A little while ago I got 100 watchers 100 followers on twitter! I never acknowledged it though, I wanted to wait until I got a little above 100 and just ended up forgetting to say anything. I figured I should do something so I decided a qna could be fun. You can ask my characters like Butter and his family or Glutt about interests or whatever. Or you can even ask me a question about myself. I’ll probably do some simple drawings of characters answering questions but it won’t be anything crazy. And it’s not a guarantee that I’ll make a drawing for every question, but I will try to respond to every question.

I made a Weasyl account I might start uploading to, but it’s not yet verified. So if one of you has a verified account already could you please verify me. My username is Buttermoth3. You can also find it on my user profile.

I wanted to do a better job at describing how Butter acts since I felt I have developed him more but haven’t shown it all in drawings yet. So I made this journal to better describe how he behaves, I’ll also add these to his reference


[Butter will downplay his weight/size when teased about it]

Butter would try to downplay it to try and get them to stop. He’d nervously say something like, “I’m not that big! It’s just my fur that makes me look this big!” If they teased him about eating so much he’d nervously say something like, “I skipped breakfast so I’m just really hungry.” Or, “They were on sale so I bought a bunch without realizing it and don’t want to throw them out.” He of course doesn’t believe any of these excuses himself he knows he’s way too big and fat, but he hopes these flimsy excuses will somehow make whoever is teasing him stop.


[Butter is easily embarrassed]

This sort of goes with the previous one but I figured I’d make it it’s own. Even if nobody is teasing him about his weight he can still feel very embarrassed when it causes a scene. If he gets stuck in a doorway, breaks chair, or takes on some food challenge at a restaurant unknowingly and demolishes the record he’ll be blushing in embarrassment while trying to downplay the situation.


[Butter is not obsessed with light]

Everybody knows the whole “moth obsessed with light” thing, so it might surprise you that I’ve never used that. Honestly I just don’t care for it. I felt including it would just be because it’s the norm, not because I actually wanted to. That’s why Butter or his parents don’t have that.

[Butter is obsessed with desserts]

While I might have just said Butter doesn’t have any obsession with light, desserts and pretty much anything sugary might as well be his light. Butter can be easily distracted with desserts. Someone could tease him about his weight making him embarrassed, but if they give something sweet he will immediately forget about everything else in the moment and just eat the food. It’s hard to get his attention while eating. While teasing him usually makes him embarrassed, when he’s eating it’s just in one ear out the other for him.

While he is obsessed with desserts it’s not like he has zero self control around them. He can walk into a bakery and not eat everything. Though if there is no one is around to judge him or he is being heavily encouraged to keep eating he will gladly do so. Even if he’s so full he feels like he’s about to burst, he’ll eat until he can’t swallow another bite if will make him feel embarrassed for doing so.


[Butter is not dumb]

With how easily obsessed with food Butter can be and the fact that he lives with his parents it could easily be misunderstood as stupid or a child but those aren’t true. While he’s by no means a genius he is an adult who is capable of taking care of himself and living on his own. He stays with his parents because his mom doesn’t want him to leave and he loves her cooking so he sees no point in leaving if he doesn’t have to.


[Butter can’t fly]
Due to his massive size and weight he is incapable of flying. He is not even close to being able to fly. Even if he lost half his weight he still wouldn’t be able to fly.


[Butter is not in very bad health]

With Butter being absolutely massive you’d think he’d be almost dead but no he’s in decent health. His only real health issues are he gets easily exhausted from having to carry all that weight on his legs while waddling, and he has a high heart rate. But honestly his health issues never really cause any problems for him

A friend of mine has revealed he has been lying about his age and is a minor. I don’t like to delete old work but I feel wrong having characters owned by a minor in fetish scenarios.

Usually I only occasionally do requests for friends and art trades with people I reach out to but I wanted to open up a bit more for art trades.

Requests: It really comes down to if I like the character and the scenario you want drawn. I still only draw for fun, if it’s a character I have no interest in then I won’t want to draw them. So most likely I won’t have any interest if you just say “Can you draw my oc really fat.”

Art trades: feel free to message me and if I like your art style, I’ll glady do a trade! Though understand some days I’m pretty busy so it could be a couple days before I even start drawing.

I’ve wanted to start officially accepting trades for a bit but was hesitant because I was worried about hurting the feelings of people if I didn’t want to do one with them. So please understand if I don’t have an interest in accepting a trade with you, it’s not me saying you’re a bad artist. I’m just not interested in your art style.

Also some things I should mention about what I am ok/not ok with drawing:

Do:
Fat/ inflation are what I’m best at so I can guarantee the best of my ability with those!

I haven’t done muscle stuff but I’d be fine with trying, just keep in mind I’ve never done it before so I can’t guarantee it’ll turn out amazing. I’m sure there’s other stuff I’d be willing to try that I just can’t think of right now so feel free to ask me if it’s not on the don’ts list

These don’ts are just a list of things I’m uncomfortable with drawing not things I think are morally wrong. I draw fetishized animals really fat so trying to act like I’m morally superior to others who are into these things feels stupid. As long as you aren’t harming real people and animals do what makes you happy.

For all my previous drawings I was using my phone for drawing. I’m sure you can imagine how annoying it is to draw on such a tiny screen. I decided to get an IPad to fix that. Obviously I won’t pretend like the fact that I was using a phone made my art so basic. But now it is so much easier to draw. I have a feeling I will be more motivated to actually draw more and therefore improve. I don’t want to make any promises but I might be posting more art now.

Dragoneer the owner of Furaffinity has unfortunately passed away. I wanted to make this journal to thank him for everything he’s done. While this account may only be a couple months old I’ve used this site for years. I was ashamed of being a furry but through seeing how amazing this community it is I eventually learned to accept who I am and even more recently start actually interacting with the community. While I’m still an introvert who has trouble being the first to reach out to people, I’m glad to have made an effort to start. Without Furaffinity I would probably still be ashamed of myself and have a worse life because of it. Thank you Dragoneer, because of your amazing site and the community you helped create I am in a much better place. May you rest in peace.
