Life is slowly stabilizing
Posted 15 years agoI no longer work for the crook I was with. Wolfie is, but just until I land something else. Things have finally began to smooth out a little bit as well. We now have internet at home (and phone), I got a new laptop, bills are mostly under control and we can finally breathe a bit.
This weekend is our town's Labor Day festival. Wolfie has to work during part of it, but the rest of it we'll both be working the festival. 9-11 on Sat. I have to work with the squad, and the rest of the time I'll be working for the fire department down there. I'll get as many pics as I can and get them posted.

Posted 15 years agoOk, we're broke. Most of my friends know this. We don't live paycheck to paycheck, but day-to-day. Would someone be willing to draw a sketch of my character in full turnout gear? I'd like to color it, so a pencil sketch is good. I have a pose I'd like to use for it (taken from a RL pic of me). Let me know! ^_^

Posted 15 years agoAt 3:33 PM on Saturday June 19th, 2010 at Life Gate Church in Terra Alta, WV, Ronald "BL" Packer II and Jennifer "Wolfie" Luecht were united in Holy Matrimony by Pastor Steve White. The bride was given away by Ronald Packer Sr. at the Luecht family's request (they could not be present due to health issues). The reception was held following the ceremony at the church.

Posted 16 years agoYesterday night I got pulled over for speeding (34 in a 25). I couldn't find the insurance card in the truck, so instead of ticketing me for speeding, the cop impounded the truck and cited me for driving without insurance. I was able to provide proof of insurance, so the ticket was dismissed, however, the truck is still in impound. If we don't get it by 5PM today, the fees will be fully out of reach. We need $350 ($140 a day storage...yesterday and today...and $70 tow fee) ASAP. I can pay $175 back with my paycheck on Dec 30th and pay the second $175 back on the 8th.
Without this truck, ladywolfie and I will both lose our jobs since we can't get there. She works 20 miles away and I work almost 40. We both had to call off today because of this. If you can help, please hit me on AIM or Yahoo (brnleopard) or e-mail (brownleopard at gmail.com) Thanks.

New cat and a meme...I cost $3,575 a night.

ladywolfie and I were heading to the store to get dinner, a cute white cat came right up to us. I mean like, we opened the door to the apartment and BAM he bee-lined across the street right at us. After petting and cooing at him, we walked to the truck. Guess who followed us step for step? Yep! So, we got in the truck and guess who hopped right up in the truck? Yep! The same white cat. So, we figured he was either someone's pet who got loose or a stray who is just well behaved. He is now laying beside my chair, purring happily at his new surroundings. Although he doesn't exactly want to play nice with wolfie's birds, he is getting better (with the help of a spray bottle of water). At night, he curls up in bed with us and spent most of the night pawing at wolfie's and my toes. He's a cutie.
So on to about...3AM. I wake up with excruciating pain in my tooth. I'm talking like...I was going to drive 20 miles to go to Walmart to get Orajel. I decided to just take some ibuprofen and bear the pain out until this morning when I am going to walk to the local pharmacy and get some (or some Clove Oil or Vanilla Extract, whichever the pharmacist recommends) until I can get to WVU School of Dentistry.
Laptop still hasn't sold, and I've even lowered the price to $200. Ouch. Not sure how I'm going to get this dental work paid for. Hopefully I can pick some more computer jobs up. I have one today...but it's just a motherboard replacement and XBox RRoD repair.

Posted 16 years agoAll paperwork for LLC is now done. Now for myself, my 2 business partners to sign it, and our computer shop is up and running in Ohio! I went out today and looked at a storefront, and my business partners all agree it's perfect.
Our shop will have LAN gaming, XBox 360 and PS3 tournaments, low/mid/high end computer parts (mostly looking towards the gaming crowds), networks, on-site computer repair, webhosting, custom consoles (XBox 360/PSP/PS2 and 3) and alot more!

Posted 16 years agoI've spent the last few days up at Akron Children's Hospital with the cousin of my ex-wife's while her son was in the hospital. His diagnosis: type 1 diabetes. He's 16 months old and she's a single mom. After dealing with that over the last few days, I'm kinda glad I personally don't have kids yet. I want kids one day, but at this exact moment, no. My mate has one, and that's where I draw the line for now.

Posted 16 years agoI'm finally getting back into doing digital inking. I did some and have it on my DA (will not come to FA since I don't know if the artists mind), but Ji is allowing me to color one of her pieces. Watch for it soon!
