Ok so here's the plan...
Posted a year agoI made that last journal around when i was about to have several days off in a row at work, then i got some super severe food poisoning on my time off so no progress was made in anything at all :) As of now I don't have concrete plans and I'm honestly in a funk when it comes to personal creativity, so I think the best thing will be just opening one com a month for now. Just enough to get some extra money but not add too much onto my workload.
I'll make a more formal post regarding things later, in the first week of February or so, but but all means send me a note if you'd like to talk about maybe getting something beforehand. To preface that though: I'll only be doing short animation loops (no climaxes, nothing thats longer than a second) and illustrations. I'll be considering other potential things, but for now that's enough.
I feel like I might need a com or 2 to shake off the dust before I can make some actually interesting YCHs and adopts. Just wanted to let yall know <333

Comeback? A ramble
Posted a year agoOr at least it WAS a ramble. I typed it all out then figured a summary would be better
Basically, my day job is great but non-profit wages are garbage! I'm hoping to make a lot of positive changes this year - investing in my career, getting a car that ISN'T older than me, improving general life quality - which will take a lot more money than I'm currently making right now. Soooo, that means I may start posting things again. Likely no commissions, but some premade things like adopts n MAYBE super simple YCHs. We'll see what I'm able to keep up with on my days off. I'll be figuring things out over the next few days so you can expect something to pop up before the end of the month. If not, you can assume I decided against it lol

Old Adopts
Posted 2 years agoAs some of you may or may not know, I'll be deleting my twitter soon cuz its a dumbass website and I hate keeping track of multiple social medias. I'm keeping my FA as a "homebase" until I decide where I'd rather post mainly long term. BUT thats besides the point. Before I delete my twit and go on hiatus to take a little break from commissions and art as whole, I wanna clear out some old designs that never sold.

Hiatus + General Updates

I've finally gotten a decent full-time job and will be starting in less than a week, so I no longer have the need (or the time) for commissions. Hope you we're able to get something while I was open! I'll be finishing up the last few owed pieces within the next month, then I'll be going on hiatus while I adapt to my new job. I'll eventually return with personal art, maybe the occasional adopt or two, but from here on out I'll no longer be taking commission work or making YCHs. To reflect this, all of my past com work has been moved to my scraps, and my gallery from here on out will only contain my personal work.
My FurAffinity is the one account that will always remain and be the main source of information about me and my art, as my twitter will likely be deleted or take on a more personal role, so stick around if you wanna see what I'll get up to in a few months or so.

Taking Commissions (+thoughts)

BUT If you like, here's a few more details.
I just graduated and I'm experiencing some INTENSE exhaustion in a lot of areas of my life. My day job has been cutting hours and I haven't been hearing back from any degree relevant applications. I really would like to do art full-time, but getting coms is hard, never a guarantee, and doing them tires me out pretty fast as well. I'd like to find a niche for myself but idk what that is! Or if its even possible.
I wanna get into 3d animation but I would want to make everything from scratch cuz I have personal tastes for animations AND models that I'd want present in my stuff. I'd also like to do more work to improve my drawing skills because frankly what I put out isn't as good as I'd like it to be. I wanna try painting more. I'd like to get paid for making the stuff that I want and stuff I'm proud of, but that would take some work to get there and it doesn't pay the bills now!
What DOES pay the bills now would be too hard on my body and leave me with no time or energy to make the stuff that I want, assuming I could even GET something full-time, which is unfortunately very unlikely.
Basically, I don't know where I'm gonna go or what I'm gonna do. I'm very very tired and would like to create, but it's very very hard to do that while having to pay thousands in rent and bills and food each month.
