Posted 9 years agoWhy is it that people can call us Christ fags and the like and bash Christianity but when you try to share Jesus' love you're an insensitive bigot who doesn't respect someone? speaking of respect, I found a person on an atheist group post a link to promote a band that made fun of Christianity in their lyrics, is that how we're going to handle things? bash eachother till both sides are blue in the face? c'mon people.

Looking for animated series' to watch.
Posted 10 years agoHey! shout-out to anime/animation fans, I'm looking for more shows to watch! any suggestions would be great.
I'm finishing up GNG Weed, I used to love Trigun and Gundam Wing, Sailor Moon and Digimon, so anything like those, especially with cool beasties and things like Princess Mononoke (I have already seen The Cat Returns, Legends from Earthsea, Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away) also, Summer Wars is one of my favorites.
Okay, that was all!

Posted 10 years agoCy was created and named during a very tumultuous time in my life. This character represented things that I am either no longer facing or have gained a better understanding of and this new perspective gave way to a personal need to change her name to something representing a less angst-ridden me and something that expresses what she means to me now.
I chose the name “Leviah”. It’s a Hebrew name that I feel connects her to my faith and suits her far better. It simply means “Lioness of the Lord”.

Posted 10 years agoI've got two commissions and a trade I'm waiting on and then I'm outta here. It's time for me to move on, I keep trying to find my way back in to the furry fandom and I just don't fit in here. I will be making bios and references for all of my characters because I still want to commission people for artwork of them but I just wanted to post an update before I drop off the face of the earth.

Posted 10 years agoI have been feeling more and more disconnected from the furry fandom in the last few years and have become increasingly uncomfortable with calling myself a "furry" due to the extreme level of fetish artwork and staggering amount of flame wars and a general feeling of discomfort about the whole thing. It's the atmosphere that I just don't enjoy. I've gone back and forth for a long, long time but have decided to leave the furry fandom as I don't feel it represents what I stand for artistically and personally in my walk in life.

oh, I'm sure there's more than that, but now most are dwindling or totally dysfunct now as other sites have gained popularity. We have even more places to choose from now and I feel a little more than spread thin trying to reach out to a community that used to be so incredibly approachable and welcoming. I miss the close friendships, the trades and gift art, the thoughtful comments people like Ganren left (I miss him, anyone heard from him at all? tell him I miss him and our nice talks ;.; )
So... I'm reaching out if anyone cares to reach back. We're more connected to our electronics than when we were younger and yet fewer take the time to comment and uplift one another than ever.
