Recovering...
Posted 4 years agoI don't wanna go into too much information but I've been pretty quiet cause I distanced myself from my homophobic parents years ago, and in the last few months, I found out they got COVID and I lost my mother and abuelita. My father pulled through and recovered but our family as a whole has not been the same since and the transition between that has been rough for everybody.
I am still pretty active on telegram but sometimes I'm just not in the mood to respond or just can't find myself wanting to do things. I am starting therapy and I know i'll be okay, just need to recover in my pace that means I'm gunna be pretty AFK.

Brol the Shep's Term of Service
Posted 5 years agoThis terms of service is my declaration and intent on how I use my skills and experiences to bring you the quality that I produce, however it is also the agreeance that you understand what I am capable of and what I will not accept.
If you have any questions, you can note me!
1) I reserve the right to refuse a sale/service if I do not feel confident in accomplishing the product or feel comfortable doing said commission.
2) Payment must be received before I begin =ANY= project.
3) Please give me credit if you are going to repost.
4) You are welcome to futz around with my piece, but if you want to alter the image, I rather do it myself than watch my piece get traced, altered, etc. Im a friendly shep but understand complicated alterations could have a small fee but I will not close my door just because you had an update and wanted it acknowledge on your other art pieces!
5) If you want WIP, please let me know during the commission booking, I am very forgetful and I will sometimes finish line the project in one go without stopping!
6) Since I had been adviced on this, I only do commission for customers whose accounts are older than a week.
7) I have the rights to the art, which by accepting TOS you also are agreeing for me using it for advertising purposes and portfolio pieces as well as possible prints in the future.
8) I will only do nsfw art for persons 18 and older and have their age clearly stated on their page. I am not responsible for any minor that purchases nsfw art, and if I find out you lied about your age the art will be revoked.
9) I reserve the right to deny commissions purely of copywritten characters.
10) Under no circumstances can anything I draw, commissioned or otherwise, be used for commercial purposes. This includes character designs.
11) I do consent to my art being used/turned into telegram stickers, but please ask for this option during commission booking so I know what formats I am sending you!
12) I do consent to any wips of my work being uploaded, I only ask to be credited via FA, Twitter, etc.

There will also be additional charges or at least $5 for complex characters. Feel free to ask about this as this may or may not apply to your character. #NoteFriendly

As everybody understands, service is important to create a quality and expectation and after payment has been established, requesting for a Refund is understandable circumstance. I know what it's like to need the money back if possible and Customer Service is important. If you have an emergency or you need to withdraw your commission, please just start the conversation with me, instead of just accepting it as a loss. I am willing to put as much effort and cooperation as you, but understand depending on the level of completion of the project, I have the right to offer a compromise for partial refunds.

Personal Update
Posted 5 years agoSo it's been a good chunk of time since I kinda did anything with my self expression as a furre, as a queer male and just... me as a whole. Since the quarantine/covid19 I had more time to access who I am, what I was comfortable with and after a lot of former growth, I've gotten pretty comfortable with myself.
That being said...
I got most of my bills paid off, getting myself back on track and even splurging and getting some artwork. I've been amazingly happy with all the artists i've been working with and the pieces I've gotten. I didn't realize how exposed I got and in a public chat, I had a few randos clock me on how Brol doesn't look like a German Shepard and it really bothered me. I didn't bother at the time to catch their name and pursuant culture is just not my jam, but like it got me sad looking at all my art because of what they said and I've been stewing on this feeling. I'm really using this to kinda vent my frustration than looking for sympathy or attention.
I dunno... I've just been really frustrated about those comments and just sitting here grumpy about it. I love my shep and hell, i've even expanded and adopted some new characters comin' in. I don't regret my artwork, they are beautiful and each artist did a great job.. but it's really disappointing that a few bad vibes can kill a mood. smh. /end_rant

It's been a while...

God it's been a while. I have gotten myself quite busy lately.
I sorta took a break from FA, from a falling out and been trying to recover from that. Thankfully, Time helped heal wounds and now, things are good again!
Got a new look, a new personality and learned some lessons since then.
