Incoming sketch stuff

Trying to get back into it all again, a little more seriously this time since I've actually had the time for it recently, there's nine of em so far, but I still gotta figure out why some of em are uploading sideways at the moment before they can really be uploaded

possibly opening up more request slots after I get the digitals done for the ones I really liked of the sketches so far, I kinda wanna try my hand at seeing how I handle 'commission style' specific requests (I.E, character, pose / idea for what's happening more than just 'here's a character, do what ya will', since my brain just wants to give them a sword and yell ZELDA), but I dunno yet, still kinda getting back into everything at the moment

I'd still rather be taking sketches and just doing the ink and color on em <<

Trying to get back into doodling an stoofs again, looking for some inspiration or...something, i dunno, something to get the creative juices going again really, be it some good linework to ink an color, a good suggestion to catch interest, or some sort of collab

I'm honestly really missing doing the doodle stuff these days, and kinda looking for ideas right now

Been awhile since I've updated this thing, so I figured it was time for an update and of course an annual journal that I hope I'll be making a little more than 'annual'

Started doing some request stuff to try to get back into doodling and inking and whatnot, might start up a set on here instead of just on TR just for a little bit of variety, but not sure how many people I know on here anymore, seems like I've kinda dropped completely off the radar. However, if anyone has any good linework for coloring, I might consider that, that's something I always love doing since I don't have to get frustrated with myself for not being able to get structure an all that right

so...i've come to the conclusion, microsoft's officially shot itself in the foot with this Xbox One bullshit...I don't think I've found a single article that shed even a little bit of good light on the Xbox's next gen platform, aside of course, for the selection of games, and even that's getting more and more third party titles, which means multi platform availablity...it's gonna be interesting to see how they try to redeem themselves after the slaughter at E3

in the meantime, I've already got my pre-order in for the PS4, and I'm -really- excited to get my hands on sonys next gen

I know, I'm a little late on the journal for christmas, but hey, christmas for me was actually about two weeks before christmas, so nyahhh XP

also, in other news, December has been a busy month for me, part of the reasoning behind why I haven't done a traditional Christmas picture (maybe I'll get something up after or around new years instead) and in part due to my having caved and asked for an Xbox for christmas for those that might've noticed my updated master gaming list now includes a handful of 360 titles, including all three GoW games and a couple Halo games

Please, don't ask if I play BattleField (1,2 or 3), Modern Warfare (1, 2 or 3) or black ops (II is still up in the air if they make a come back and actually pull a story out their ass), I despise everything those games stand for in what multiplayer gaming has become, I'll play pretty much anything else, I'm a player for story, not glorified 'teams' in an all out killfest that the entire game is structured around with nothing but a hair thin story to make it a 'game', not to mention the majority of the players maturity level that play online. I'll look at MMO's, but it's not likely I'll pick it up, I'm not big into the clusterfuck those games frequently turn into. I play Scifi adventure games more often than not, heavy scifi catches my attention more than most, I'm not big into sky rim, but I do like the fallout games. Heya all you peeps out there, some of y'all might have noticed the couple new pieces up recently, finally managing to get some work in edgewise with how crazy lifes been lately (Finally made it to my duty station for those of you that were following that at all, woo new york...) anyway, trying to get back in the groove and get a little bit more confidence in my own drawing back ^^; long story, don't ask, so I'm opening Requests and Trades, the later preferably would be awesome just for the sake of it XP But I'm happy with either, I seem to have an easier time with drawing someone else's character than my own perfectionist ideas that I can't yet achieve and keep wanting to put a pen though my hand fer failing at...err...yeah..<< anyway, I'll start it off with five slots to whoever wants them for character sketches (See the last few I did as an example), all I ask is that you keep it tasteful and not stupidly complex ^^ that is all, first five get em, we'll see where it goes from there, if I get enough interest I'll bump up the number of slots ^^

nah, but unfortunately, my training has somewhat gotten in the way of my having time to really work on my art, I get a paper sketch in now and again, but rarely anything worth taking the time to scan in...the fact that I barely have internet, or a tablet, really doesn't help all that much. I switched duty stations after getting C130 AirFramer, which is AWESOME by the way, and left my intuos tablet at home, simply taking my bamboo for convience and size....which turned out to be a horrible mistake as I found out about a week ago when I tried to do some linework with the thing...and it's got built in penflicks or some shit, not to mention I can't get the pressure sensors to work, if there are any...I turned off the touch portion, but it's still driving me crazy...either way, it's not suited for what I need it for, it's a fun toy, but that's about the extent of it...

I'm trying to either get my intuos sent to me, or hopefully dropped off when my parents head out this way next week. I'm trying ta be back in business at least a bit within a week or two I'm hoping.

for those of you that don't know what a C130 are, they're the big cargo haulers that fly EVERYWHERE, carry troops, supplies, do in-air refuels, bombing runs. a lot of fun shit XP my job, will become one of the mechs working to maintain however many are on the base I'm stationed on once I get out of here, out of a total of 40 some odd C130s TOTAL in the entire Marine Corps...yeah, there ain't many XP

somehow, the closest I've been to an actual c130 thusfar...is the trainer, which frankly, looks realllllly silly with how the cut sections away to fit it into a smaller hanger for simulations

yeah...I don't actually know what to say here otherwise...I just wanted to get that obnoxious old journal off my page XP

and so ANOTHER month goes by without any posts..kinda sad ain't it...well, that'll be ending soon enough! my tablet is on it's way, and with this powerful new Vaio I picked up last weekend, I'll be up and running shop like normal in no time at all! I can't even begin to describe how much I've missed my tablet and camera all these months I've been gone...it's like...losing an arm...and having to rely on a less than perfect back up to simply get you by...

Anyway! I officially have both a laptop and internet access in my room at last! not to mention I'm the network controller on top of it! and this internet is fast as FUCK! no more trying and failing to post bad shit from my iPhone anymore! I don't think I can think of anything better at the moment!

all I've got left to do now, it install iTunes, import my iPod, and see if I can't run LS on this bitch! Ha! for now though, I think I'm gonna take a nap since my tablets not even here yet, and I'm sore everywhere, and covered in welts from paintball...it doesn't help that my policy on paintball is, "If it doesn't hurt, you're doing it wrong" XP shit, PAIN is in the name of the game! PAINtball! it's like...Pain t-ball! can you imagine that? t ball with paintball guns...how would you even play that? give the fielders guns and let tehm defend their bases? ROFL! and force the batter to have to assault the base to capture it before he can attack the next one! eventually making it 'around the world' and back home after 'conquering' the diamond! ROFL

As of now, I have officially completed my basic training to become a united states Marine! As I speak...err, type, I'm just getting ready to head to the airport to go to my A school( I think it 'a' anyway) from MCT training! in other news! I've finally finished my first years of college...I SURVIVED! W00T! X3 courses are over and DONE! and thankfully, I'm not doing summer classes this year...they didn't have the one I wanted anyway, so I ain't really complaining X3 now I got allllll kinds free time...I am SO freaking BORED...ALREADY...ugh. maybe I can finally get more than char sketches done for that comic I want to write, got enough time for sure...

more news! this is probably something most wouldn't have seen coming, maybe the people who I've talked to...it's something that I've given thought to for a long time, and I finally decided to move on it about three weeks ago. I have decided to Join the Marines. as of two weeks ago tuesday, I'm officially enlisted for the United States Marine Corps. sadly, cause it's the marines, the ship date is nearly a full year off unless I get the opt in for the smoke jump, but I'm not sure how big of a chance that is at the moment since there's like, at least fifteen guys in front of me for that...but! it'l give me time to get ready and everything...poolie training is hard as fucking hell...and I LOVE IT! X3 I haven't had that kinda workout since Crew! made me realize how long it'd actually been since I actually did a decent workout. OO-RAH BABY!

well, that's outta the way, My final photo project went great too, actually got to exhibit four of the photos in a gallery downtown, that was AWESOME.[You FA people probably didn't hear about this unless you watch me on DA as well] I actually had people say it would be something they'd want to buy...but I marked them NFS. I gave them as gifts and have to make more prints of them now cause I have people that wanted copies, and they apparently make good gifts...shoulda thought of that sooner, people seem to like getting photos as gifts, and the things are damn cheap to make X3

Dunno just yet what it is I'mma gonna be doing, it's up in the air as to whether it should be a scratch piece( I work from the ground up through coloring) or try my hand at speed painting...which won't actually be all that speedy since I have no idea what I'm doing there X3 if only FA did a polling system...
