Well the response to my first story was quite far from overwhelming, but I'm not doing this for the kudos. I had fun writing it, which is really the point of my doing this. I'm posting the next in the series today. It's a quick one, a transition piece leading to my next work, which is shaping up to be much more substantial. Check it out and let me know what you think.
