I have been doing a lot of thinking about myself. I have severe Ptsd, from childhood abuse and abuse in my adulthood. Some of my symptoms include anti-social behaviors like withdrawing from friendly outreaches, self-doubt, and feelings or]f isolation among other things. Sometimes it’s easier to overcome those things and sometimes it’s not easy, and I can’t always overcome those things. This is a big reason why I might not respond quickly or at all; I sometimes get actually fear to responding to kindness. It’s hard to accept kindness when you’ve been punished harshly for happiness before. So please don’t take my silence wrong. I am very forgetful and have a lot of brain issues. Sorry for the Art spam I just had neglected to upload to this site bc I didn’t have my life together very well or organized! So it’s Art dump time haha <3 Honestly I had a long period where I felt like I need to do more things in my physical reality to improve my circumstances which included listening to my heart about where/what I was happiest doing. It told me to take some time for myself. and I was doing irl jobs like dog sitting and grooming too. And commissions from friends of course. Luna my husky has basically helped me be able to overcome my Agoraphobia aka my fear of being outside which stems from cptsd. I adopted her from her last owners who I knew and I had wanted to take her from day one because they were neglecting her. They wanted her to ‘have puppies’ aka irresponsibly not caring for Luna’s long term health and the future outcome of those pups that were pit bull/husky mix. What was worse is they called me up to let me know they were going to take her to the pound after her litter, and they were keeping one of her pups instead. Seriously I can’t stand people who do that. Luna was very scared and depressed when I got her which I discovered was most likely because of the pair-bonding that canids do meant that she dearly missed the other dog she grew up with and had a little with. She would refuse food, hide in the closet and any dark corner and feared contact. She wouldn’t play with me with anything and just ran away. I thought she was mute at first and didn’t hear her bark or do a howl for months, which was sad and also very strange to not have a dog thst barked, until I finally heard it when it was dinner time one day. She started wagging her tail more and relaxing stretched out….. she started finally after years, she started playing fetch and other games with me. I’m glad to say she seems really happy these days, and is as vocal as most huskies, and loves to argue and play. And she’s very gentle and good with other animals, we’ve worked hard to understand why she gets anxiety and how to redirect that into a positive outlet instead of her old destructive habits of destroying furniture, cords, and personal belongings. Honestly all her ‘bad’ habits went away quickly when I got her because she was getting 0 excercise and taking out her frustration on the inside of the house. She’s helped me so much because she is a natural alarm, waking up at 6 sharp to go outside for a walk, asking for food at the exact times, and makes me feel safe outside and inside. I feel so lucky to have her. When I got Onyx as a baby I was worried about their interactions; I got her off Craigslist because I wanted a baby kitten. She was younger than I expected and I had to rush to get kitten milk replacement formula. Luna was scared of her from the beginning but incredibly gentle; uh, but more scared of her than anything x3 I mean she is a lil demonic creachur so like I get it Luna lol. Now they are buddies who hangout and play with each other. It’s pretty cool! I want to keep posting and stay up with my FA friends. Because y’all are the best. Thanks for listening or wr reading!

hellloooooooooo floks and foxex i hope everyone is having a good day and hopefully life. I'm happy to say my hands and I are doing very well, much much better, and seem to have healed quite good from my tendonitis last year!! my thumbs fingers and wrists still tire very easily, and I try and stetch everyday at least, or multiple times a day.

Also, i got a dog! Her name is Luna she is an adopted husky, from a friend who didnt walk her love her or want her around anymore after they let their dog and her have a litter of puppies. They chose to keep her unspayed for the puppies it really upset me, but she is in a place where she gets lots of love now!!!!!!. shes a totally sweetheart who LOVES running!!!!! if you would like to see her i can post pics?



I also have pics of Luna husky and of various Works In Progress on my twitter bryn_alyn :3!!!! mainly I am still working to clear out my queque from when my hands were 'broken'! XP If i have ignored your notes or comments I truly feel bad and apologize but I have extreme ADHD and remembering to reply + the fact of my injuries and life situation depressed me and made it like so impossible. In bad news, Unfortunately the man me and my SO chose to live with who was on the house lease, turned out to be absolutely terrible and malicious and stalked/watched us constantly (he would crack his door when me or my bf got home to listen into our convos) and even screamed at me when my SO wasnt around, and tried to bully and intimidate both of us. He would threaten my SO with eviction when i was not home and blackmail him into paying him money, then when i was home alone with him he would do the same thing to me. he's a malicious narcissistic, creepy violent and controlling person. it was terrible and scary to live there. the breaking point came when my SO stood up to him (Mike "Wildman" Naypaver is his name) then this man tried to attack my boyfriend, and my bf knocked him out in a punch. there was lots of our friends there who saw him attack my boyfriend unprovoked, and the guy was drunk, he kept trying to fight Jer(my SO) after coming to, and so our friends let us come to their house so we could escape him, he kept trying to call us after we left, it was like the middle of the night by this point. So our friends were like "okay you guys NEED to move hes fucking crazy. we are helping you move TOMORROW." the next day i find he rubbed our toothbrushes in shit and pissed on my fursuit head after we left. and in my dresser. i posted pictures of what he did on my instagram for the local community to know what a sick fucking creep he was. We were not on the lease which was for cheaper rent/our not good credit history(school loans fuck ya man) and wow was it a horrible gross experience. Im just glad to be out of there period.

So yes!!! This has been your seasonal update on my life!!!! I hope to hear from people even though it is sorta silly of me to wish that! please be happy and spread love and happiness folks. Ah, AND HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!! How was everyones year???? For me, this year I'm looking back on like, one really not so good year. its been a frickin rollercoaster tbh.... but here we are. we made it, I made it, and guess what? 2019 has alot coming for it, thats what..!! I've been grinding hard, disciplining and rehabilitating my mind, body and spirit to be strong and steady in the storms to come, when i wont just fear, but know I will be tossed overboard, and gravity to become my mistress.(translation; went hard on therapy and medication to help me better cope and overcome things bc life always has something in store for us GFDLKS) But I've LEARNED. SO. MUCH. And, if 2018 taught me one thing its this; I know how to take a fall now. and more importantly; i know how to get back up, and keep going. AND keep getting up, and keep trying. no matter what others think or do or say or whatever crazy shit my life has given to me.. and no one or thing can keep me down, because ive got so much to share and do and see and experience AND LOVE!! In 2018, I think i did really good and made alot of art, despite if i was hungry, or sleeping on a couch, or just, extremely depressed. and this year is going to be my own personal test, to keep climbing, push through my personal doubt, and stay on my feet and moving forward and up. and i plan on trying my goddamn hardest. //CLENCHES ANIME FIST RRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

SO YEAH!!!!!! WHATS UP GENTLEFOLKS I have some really good news: My hands are almost entirely healed!!! I've been working very hard to get them to a point where I can start drawing and using them again, and I think I'm there. It involved a lot of resting/forgiving myself for not drawing or creating, daily handstretches (would do this with some yoga or smth just to stretch it out yknow) and also a lot of relearning, because once they were healed I still had to fight my way out of artblock. BBUT HERE WE ARE!!!!! I'm bakc and I'm ready to start drawing and sharing what I create!!

AHH I'm sorry guys for being sparse here, the truth is that I've had really bad tendonitis in both of my hands, meaning drawing has been really painful these last couple months, and to heal tendonitis, i have to refrain from drawing.

Pretty much, I havent been able to properly draw without hurting myself for months and it totally sucks :( Hopefully I'll be healed soon, Ive been using wrist braces in the meantime and icing/compression/stretching exercises to try and get better, estimates say I need to rest for 6-8 weeks at least. So for anyone wondering where ive been, I've basically been chilling out and trying to focus on not drawing and finding other ways to stay sane :D But it still has me really depressed tbh.

Its my first time making a fursuit and I've been getting so inspired making it, I'm waiting for fur swatches to come in so i can choose colors <3 so thats a positive! And luckily the foam carving and taping part doesnt stress my hands too much ^w^ when i get more progress, I'll definitely post it here!!
