As my friends already know, I often do feel a bit out of place since I'm the only otter in the group. However, that feeling only increased on Sunday when I went to the FurBQ hosted by Tony Ringtail. It seemed to me that I'm a little more unique than I thought, since there were no otter furs present there either. Needless to say, it didn't feel very good to me.

Now, I know that there are a lot of otter furs out there in the world, having seen many an FA page of them or having talked to them via IM or in chats, but I have never met one from my state/city/area. (Or so I think). I just sometimes feel like well.................. the title of my journal should give you an idea.

To my NY friends reading this , I know you think I'm an awesome guy and that I should be happy to be unique, and I do sympathize with that and I'm indeed happy. However, I just can't shake that nagging feeling sometimes. I just hope that in the future that another otter joins our group. I suppose until then......I'll gratefully be the unique one along with the other 'loners' of our group.

Well guys, as you may have guessed, I'm a writer of sorts. Therefore I've been thinking of doing some commissions involving poems for the month of February. They may or may not be love based of course. What do you all think? If I get a positive response, I'll go on with it.

Okay, I'm back on the internet, but only for limited times. I'm still jobless, since no one seems to want to hire me, and plus I'm currently angry due to events from the past. Not gonna elaborate much, but it involves one of the "dear" users of this site. Here's a hint: V. Anyway, great to be back guys. Oh, by the way, I'm no longer a dragon. After much soul searching, I changed my fursona to an otter. I won't make a seperate FA just yet though. I'll give it until I get a pic done. So again, great to be back.

Well, I'm still on the lookout for a job, but things aren't going so well for me at home. No, it's not about me coming out, but something more personal. I'm getting more and more stressed by the day living at home, so I don't think I can live there for much longer. Seeing my current situation though, I can't up and leave, so I think it's about time I found a roommate. Today, i came out to my mother about being gay. (Yes, i am gay. Mostly anyway.) Anyway, she had susopected for a long time that something was off, because I usually don't associate with anybody, and I never had a girlfriend. So, I told her the full truth. She was a bit upset at first, especially about the fact that she might never see and grandchildren from me. I assured her that even if I wasn't gay, I wouldn't want kids, and she calmed down a bit. Otherwise, she was okay with it. She still loves me as a son. Wasn't hard at all
Now for my next point. I'm not gonna be on the internet that much for a while. To all the people I've come to know and love.....don't worry. I'm still alive, just that I need to take a break for a while. i'll still try and be active as much as I can on a few sites, but otherwise I'm gonna be focusing on my real life for now. Yeah, I often think about random people all the time, and what they mean to me. Most of the times, they're friends and people I'm close to, but more rarely I think about my enemies, or rather people that aren't supposed to be such One guy in particular has been on my mind for the longest time. We used to be close friends, or something of the sort, until we had a misunderstanding and now we don't speak. I do wonder if we can bury the hatchet someday.....I'm hopeful we can. I still have his MSN and everything, but I'm afraid to talk to him.....yeah I need a boost of courage.
