I have been gone for so long...

Work was ruling my life. I became a slave to the machine. My happiness was sucked out of me and I basically became a full time b***h. Just when I was ready to call it quits and even take a cut in pay, I found out I was prego. I stayed for the benefits I already had (the USA unfortunately doesn't hand you benefits like some first world countries). I took my allowed medical leave for the birth and recovery... and then never went back.

Wolfie makes enough for me to stay home and be a mom. He's so sweet and understanding of everything. How did I get so lucky?

Well, Baby D is over 18mos now, and I'm finding balance and free time again.

I found myself again. I found the reason I feel in love again. I found FA again.

I am happy again.

I got a corset last month when I was visiting Nashville! I love the feel of it, it's a wonderful all day hug :)

Here's the problem though...it's not an authentic corset. It has steel boning, but it's a cheap construction not meant for everyday wear. After only having it for a month, it is showing serious signs of wear. I really want a real one. Even a cheaper authentic one (like a $100+) would be nice until I get the cash for a custom one I can wear for years to come (start at $400).

Any suggestions/help on making a unicorn happy for Christmas? All I want for Christmas is a corset ^^

J/k! That's not all. I cried myself sick last night and I'm not exaggerating. I balanced my (negative) check book, totaled my outstanding debt thusfar, and figured my interview this morning would end in another rejection. I snapped. Tears blinding me, a throbbibg head, and a cough strong enough to keep me near a toilet.

I dragged myself out of bed at the last moment this morning, grabbed an energy drink, and headed out. Had to wait a few minutes to speak with the manager...tension building...bam! Job is mine! I'm just a waitress at a Waffle House, but hey, after 4 1/2 months of unemployment, dead ends and failed interviews its something. I'm so excited to be working for nearly nothing its ridiculous!

Its been said that getting a job is easier if you're already working...let's hope it true. I'm being considered for management at the Waffle and keeping my eyes and ears open for better careers.

I'm so happy I could pop! Wolfie would be sleepin' gooood tonight if he were home *wink wink nudge nudge* know what I mean?

Hey! Just popped in for the first time in about forever. I haven't forgotten about everyone. I really miss you guys :(

Here's what's going on.

I moved in with my wolfie the love of my life in March. Things are going swell for us. However, I lost my job at the end of April. I have been unsuccessful at finding employment. On top of the depression this is causing, we don't have an internet connection. These are the main things keeping me offline.

I'm not going to burden anyone with my crud. I just wanted to let everyone know I'm still around, I miss you, and you're always welcome to IM me.

So....last week I discovered how to use my BlackBerry as a wireless modem hehe >:)

Work at my second job has been slow, so it's nice to have internet form time to time!

I miss my time off work and my time online with everyone. Not to mention, I don't get to draw hardly at all :( I am trying though. Little by little I am getting more online and pulling out the sketchpad.

I will be moving in with my wolfie at the end of the month and starting a new job. He has internet at is place and I will be back down to working only 5 days a week again. I would love to get back to drawing and chatting!

Hope everyone is doing well in this new year and things are looking up for those that had it crummy in '09...I know it is for me :)

I really miss all you guys at FA! My internet has been down for a few months now< so its tough to find internet access between working 2 jobs and sleeping.

It's been 5 months since hubby walked out on me and I may have already found the perfect mate. Its strange. He has been a close friend for over 2 years. He never crossed any lines when we hung out or even showed interest in me. We were just the best of friends. After hubby walked, this guy was an open ear to talk to. About 3 months after hubby walked, the friend crossed that line out of the friend zone and kissed me...I felt like I had been hit by a thunderbolt. It's been sparks and fireworks ever since :)

By the time my buddy kissed me, I was past the depression and anger stages of recovery. I was healing. I was starting to believe that hubby leaving me was for the better. I was starting to find myself again. Life was good. Life is better now.

The buddy, a wolf, is amazingly loving and attentive and gentle. We have been trying so hard to take things slowly, but things are moving so fast! Please, no warning me about taking things fast, especially after a long term relationship ending. I know how it can go. But dammit, I have never been loved like this and if it ends in disaste then so be it. Everyone should experience this type of love at least once!

My wolfie is amazing and I hope to make it a lasting thing.

Honestly, I haven't been very active because of working 2 jobs. But I have a new thing holding me back...

My husband says he has fallen out of love with me and we are parting ways.

I dont' want pity/sympathy/anger/etc. I am mostly ok with it. We are (so far) remaining very good friends and we are going to do this amicably. Oddly enough, it feels like we are just breaking up, but there is this marriage thing in the way. We are going to file a "no fault" together and tie up a few loose ends. That means I'm staying in TN. We were moving to WV, remember? Well, now he's moving and I'm not. I have 2 jobs that I absolutely love and many friends here (Fal, Riko, Frocta that means many more burritos and pole-bending escapades ^^).

A small town located in south-eastern Ohio on the Ohio River. The town has a population of less than 5,000 and thus tends to be a very tight-knit place. I've decided since things are tough for everyone, I'd like to help out the little that I can. The  anti-dramallamamovement is struggling. It's been decided to put the April and May raffles together. There are furs that really need help. I mean to the point that they are losing their houses and such.

I hate to go off on a tirade, especially after having such a great day yesterday (found a schweet pic with me in it done by a favorite artist in my submissions). But seriously. Why do people do such things? Do I really need to post something at the bottom of EVERY picture asking to comment if you fav?

Also, after 2 people had faved said pic, also without commenting, I posted (in all capital letters) an edit asking people to fav from the original artist's page. What happened just hours later? Another shameless fav. Without a comment. If you are one of those people and you're reading this journal, know that I'm still totally cool with you. I just think you're giving credit in the wrong place, and it's putting me in a bad mood

Whenever I fav a pic, I try to leave a comment. Whenever I run across something I like that is not done by the artist I'm visiting, but by another, I visit the original artist's page and comment/fav. I try to be as considerate as possible, because I expect that in return.

If silliness like this continues, I'm afraid I may become disenchanted with FA like I have with so many other websites. I love this site. It seems to be drama free (in my circle anyway) and very friendly. I really feel appreciated by people here and have made some fast, but seemingly real friends.

Please don't ruin this for me, or for anyone else. Be considerate to others. You would want them to be considerate to you, right? Karma can be a bitch. Don't tease her into biting your ass!
