It certainly has been some time since I was active here. I suppose I am an active lurker. I just haven't had the time to keep up with the fandom, or to write like I used to. You may see me like an artwork here and there, for those curious yes, I am still married. Yes, I am happy. We are expecting, after a decade of trying, a little boy in the spring. I am beyond excited. While time doesn't allow me to enjoy this hobby anymore, it is still something dear to me. Hope you all are doing well and have a great new year.

Life has a way of being hectic. I certainly apologize to any fans of Buck, that remain, due to my absence and lack of attentiveness in answering messages, or providing either written content or purchased content. I have reached an age where family members begin to withstand serious health conditions, where life starts taking precious people away from you.

In addition I am recovering from rotator cuff surgery. I am the weakest and most out of shape I have ever been in my life. But in a way it is a well look forward to challenge. I will be 31, I know not everyone will understand this but I want to prove to myself I can still be that person. The mountain is definitely tall, but I'll begin the climb sometime this month. I also surprised myself and got accepted to an ivy league graduate school. Mostly due to my wife, the bunny, pushing me to apply. Another challenge I'll be facing come May.

I still hope to be a bit more active on here now as things calm down and turn towards personal goals. It's hard to believe it was six years ago I shared Buck with you all.

After 20 years AIM is shutting down. I hadn't thought much of it until the other day. So many people I met on AIM. Role players, writers like myself. Many I haven't talked to or seen for years, and the likelihood of doing so now is slim. I have to say I do miss some of those friends, and some of those stories. It was a lot of fun. It was where I discovered the Furry Fandom, where Buck was first made. Much of my early adulthood revolved around it. It's a sad thing.

It's been awhile. Things certainly got hectic for me. As a result, unfortunately, my fursona suffered. While Buck the character had to be set aside for Buck, the real person. But hey, hope every one is doing well. I'm back for the foreseeable future. You'll be seeing me be a bit more active on here, and my (very very neglected) twitter.

People say marriage is hard work, that relationships are hard work. I have definitely had relationships where it felt like a job, rather than a release. So I get the statement.

But I think if marriage is hard work, you are either doing something wrong or in the wrong marriage. I was lucky enough to marry my bunny, and we've been together awhile now and I still don't see the work. It makes me realize how my other relationships were wrong, either because of the way I viewed them or because of my partner.

I still know all these guys who complain about their wives and their significant others, I just can't manage a complaint. Maybe people should settle less, and actually get what they want. I did, it just took time.

So I didn't believe in twitter, I can't fathom why someone would want up to the second updates on people. I mean I like some of the information, but then I think also it get's abused...The whole reason I bring this up is apparently there was an individual, who has been shut down, portraying me on twitter.

This isn't the first, nor will it be the last, of people doing this. At this point I don't really get that upset, it's just annoying. Like a mosquito in your car at 60mph.

 xvxcharityxvx and I have decided we want to try an anthrocon. But, as usual, we don't do anything half way. I will be going as Buck, at this stage looking at a head and gloves for the suit, as the main features of Buck are the body and I don't think a suit would do it right, and since he is based off my body, what better body to use!

Even making a head takes an extended period of time, or so I am told. I have a few fursuit makers on watch, and they appear to be quite talented at what they do. However, the issue is that Buck is not cartoony, and only a few select ones manage to make more real or adult feeling features. Unfortunately their queues are currently closed. The problem arises in that I don't have the time to watch journals to see when an artists opens up anymore, I work a lot. Working means I also have money I would like to throw at artists for pieces of both myself and  xvxcharityxvx.

A warning though, as you note in my gallery when I commission a piece and like the result I tend to commission often. I am looking for a few artists to throw my money at and if the results go well do more pieces with more money being thrown.

I apologize I have not been very active. Charity and I have been overhauling our lifestyle. I have decided I want to be one of the fittest men in the world, with an end goal of the Ironman Triathlon. Charity in the meantime has decided, I quote, "to have the best ass in the world."

As a result much of my time has been changing my diet, and training my body. I feel that it is an ambitious goal given my surgically repaired knees. But a realistic one.

For those of you who are not aware, Charity and I also are part of the D/S lifestyle. We have been married a year, and it is the happiest year of my life. I have grown quite a bit as a man, and as a dominant. I listen to the radio quite frequently of late, long drives and what not.

Summer is finally getting here, looking forward to swimming.
