Well, I got a new computer(a laptop) and found out that I can not connect my old school Wacom tablet to it without a ton of expensive adapters. So I've decided-being the logical equine that I am- to get a new tablet, a 200$ Wacom. ^^
the only problem? well I'm about 50$ short, so I've decided to open for sketch commissions.

Well, been a little while since I've updated my journal, I've nearly finished my conbadges, and the other commissions are coming along as well.
I've been pretty scarce here lately, haven't been working on much art and such, but that was because I was in the process of finding a car, which I did. :)

I got a 1986 Honda CR-X with only 160 000Kms on it that's only 99 390 miles. it's in awesome shape, only has a little rust on it, which I plan to fix, I'm also gonna do all the engine work with my dad, it doesn't need anything right now, but we're gonna do the timing belt and give it an oil change and probably we'll have to replace the clutch when I finished learning to drive standard :P

Such as what kinds of animals, what type of situations. Would you like to see more of any of my characters, or something new. Should I draw more hetro art, or gay stuff, or what?
Maybe fetishes that I should try, or even stuff that isn't porn(heaven forbid!) ;p

Hey, sorry I've been so reclusive lately. Had a ton of stuff happy RL.
For one, I got a job as a wrangler on a ranch in the chilcotin region of BC(aka in the middle of nowhere in the mountains ^^) for the summer. I sold my car and am looking for a new one. I gave my lovely little cockatiel away cause I can't keep her :(
oh, and I had my wisdom teeth ripped out >.> not a pleasant experiance.

Anyway, this is a post to say I'm gonna try and update a little better. If you take a peak at my JL I've started uploading all my sketches on there, as I do them. Because I have 100s of good sketches that I just don't have time to finish and I wanna share 'em. so take a look if your interested. :)

Commission have all been coming along now, just working on shading for my conbadges now, and they'll be done and sent off. Rhosted and Gypsy's commission are still in the works, but I've done some work on them. I doubt I'll be offering any sort of commissions over the summer regretably, I probably won't have any time, I'm sure the ranch 'll work me to the bone. :3 it's gonna be a good summer.

wwwwwelll, we got hit with another storm out here >.> this one took out the power and the cable(which we've gotten back now) this happened on friday night, with downpours that made midafternoon look like evening, and hurricane force winds. Our house was shaking from the winds, and my work place didn't have power until 12:30 in the afternoon(I get to work at 6am) pretty awesome stuff, I just love storms :)
Anyway, no more room for badge commissions, I may take more in the furture, but we'll see.
In other non-art related info, I backed my new mare today. By backed I mean I tacked her up, and climbed on her back for her first time ever. She was awesome, just accepted everything. It's a really kool feeling to sit on top of a horse you know has never been ridden before, and to realize that that horse trusts you enough to put up with it. She's such a sweet mare, follows me around in the paddock for cuddles. ^^

Well, I found out I have one slot left for a Conbadge. The others are all sketched up, and I'll be sending the sketches out for approval, hopefully tonight, but we'll see.
Anyway, I've been away for the last little while because our internet cable was laying across the yard. You see over here on the west coast we don't get lots of snow or cold in winter, no, instead we get crazy storms which knock out power and stuff. >.>
anyway, I got my new mare finally! ohh, I just love her, she's a little brat :P but they always are. I've started giving her a few lessons on ground manners, but mostly the weather has been keeping me in, that and the fact that I'm back to full time at Butchard Gardens. :)
Oh, and Gypsy or Roasted if you're reading this, I'm still working on your commissions, I haven't forgotten!

Alright, so I talked to the printing company today, and got everything figured out.
All of the badges will be about 4.25x5.5(give or take a 1/8 inch) they will be printed on cardstock and laminated. Shipping within North America is included in the full price, which will be 12$ USD.
The badges will be all colored on the computer, to avoid problems with the printing company.
So far I've got two people lined up, so I have 6 slots left.
To make things easy for me, I'm requesting payment before hand, and I would prefer paypal over anything else.

Well, our good quality printer which I thought was working is apparently broken, and has been for some time(I don't use it much) the only printer we have working is cheapo printer.

So that means to do conbadges I'll have to use a printing company which will bring up the price a bit. Unless the printing charges are completely outragous it'll probably be about 10$ non-laminated. I can get them laminated as well, but that will be extra, how much extra? I don't know, the offices are all closed. >>
I'll get a quote on monday. They'll be about 4x5(give or take a 1/4 inch). I won't charge any extra for shipping within North America. if you're interested and outside North America, send me a note, and I'll quote how much extra it'll be( it'll probably only be like a buck or two).
If anyones still interested, just send me a note. I don't have a ton of extra time, so I won't take anymore then eight for now.

Anyway, In other news, I'm back from my trip. A few of the highlights for me on the trip were for one, the nutcase in the plane writing messages like 'Jesus loves U' and 'Turn to Jesus' in the sky. The American who I heard remark 'Yep, they're big Kilt wearers up in Canada" *dies from laughter* I wasn't aware we all wore kilts up here. :P
And lastly, the awesome resort I stayed at. ^^ The Animal Kingdom Lodge. Where I could sit on the balcony in our room and watch all kinds of Savannah life grazing below us. Like giraffes, zebra, antelope, ostrich and warthogs ^^
Disney world was pretty fun too, it was so busy though >.>

Oh, if anyone is wondering my stance on the cub porn thing, I don't have one, I really don't care either way. I just hope a bunch of people don�t go and leave whatever the solution is, cause that would be pretty lame. X.x

Well, The Tournament was beyond awesome ^^ There were about a 100 competitors. Sadly there was only one other girl in my division. I got to the tourny at about 10am, and I wasn't on until 5:30pm >.>
So we went shopping at Gas Town in Vancouver until about 1pm. I bought a sweet ass new cowboy hat, it�s chocolate brown and leather. It�s the nicest hat I�ve ever had and it was only 60$ CND ^^ I�ll probably post pictures of it at some point. :)
Anyway, I kicked ass, I had the girl on the run almost the whole time. For every kick she threw, I threw three(Which is what my master told me to do). Sadly, two out of three of the judges were from her school, and one was only 13 years old. Both of them favored her, so I only got silver. >.>
The third judge came up to my master twice after the match and told him that I had been robbed, and that I should have gotten gold. The referee in the ring with us for the match also said that I had been robbed. And everyone that watched said the same thing. So even though I got silver I'm still pretty happy. ^^ I can't wait for the next tourny.

Oh, for some other interesting news. I spent a good 40 minutes trying to get my horse over a log on the trail today. I finally got him over it (I would have stayed there all night if I had to) but he broke my foot in the process by stepping on it then throwing all his weight on it and trying to take off. This isn't the first time he's done this, last year he broke my right (It was my left this time).
My left foot is the dominant foot I kick with, so I'm happy he broke it today, and not before the tourny.
By break I mean probably cracked/fractured/broke a bone in my foot. I won't get it checked out, most of the time little breaks like that heal on their own. the bones in your feet are small and fragile, and often get broken.

Oh, and I bought a (PRODUCT) RED iPod nano today. I ordered it online, so I should see it within the week. I'm so excited ^^

And finally for art, I haven't been doing too much, as you can see I've been pretty busy, but I'm hoping this week to get some stuff done :)

Alright, so, maybe I was a little more then a bit short of breath earlier. I ended up spending the afternoon in emergency hooked up to oxygen because my breathing had gotten really bad. They ended up shooting me up with who knows what pain killer so I could breath normally >.>
They've put me on some heavy pain killers, which luckily are not leaving me stoned outta my mind, I'm off work, riding and anything else remotely fun or active for at least the next couple days <,<
The membrane between my lungs and my ribs has become inflamed, which sometimes happens after a cold. This is very painful, and made it quite difficult to breath. it's not a major problem once the pain in under control, after a couple days it will go away and I'll be fine, the doctor thinks I'll still be able to go to my tournament on Saturday ^^ so I'm happy to take a few days off for that.

So yah, I didn't really get anything done today :P

Well I am better today, all full of piss and vinegar, ready to conquer the world. Except the tiny detail of my lungs seizing up painfully when I try anything but a shallow breath >.>
I'm not worried about it, I had this on the first day I was sick, and we went to the clinic, where the doctor told me it was nothing, just something that sometimes happens when your sick.
This does keep me from horse back riding (>.>) , and working for that matter(I work as a day custodian, always on my feet) but it doesn't keep me from playing on the computer.
For an update, I have been working on commission and not to much else lately, and by lately I mean before this week, this week I haven't done anything, so therefore, this last week has ceased to exist. it's actually still the 16th, cheers, you've all just gained 5 days.

As for other goings on, I am leaving for a vacation to Disney World with my family in mid-November, and I may be buying myself a new horse after the 3rd. I've got my eye on a cute little 15HH 4 yr old tobiano/frame mare. She's only ever been handled from the ground, so I'll be breaking her to saddle :3
Freddy, that troublesome Standardbred I had is long gone to his new home, where I hope he is being well cared for. George(my other Standardbred) and Babe(my mule) have gotten over him, George no longer stands at the fence and tried to call to Fred, and the mule never seemed to really care that he was gone(Freddy used to bully the hell outta poor Babe).

Oh yes, the sweetest deal of them all, I take my cockatiel Rumor to the vet on Tuesday(the day I came down sick) to find out that she is both severely overweight and diabetic >.> I thought she was just fluffy <.<
plus she started regurgitating all over the vet, she was so stressed out it came out her nose, so the vet has to give me some antibiotics to feed her every twelve hours for the next week, so she wouldn�t get sick from getting that crap in her nose >.>

So, not the best week for me, thank god it's almost over

next week I'm going to a TaeKwonDo sparring tournament, where we'll see whether this mule can really kick like a mule :P

Sorry about my absense lately, I got sick with who knows what and have been in bed all week. I will get to replying to comments and such in a couples days, maybe tomorow. I've had a fever and been feeling too sick to get up for a while. I'm not writing very well right now. My fever has broken, but I am really dizzy, I should be fine tomorow, until then, try to bear with me and forgive my inablility to communicate >.>
