Hello my lovely fuzzies!
Damn I haven't updated FA journal for a year lol.

Today I decide to update a little bit about how my life is, if you are curious ofc. I've always really like and respect my FurAffinity audience, and I wanna share things when I can.
Reason for today's update? in case if I don't post art anymore, then you know why (pfff I don't really upload art frequently anway XD)

I'm switching my career from art/graphic into health care.
Graphic jobs in my area are unstable and AI bs causing chaos everywhere, I don't feel comfortable making money with art anymore.
I've been working at a hospital for 2 years now and I feel a motivation to get further into this field.
And so, 4 weeks ago I started school to become a radiographer. Classes have been rough and fast for me, because studying at 30 years old seems like a little late, but better now than later i guess lol. English is my second language, so I need to try harder than the others.
Despite the struggle, I feel like I'm going in the right path. I’ll finish 2 years of school, then get my license, and become a rad tech!
Then I'll be able to make stable money, I could go commission a bunch of artists and fursuit makers Mwahahahahah

For now tho, I won't be able to take art commission anymore. I know school will drain all of my brain cell, and I can't afford to draw.
I really hope to wip up some adoptable occasionally, simple YCH, or personal art for fun.
I'll try to learn to manage my schedule better to find time to draw furry stuffs, it's still one of my favorite things to do.

OH I've also been VERY into making plushie. I'd love to be experienced at making fursona plushie, I've made a few for closed friends ^^ it's super fun.
Maybe I'll take fursona plushie commission when I feel comfortable enough hehe. I uploaded some plushies that I made on Twitter (fuck X, it's Twitter) so take a look at my Twitter if you are curious.

Hmmmm I think that's it for my update. I wanna thank you guys for supporting my art for 13 years.
I enjoy reading the awesome comments, checking my fav counts, watcher counts, and I definitely appreciate all of the commissions I got to work on, those helped me learn and improved myself a lot.
OOH ALSO, repeated clients, THANK YOU SO MUCH! It's always an honor to be able to draw multiple times for you.
I really like the furry fandom, it's a nice friendly and supportive tight knit community when you find your friend circle.
I want to attend more furry conventions, wear my fursuit, meet other furries and see friends that I've never gotten the chance to meet in person, that would be cool :3

2020 is here! Time flies, it still feels unbelievable to me. We are already stepping in a new decade.
Many big things happened to me in the past couple years.
The biggest thing for me is probably I got married. (I have never expected myself to get into this situation, but it happened, and it was beautiful, never underestimate life or yourself!)
I'm slowly moving into the US with my wonderful husband. It was a rocky road, but the happiness and experience I got is priceless, I'd do it again.

We also adopted a dog (looks like a blue heeler border collie mix) from a shelter, she's 3 yo and we named her Lady!
I've always love dogs and wanted to have a dog when I was still in Vietnam, but my family didn't allow due to environmental and work schedule reasons (which is reasonable, I never hate my family for it)
Now we have a dog and I love her and love spoiling her! :D

I'm looking forward to build a new life in this country, I'm learning a lot of things about American culture already.
One of the most funny things that my husband and his friends first introduced to me about America is Twinkies, and then Little Debbie XD. They said "You gotta eat it! It's so unhealthy!"
If you have more American things to introduce to me, I'm willing to listen! hehehe

I have to send a special thank to everyone in the furry community, for being very supportive to my art, and being kind to me. I wouldn't have made it to this level of art if it wasn't for you all.
Some people doesn't like FA platform very much, but I will always stay on here (unless they shut down for whatever reason).
This is my first furry platform that I first got into, so I treasure the first memory very much. (I do have other social media links, you can check them out on my front page)

I have all of that at the moment!!!
I never rant on FA but that record is now broken.
My ability to remain mature as an adult is just GONE!
I am falling apart and for the first time ever, I thought of hurting myself
just so the physical pain would distract me from this mental mess.
But that thought only occur for 5 seconds and I was scared of my own head, it’s a sign of losing control.

Quick review: 2015 was pretty rad, I think I had all kinds of expressions: from the most intense to the most bored moment, the angriest to the happiest, the most tired to the most motivated. Any regret? None. I also got many things, I got a full time job, I got a new bike, I got wasted more often, I got more weights, I GOT A FURSUIT from the talented Kibawolf, only partial so far but do hope to develop my heat endurance to a level of "full-suit" one day lol. I wanna thank all of my past commissioners who have commissioned me. The funds I have earned from making art for the furry community, I devote/spend them all to this furry lifestyle.

Hi all, shibi here, I'm curious to know what are your thoughts about it

Most people identify fursona as themselves or an alternative self, this is not a definition for me though. I have a bunch of characters and each of them certainly has some feature(s) of my own, but it doesn't feel suitable to call myself as one of my characters (plus I have so many of them lol)
My characters are simply creations from mind to satisfy my visual preference and taste, or to create good stories.
I would feel more comfortable if people see myself as the creator of a certain character, like "Oh, she's the person who made Graffiti rabbit!" rather than "Oh she's the white rabbit with the X mark!".
But it's also not a bad thing, i wouldn't get anxiety or anything if you see me as my characters better X-) it's all cool, they came to the world from my mind and it's super awesome to have them well known, they have more visuals than my face (better) afterall hehe
