last five years, which also was not my fault. It hurts when I sit, but it's the worst when I lay down to sleep on the bed. No matter the position, it just seems to get worse every night. I've tried with a pillow under my feet, under my knees, between my knees, but nothing lets me lay in a comfortable spot. The pain relievers I was prescribed do absolutely nothing, and I definitely tried upping the dosage with no effect. It's driven me to try taking different dosages of over the counter pain relievers with no effect as well. I have two orthopedic appointments, since both specialists don't have the expertise to handle all of the locations that I'm having difficulty with. While I want to find out what's wrong with me, I don't want to be out of work because I'm almost sure that I'll lose my contract position with the company I've been with for that I really enjoy. They have told me of positions here and the next state over that they want to fill as a permanent employee with the company. It kills me that both times I've been a contract employee in a position that makes me happy, and I don't want to lose this opportunity again. I really hope that things will work out for this company, the people I work with and my bosses are great. I'm just venting, since some people in my life don't fully understand that even though I have already dealt with a car accident before. I just hope that there are others out there on FA who are doing better than myself.

I'm so sick of needing help, but I don't know what else to do. I've been trying to sell things, work whatever jobs come my way, keep non-essential spending to a minimum... but it's not enough. I need $250 by noon tomorrow in order to stay in my apartment or they'll start the process of kicking me out. So, it seems as though my job market has shriveled up. I do have some work, but not until next month and I need help with paying rent and food. I made too much money to get food stamps the previous month, and could really use some help. At this point, I'm going to sell my PS3 and PS4 to whoever is interested, along with on craigslist. I'm even willing to take some commissions for stories. I don't know how I can get anything on Amazon Prime Pantry into a wish list, so I added a few things to my Amazon list that I know aren't expensive. If I knew how to add Amazon gift cards or grocery store gift cards to my list, I'd do that as well. I'll be taking donations, any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm interested in picking up DBZ Battle of Z on PS3, and found out it has four player co-op. Anyone else on here into DBZ and have a PS3 that would be up for playing it with me? If we get enough people, we could possibly play as the Ginyu Force. xD

I've been mostly unemployed off and on since getting let go from my position at my last extended contract position in May and my financial reserves are completely gone, to the point I can't even buy a bag of dog food. I have a new job starting next month, but help is needed sooner than that. If I could get any sort of help financially with keeping a roof over my head I would be in your debt. If I could draw anything better than a stick figure, I'd offer commissions. I can write, but it's been a while since I've done it and I don't think I could get a ton of stories done unless they were short stories.
