Its been 2 weeks since the book was published!

Finally found some estimates for costs. and... well, Even though modular homes is the cheapest possible option, minimum monthly payments is roughly over $1200+ and thats not including unknown factors.

Also the $12,000 cannot be used for down payments as, legally, you cannot borrow money to pay down payments. So Im back to square one. I guess I can use it to consolidate some of my debts and buffer myself some.

Will be calling around for renting a place to live tomorrow.

So I need to make some updates about commissions.

For those who wish to commission me:

1) Do not send me the funds until after we settle on an idea and I get most of the art Done. This is due to delays caused by motivation and emotional changes and I don't want people waiting long periods of time on something they paid for, which makes things stressful.

2) Its easy to lose track of who wanted commissions. So Send me a message over on Discord at DeVoutNumelran. Anywhere else I might lose where it is.

3) I usually take these one at a time due to the first reason.

So far I am thinking of the following:
1) Buy dirt cheap land somewhere that has access to utilities after confirming with a Realtor on if I am allowed to build a modular home.
2) Finance a Modular home.

Spent all day looking at this, and as far as I can tell so far, the modular home option is cheaper than rent.

Im in a desperate situation.

A lot has been going on recently.

My dad has decided to uproot everything and bring his Gold-digger new "wife" (not even sure if they are legitimate, its likely not) to the house, who will be moving in sometime in an undefined amount of time, possibly a few months.

This is forcing me to move everything into a tiny living space of 2 bedrooms and a bathroom in a tiny part of the house while she turns the room I was using back into the "family room"

This is the same woman who got a drug addict to break into the house and shoot at me through our locked hallway door, barely missing me and mom.

She is hostile towards mom and Will find whatever excuse she can to cause problems, and Dad has already made it clear if we don't keep the house "Christian and peaceful" then he's going to "force someone to leave" implying mom.

That alone is a volatile and hostile environment to live in, with no room for privacy or space.

Now, my sister's first Ex just came by the house, who was in prison for 20 years for multiple counts of R^pe, trying to scope the house and find where my sister and her kids are. Told him I haven't been in contact with my sister in years and had no idea where she lives. He almost did not want to leave, implying I was a liar because "its family, you know where they are."

I no longer feel safe here. Never really felt safe, but now I feel I am in immediate danger and need to get out as quickly as possible.

I am currently trying to find a place to live, but if anyone can lend support, spread the word, or just... listen and not be silent, I would appreciate it.

Edit: Following the Journal update:
Took out a $12,000 loan to use primarily to pay for the Downpayments for a plot of Land, and then a modular home. As after hours of research ive Come to the conclusion a cheap land and financing a modular home is cheaper than Rent, and better to live in than a run down condemned house on the cheap.

edit 2: Modular home option is a minimum of $1000-1200 per month, not including downpayments. Also I cannot legally use the $12,000 towards any down payments. Back to square one.

Well, once again my life is going to become far more stressful, yet again.

Dad's gold-digger new wife is moving back in, with a screaming baby, a violent teenager, and the mother herself picking fights with my mom who lives in the room next over to mine.

Forced to move all my stuff (The two freezers, Fridge, our cooking supplies and portable oven, etc) into my small room. Back to not having any personal space or privacy, because Sheila (Dad's new "wife") wants to turn the front part of the house into a living space again.

And Sheila will do whatever she can to find a way to kick my mom out to the curb. Find any excuse. and that excuse is "causing trouble" enough to whine to Robert about the house not being "a good christian home" or whatever.

So not only will my own personal living space be tied to a tiny cramped bedroom thats 10x10 feet with crap taking up almost all the space available, I will have to deal with the stress of Mitigating a volatile and hostile living arrangement with the threat looming of my 62 year old mother being kicked to the streets because my dad is spineless and cruel.

Right now, my current thought process is to get a new copy of my birth certificate mailed to me, get a passport, and move to Canada to live with a friend, Since I... basically have nowhere else to go here in the states. Im trapped with almost no way out.

Not gonna lie. Days like this... its difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel and I feel like I could just drop off a cliff at any moment.

I feel a little ugly about some scenes. The act of one character in particular, being Alien and unlike most others in the story, having 2 scenes, one of eating a deer and then spitting it out later, and another eating an antagonist and spitting it out later as part of the story.

Its meant to show off his alienness. But I feel ugly about it.

I think about other books and their, quote "Naughty" Scenes, such as the Bedroom scene in twilight. (>_>)

But I dunno. How do I feel better about this without censoring what I want to express.

First draft is done at about 71000 words and 188 pages. Next step would probably be adding some padding here and there to slow down the pacing some and rewrite some inconsistencies and fix any grammar issues.

Trying to upload an art piece I got. its a .png file. However, it keeps throwing an error saying the Image type is not supported.

Who else is having this issue?

Edit: Seemed to be an issue when Discord saved it as a Web file. which failed to properly convert to a PNG. Despite saying it was a PNG, it was not actually a PNG.

Fixed by redownloading the original image.

This morning at around 4 am Someone broke into my house and was trying to get into my part of the house that was still locked. I was in front of the door with it closed and they shot a gun, which missed me by about a foot.

I don't know how to process this. I reinforced the doors and fixed the damage to my strike plate. but. I need a place to live.
