Bernie's Big Bust
General | Posted 2 years ago"I can't just sit here and do nothing! I gotta do something. Something that doesn't involve fighting....." Bernie, a Lax natured Electivire, got out of his room to save a lone Croconaw taken by a horde of Machoke. "Hey, you! Release the Croconaw. Now!" He called out. When the Machoke refused, Bernie used Psychic to grab the little Water-type. "Hey, that's our hostage," one of the Machoke said. "That brat is gonna ruin our plan!"
"Get him!" The second shouted. The Machoke goons went after Bernie after rescuing the Croconaw. "Stay back, you goons!" The Croconaw shot Water Gun from his mouth to attack the foes. They fell back and retreated. "You'll regret this!" One of the Machoke shouted.
"That was close. You alright, lil' fella?" Bernie asked.
"Thanks for saving me. Never expected an Electivire to appear. What's your name?" Asked the Croconaw.
"I'm Bernie. Nice to meet you. And your name?"
"My name is Ricky. Thanks to you, I can go back home. My mom and dad are worried about me," replied Ricky. After the ordeal, Bernie took Ricky home to his parents. 2 Feraligatr are overjoyed to see their son back safe and sound. They thanked Bernie for the rescue. Once Bernie returns home, he was called out by his 2 brothers, Benny and Billy. Bernie was grounded after his nihilistic attitude at school. "Call me out all you want, dorks," he said. "I did what had to be done." He's not a child, but seeing others in dire straits makes him angry. To him, rescuing Ricky from the Machoke made him feel good.
