I have been a bit MIA with life (as usual) but I am not gone! I check in occasionally.

And I want to thank all of my new watchers! I don't know where the surge came from, but I appreciate the interest. I will try to begin posting more once I create the new account. I haven't thought much about a name, so I'll do that now and update with the account ;;

I'm looking to commission an artist who can do a facial expression sheet of Hok, my sona. Of course I will need someone who is competent in working with her features and is also confident in their ability to translate believable expressions. If you or someone you know would fit this description, please comment!

I plan to move to a new account soon -- mostly for a new name, but also to drop all the inactive watchers and start fresh.

I will move my main pieces, and perhaps scrap everything here. I haven't quite decided on a name yet as I really like my dA name, but don't want the same moniker for here. Keep posted for updates.

My parrot recently passed in a tragic scenario. We printed his foot prints and I thought of tattooing them on my right shoulder, in remembrance of where he would sit and sleep all day. I mentioned it to a friend and she told me it was morbid. Is it morbid? I want something personalized in memory of him, but I don't want some creepy or strange tattoo either.

Whew, okay, so! Calling all hoof-drawing people! As a gift to myself for my birthday coming up in 28 days, I have decided that I'll commission someone to draw Hok! I haven't decided if feral or anthro yet [I need to whip up an up to date sheet of her feral, simplified].

I am waiting for my points to be refunded back from someone I previously com'd an icon from who..never did it, so we'll see about throwing a few points around at dA if that interests anyone. Okay guys, don't hit me. I was just thinking while I browsed how nice it would be to just be able to go through a gallery and pick out clothes/accessories/items for my characters because I want something for Hok but am too lazy atm. And then my light bulb went off.

What would you guys think of like a pre-made store for your characters? Like clothing designs for quads and anthros o: And little accessories and trinkets! Maybe even tack for your mount characters or horses. Both in money/point/trade for. I'd be totally cool with cheap prices [like $3-5] or points [if you're on dA] on the smaller ones. Or if you have something to barter with [like other items, neat little things, clothes, maybe an adoptable, whatever!] I may take that as well!

I may also do customs if anyone is interested! If enough people are I'll make bases for quads and anthros and design on them, or for customs, I am willing to take a pic you have done of your char and just draw it on top of it.

It would be a short while until I am able to get enough items for it to be up and running, so feel free to throw me some ideas!

To be clear, everything would be posted via dA in an account based solely for the store! I would be posting updates here for those interested who don't have a dA.

While I was editing a com, I began to wonder, how long is reasonable to wait for a commission? One that is paid up front, as that's the only way I work. I can't bear the thought of sending someone a sketch to approve for payment, and then never getting paid while they parade around with a free sketch. I've worked long enough and consistently enough to build a trustworthy rep about putting out commissions, and I think personally that I've earned the right to ask up front so not to be jipped, as I never crossed a commissioner either.

But, as I usually do 6-8 coms at a time, and in no order other than what I think I can finish them the fastest, some people may wait upward of a month while others only wait a week, if that. Does that ever bug you guys? And what's reasonable to wait?

This is especially thrown out to those I owe a com to right now! That way I can better manage my list to suit you guys. Do my daily com status updates help any? I notice a few return commissioners check my page weekly to see their statuses so I assume a few people appreciate it, and perhaps that's why no one ever bugs me because they already know the status of their com(s). I actually also put in my TOS that I work multiple pics and I do not promise a waiting period/I'm usually really up front to new commissioners about the wait also. I don't mention it to return commissioners because they already know my process c:

I have to say I have been lucky to have really patient commissioners so far, and I've actually never been nagged to finish anything or asked how things are coming [other than friendly updates and conversation on larger images, to which I usually always post WIPs to let people know I am working].

We paid half of the $500 this afternoon, and I JUST reached my goal moments ago for the other $250!!! In fact, I made it and was $19 over!! I am SO SO thankful for everyone who has donated, commissioned, bought my characters, and advertized my dilemma! I have a renewed faith in people and I just can't believe the generosity of everyone involved, most of you whom are total strangers to me!

$15 - Sketch [+$5 per char]

$18 - Colored sketch [+$9 per char]

$23 - Colored/shaded sketch [+$10 per char]

$20 - Outline [+$10 per char]

$23 - Colored outline [+$10 per char]

$28 - Colored/shaded outline [+$15 per char]

$20 - Design commissions; standard is a sketch and flat color

$45 to $55* - Ref sheets [standard - front, back, bust, text]


*Complicated designs may cost more. I will add it in to your quote when we exchange info.

<b>Note!</b> Large commissions -- coms with backgrounds or those with 3+ characters -- are closed. If you'd like any other com, note or comment and I'll quote you/exchange info! If you're unsure if I will accept a commission, please ask!

<b>Terms of Service: </b>
Since I do multiple commissions at a time and slots are always full, <b>I'm not promising the time it takes to complete a com.</b> Some may be a couple days, some may be upward of a month or two. I don't do coms in the order they were taken, but in the order I feel like doing them or the order I think I can get them out the fastest. The speed depends on my health and my work, as I also work a full time job and have real life issues as well.

If you're unhappy with your commission, I will adjust particular elements you find unappealing for free. If I design a character and you're not satisfied, I will redo them once for you. If you have any other problems, just alert me and I will try to make both parties happy.

If at any time you want a refund of money, note me and I will gladly refund if I have not started your com. If it's started, I'll deduct the amount I think I have earned from working on it. If you pay me the amount, and a fee is taken out, I am not responsible for refunding that as I was not paid that either. I would prefer coms to be paid including the fee.

I retain the right to post any of my commissioned work in my galleries unless otherwise stated, i.e. private coms, in which I can simply e-mail them to you.

I WILL do:
Pin-ups, tasteful nudity, ferals, anthros, any species, or creatures. I will work from text, but I cannot guarantee how correct it will be based on your words. Props [chairs, etc] which may be free.

I will NOT do:
People or taurs [may do exceptions], mecha on a large scale, fan characters, MLP, gore, major fetish.
