Still Alive + Moved Accounts
Posted 3 years agoHey y'all. It's been a long time. I'm going to keep it brief... as brief as I can, anyway, lmfao.
These have been a busy few years! Moved twice, been doing freelance full-time for a long while... Got back into D&D for the first time in years! Admittedly, though, things got really not good for me at around the end of 2017, going into 2018, and it hasn't really let up since. Most recently, though I'm sorry to overshare a little, in September of this past year, my little sister was nearly murdered and then I lost my dad to Covid just a couple of weeks later, and that whole series of events just sort of laid me out in all ways that it could lay me out.
Despite all of the stress, though, and the mourning, I'm still alive! Barely, but it counts, haha.
I have a lot of fond memories tied up to this account, but a lot of very not good memories, too, and so to that end, I'm finally letting this account go, starting clean, and moving accounts. Or, rather, I've already moved accounts--I've just not uploaded anything or made an announcement here. I debated making this journal and letting this account just decay in peace, but I figured if there's even one person who got curious or worried about where I've been these past... [checks notes] three to four years, I may as well make the post.

Frankly, I'm not sure how often I'll post on the new account, but I've got it set up for the day I get the inspiration to post again, all nice and pretty and waiting. I'm mostly on twitter nowadays, though with everything that's happened and where my mental health is at, I'm barely there too. Still, if you're curious, my main twitter is CaariOsamu, and my art twitter is RedRosesRot. I have a Discord server where I host my art, too, and I may be willing to give the link to those who ask, but I may also log out of here and forget to check back in for another three years, so sorry in advanced!
I hope you all have had a peaceful few years, as best as you can have in the current circumstances, and I hope you continue to have happy, peaceful lives. Even if you're really confused rn about who tf is in your notifs, or even if we've had bad blood in the past--most especially, I wish you well on your journeys.

I'm thinking of doing a PWYW sketch stream in a few days, and also thinking of doing winter/holiday themed YCHs! Or other YCHs, like. Butts. What would you all like to see? c: Candy canes, snow globes... festive gore? That might be interesting. Posted 8 years agoI am finally moved into my new apartment! ;w; I owe a massive thank you to those who donated to me over a week ago--I cannot overstate how much that touched and helped me so much. I got the bills paid and got food, and I'm already in a much better place thanks to your all's kindness. Thank you so much.
I am getting settled in now, and am slowly returning to work! Now that I'm able to access the internet and my trello again, I should be able to start knocking them out left and right. And I will be able to start doing PWYW sketch streams again!

IMPORTANT Comm Status + Help needed
Posted 8 years agoSome of you may be familiar with my current situation, but most of you may not be, so to quickly catch you up to speed:
Since my lease ended in June, I have been rooming with a family member while preparing to move into a new place shortly (and having preparations fall through, so preparing new plans). The tl;dr her and her bf's financial situation is a horrific mess and they have cost me...a lot. Far more than I was even making in revenue each month, and even still, they are so far behind in bills, I'm not sure they'll ever come up completely.
This has meant, too, about a month ago, the access to the internet has been severely restricted at home, due to them not paying the bill for idk how long. Getting access to public wifi is near impossible for me for transportation reasons, but I managed to make due.
Until yesterday.
The internet, which was already mostly gone for the past month, has now completely been cut off, which is stressful enough as is. But it has made doing my work completely impossible and I have a bill due tomorrow that I'm already woefully short for, and I'm doing my very best not to panic but the ever-encroaching fear of debt and overdrafting into more debt is Real right now, on top of having no money for food.
The problem on top of that being, while I've got mobile, my phone is old and it is impossible to solicit for/post commissions etc/use my phone for references without it dying super fast. (and my charger is half dead also, which further complicates it)
It's a lot right now. So I offer my sincerest apologies on being EXTRA slow on commissions.
I'm supposed to be moving into the new apartment sometime this week, but in the meantime, I am extremely restricted as to what I can do, and also in a rather desperate financial situation.

Stardragons are introducing a new MYO event here at the end of September and into October, as well as a month long celebration in the spirit of Halloween!!
From October 1-10, common MYO slots will be open for purchase!
There will also be a costume design, scary story writing, and worldbuilding talent shows, with entry earning you a ticket in the new Upgrade System raffle!

Posted 8 years agoIt came to my attention the other night that some people are having issues viewing my work trello, so I wanted to let everyone know what's where!
My current priorities are finishing the lingerie YCH pieces that were ordered in June--during my move--and the sketch pieces from the PWYW stream, since those will be knocked out quickly. Everything is, however, still being worked on! If you can't see my trello, I keep meticulous track of the pieces I take on, so that you will not be forgotten or left out, and thank you all so much for your patience with me all the same! Between the move and other issues that have cropped up health-wise, everything's been so hectic, but your patience has been greatly appreciated and extremely valuable in these trying times. ;v;
I am also waiting on a couple of commissioners for details about said commissions, or payment in other cases, but that's okay too! To whom it may concern, take your time.
I believe I am officially closing the lingerie YCH for now as well, and may revisit it at a later time, but I am also in the process of trying to brainstorm future, more small-scale YCHs. I may have bitten off more than I can chew, in regards to slots. What do you all suggest, as per slots allotted? Also, are there any sorts of YCHs or other special sales you might be interested in? Halloween and the other holidays are around the corner, after all!
On a last note: I have now made a Patreon discord server! Due to an alarming number of fake accounts and content scrapers signing up for my patreon, I have moved most of my content now to a Patreon-backed Discord server, where patrons of their respective price tiers are allowed access to certain channels in the server where I upload my art as I make it! It not only allows me to have tighter control over who has access to my content (which is silly, because I post almost everything publicly eventually anyway, but y'know. content scrapers), but it also works better with my work flow. If you're interested in joining up and seeing all of the cool content I've got in store, you need only pledge to my patreon and link your Discord and Patreon accounts. (Or, follow the link below and DM to let me know what tier you pledged at so I can set your role manually!)

Status Update + Comm/YCH Reminder!
Posted 8 years agoHello everyone! I'm here with another status update after approximately sixty years of absence and sporadic activity.
I have moved out of my apartment and am currently crashing with my sister until my roommate hears word from the loan officer about the house loan. Fingers crossed, though we haven't heard anything yet. It's all pretty touch and go at the moment, so keep me in your thoughts!
I am finally able to get back to work, which you may or may not have noticed from the couple of pieces I've uploaded, and I am so pumped about that. ;w; I missed being able to just sit and work.
That said! The move (and some very unexpected bills/financial Situations) have left me completely financially drained, and I could really use any bit of support you could offer!
I am definitely in need of more commissions to do, so I wanted to remind everyone that my commission status is, unless I state otherwise later on, perpetually open! I might be offering a few commission specials here soon so keep an eye on that as well. Commission prices are here!
I also offer outfit commissions for $40 a piece (examples here), and I still have slots left on my lingerie YCH sheet here!

I’ve got a cute little chibi rain gear set ready to go, and I’m working on a lingerie set, but I wanted to know what else you all might be interested in seeing and having?
