Real Need of Commissions
Posted 14 years agoFor those who watch me, I know I do not put up many examples up on this site but I am quite capable of drawing Furry Art of any sort. I'm currently living in Toronto and don't have a job and if I can get commission work until I find one, it would be greatly appreciated. If you do not want a commission yourself but know of someone who does, please spread the word that I am open for commissions. The following is my commission information.
Will Draw:
~ Fan Art (references preferably sent in initial note/email)
~ Original Characters whether they be human, anthro/furry, or straight animal (references preferably sent as well)
~ Will design a character for you if provided a in depth description of the character
~ Love/Romantic themes
~ Will do group pictures of 3-4 characters. Will do more if they are in a simplified style (like chibi style)
~ I will only do backgrounds if requested. Otherwise it'll just be a simple colored background. If you want a more detailed background, we will discuss the price further depending on how complicated it is.
~ Will draw short comic strips (either newspaper strip style or one comic page)
Will Not Draw:
~ Pornography depending on how explicit it is. I will draw pin ups and possibly suggestive romance/intimacy but otherwise I might say no.
~ Extreme Violence or Gore (I will draw fight scenes but if there's one where one character rips off another's head or guts out of his or her body, the answer will be no)
~ Crazy complicated machinery. I can deal with cars or things that exist today but anything made up or crazy like Gundam then that's another no.
(These two lists are prone to change in the future)
I can use both traditional and digital media, some better than others. For example I'm more confident using markers over paints when it comes to traditional work.
Examples of Digital Work:

Sketch Commissions! $5-$15!!!
Posted 14 years agoThat's right! Starting up some sketch commissions for now and after next week I'll be opening up full commissions again because I need money to live in Toronto by myself. lol Seriously though I hope to get enough to tide me over until I can find a real job but if I can get some money to trickle in on the side, that would be lovely. So! For anyone who is interested, here is my info!
Will and will not draw: Pretty much everything except for gore/extreme violence, sexual themes, and anything mechanical (because I suck at that)
If you have reference pictures for me that's either original or fandom, the better. I'm kind of familiar with most fandoms but the ones I'm used to drawing the most are the following: Naruto, Avatar the Last Airbender, most Disney related animation/movies, anything by stuido Ghibli/ Miyazaki, Kim Possible and more recently Homestuck. This does not mean I won't draw anything else though since there is art in my gallery that are from different fandoms like No More Heroes, Sandman and G.I. Joe.
Prices:
1 character full body = $15.00 (Canadian)
Examples: http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums.....ko/SPCaden.jpg , http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums.....ikingCaden.jpg , http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums.....010-6-12-0.jpg
1 character from the mid thigh up = $10.00
Examples: http://caden13.deviantart.com/galle.....craps#/d2xcp33 , http://caden13.deviantart.com/galle.....craps#/d2yv8em
1 character bust = $5.00
Examples: http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums...../AmayaBust.jpg , http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums.....adenScream.jpg , http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums.....skaGodtier.jpg
Most of these will be done digitally unless otherwise stated. If you want to see more examples of my sketchwork, you can look at the sketchdumps in my gallery. If you want two characters in the same image, it'll be an added $5.00 per character to the price of what kind of sketch you choose. I will only accept paypal for payment and my address is miszy_ella[at]hotmail.com . If you have any further questions, you can either send me a note here or email me at ever013[at]gmail.com . :) I hope that you guys are interested! It would be really nice if you were. lol XD I hope the prices are reasonable. T_T

COMMISSIONS: OPEN
Posted 15 years agoHey everybody! It's almost the end of summer. D8 Augh...I don't think I'm ready to go back to school yet but I have toooo. One more year anyways. And this year I'll be living in my own apartment. It's great because it's cheaper and closer to the school, it's a bummer because I'll have no furniture and need to pay bills and groceries. SOOOOOO I'm opening up commissions again for sketches. Really cheap ones too! I'll be starting this now and will be continuing on during the school year because they are the fastest type of commissions I can do along with my school work and general living. haha So the money is pretty much going towards school and living expenses. It would be awesome if people help out. Now I'll be doing three types of sketches: Bust/Head shots, Knee-up shots, and Fullbody shots. The sketches will be done in any medium unless previously stated otherwise. Also if you'd like to see a sketch inked, just add $3 bucks to the original price. If you want sketches of two or more characters, add $5 for each character to the original price (this mostly applies to the knee-up or fullbody drawings). I only accept paypal right now and I would prefer if you paid up front. I've been burned twice this summer for people not paying and I kind of want to avoid that. My paypal address is : miszy_ella[at]hotmail.com . If you have any more questions or are interested in getting some, just note me here on DA. :D Also below is just a link to some examples of the kind of sketches I do. You can also browse through my sketchdumps to get an idea of what they would look like though they'd probably be more cleaner than the ones that are in there. haha Anyhoo I hope everyone has a great summer and good luck in school or other endeavors! Later!

NOT DEAD!
Posted 15 years agoHello everyone! I'm sorry that I haven't written or posted ANYTHING since the furry convention in Toronto that was held.....in March....I believe. I've just been so busy with school but now that it's finally over, I can do stuff! 8D I would like to thank all of those who recently added me to their watch list and for those who commissioned me at the convention. It really means a lot to me that people like and support my artwork. It gives me hope that maybe I can do this for a living in the future. haha. Now, I'm still doing the hundred bust sketch challenge. I managed to get up to ......possibly....twenty at the convention? More or less? But if anyone is interested, just send me a note. Remember, it's a five dollar sketch done of your character, with any color and any emotion of your choice. :) Some people really enjoyed it at the convention and it was a great challenge for me to try out drawing different animals with different expressions. :) I'll be also open for other commissions, now that it's the summer. I don't know if I'll be able to find a job this summer, so the more art related work I can get, the better. You can find out more about my commission information at this link: http://sites.google.com/site/ever01.....commissioninfo and to actually view my different artwork I recommend this site and my DA account: www.caden13.deviantart.com . Now just to warn you, my paypal account isn't fully working so i have to fix that soon before I take on commissions again. And finally I'll be trying to sell the left over prints that I have from the convention. I think most of them are art pieces from this account but I'll have to check that out. I'll give you an update about that once I get things set up and figured out. I hope everyone is having a good spring! 8D Later.

100 Bust Sketch Commission Challenge!
Posted 15 years agoHey guys! Furnal Equinox is coming up next month and I thought I should try to do some pre commissions for practice and to earn some extra cash. As the title says, I'm going to try this 100 bust sketch challenge and see if I get any bites. What I'm offering is a open canvas sketch of your character's bust, of any color of your choice as well as any expression of your choice for $5 each (canadian). Sound good? I'll be doing these sketches in batches of ten, meaning ten commissioners at a time. I'll also be doing three colored badge commissions (waist up) for $15 still. I'm also planning on doing lingerie colored card commissions for $15 as well. I'll hopefully be posting some examples of that within the next couple of days. All of that sound good to you? If you're interested, just drop me a note and we'll take it from there. :D Hope you guys are having a great time! In the meantime, I need to catch up on homework. XD

Open for Commissions!
Posted 16 years agoThat's right! It's christmas break, so I have a fair bit of time on my hands that I want to use on artwork. And if I can make money while doing artwork, even better! I'll be attending the Furnal Equinox Convention in Toronto and so, for anyone who's going, maybe I'll see you there! And if you commission me and you're going to the Convention as well, I can give it to you there. :D Right now I'll take on ten badge commissions for anyone who is interested and I will only take money as payment! Right now for a 3.5x5 badge, with any three colors of your choice (not including black and white), it's only $15! Not bad eh? I also might consider doing bookmark commissions and pinup commissions..........I will also do steampunk stuff! :D If you want to know about my prices and my rules, check out my commission info at this link: http://ever013.googlepages.com/commissioninfo . For examples to look at in general, either go to my DA: www.caden13.deviantart.com or my commission blog: www.everscommissions.blogspot.com . Hope to hear back from some of ya! :D

Steampunk Sketch Commissions?
Posted 16 years agoHey everyone! Summer is almost over but I still would like to try and get some commission work as I go back to school and keep my funds up. @_@ Since I've been in a steampunk mood again, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in me drawing sketches of their fursona in steampunk? Or any character really? Haha It would help me practice some design ideas for a comic idea I've been developing over the summer for school and just for fun practice. I was mainly thinking of sketches either done in pencil or on Open Canvas, which I will try to upload some examples soon. I have pencil ones right now but I like my OC sketches. XD I think I'll do these for about $10 or $15 dollars? Depending how complex it is? If you want me to color or clean them up with a professional finish, you'll have to pay more of course but yeah. This is just quickies for monies and practice. I'll leave ten slots open and if there's any takers, just send me a note. :3

Posted 16 years agoSo yeah, I know you've all probably seen a lot of commission information already for this summer but I figured one more wouldn't hurt right? lol If not, well too bad. Commission Information as of May 2009
Posted 16 years agoCommission Info
This page is here to explain any questions of the terms, process and prices of the commissions I recieve and create. If some things are not covered on this page or unclear and you still have questions, don't hesitate to contact me via email at Mave013[at]yahoo.ca to help clarify things.
Commission Guidelines:
The following is a list of subjects that I'm willing to draw as well as subjects that I'm not comfortable drawing. There may be exceptions in some cases but overall this covers the basics of what I will and will not create for you.
What I'm willing to draw:
- Will do fanart and original characters (ocs)
- Shonen Ai or Shoujo Ai or any romantic scenes for that matter
- Furries or Hybrids, may do animals on rare occasions
- Will design ocs if provided detailed physical and slight personality descriptions
- Group pics of maximum five people. Will have more people if done in simplified style though I'll add two dollars for each extra person.
- Most pics will have basic colored backgrounds, unless otherwise indicated that the customer wants something more complex in which the price will be discussed in more detail.
What I'm not willing to draw:
- Anything mech related or machine based. It's not that I have anything against it, I'm just not that skilled at drawing such things.
- Full out pornography. Again there may be some exceptions but I'm not comfortable drawing porn. I will do very romantic or suggestive ideas but otherwise I might turn you down.
- If you want me to draw another artist's character, I prefer it if you had their permission to request an art piece of their character. Unless it is a surprise for a birthday or any other special occassion, I would feel more comfortable with permission and not have anyone hunting me down for drawing their character for money purposes.
- Extreme violence/torture/morbidness. Just not a huge fan of it. I can draw people fighting but gore with broken bones and blood everywhere along with guts, not my cup of tea. Sorry guys.
Rules:
Just some rules to look over that help protect me as an artist and that we're both on the same page here.
- Any images that I create for you belong to you and you alone after you pay me. However! That does not mean you can redistribute said image for commercial purposes. That means you can't use my images to make more money unless there was an agreement otherwise.
- Once you recieve your image, I have no more ownership over it but I do ask that I use it as an example of my work on my websites to further promote my work. I will still credit you as the commissioner, and the creator of the character if it happens to belong to you or another artist.
- You can not remove my signature or watermark from the image, no matter what the circumstances.
- Commissions cannot be modified. They were made a certain way, they should be left it that way. If you ask for permission though to make it into a icon or a banner, than I will consider it and most likely say yes as long as you credit me.
- Depending on the price and complexity of the piece, I may ask for a downpayment of ten dollars before hand. However, anything less than that, I don't ask for the money until the image is finished. By that point I ask you to pay and you will recieve your image.
- Because of the process I follow, I make sure that you like what you see before you get the final piece. Therefore, if you don't like what you have in the end I cannot unfortunately refund you because I would have had your input since the beginning. Pencil sketches are the exception since they are quick for me to do and can easily redo them.
- I can work under a certain time limit but it is very rare. Especially if I stated before hand that I am busy with life.
Prices:
Here is a list of the basics for my commissions but prices and depending on complexity of the picture will change if what you're looking for is not listed here.
Pencil Sketches - Bust shot: $3 Head to Waist shot: $5 Fullbody:$8
Open Canvas Sketches: Same prices as pencil sketches.
Photoshop Sketches - Bust shot: $5 Head to Waist shot: $7 Fullbody: $10
Flash Clean Lineart - $10
Photoshop Clean Lineart - $18
Photoshop Coloring: Cell Shading - $25 Painted - $35
Traditional Coloring: Depending on what medium, it may cost more. However for one done inked and with colored pencil, I will charge $30
One character + another is an extra $5 per added character
Art + a background will be discussed
Request a Commission:
All you have to do is send me a email via the address that is provided above that you're interested and send me a detailed request of your picture. In your email you are to tell me what you want me to draw and how, whether it be a sketch or colored piece, whatever that is listed above. If you have references of what you want me to draw, especially if it's your original character, please send the pics along with your email. The more reference, the better. The same would go for detailed descriptions if you want me to design a character, the more information the better. Also include any email contact information so I can get a hold of you for more questions about your requested piece. At this point we can negotiate the price of the piece and you have the right to agree or to move on to someone else. If you do agree on the price, then I start work as soon as I can. Depending on what type of piece you're asking for, I may ask for a downpayment at this point. But if the drawing is less then ten dollars, then I wait until the piece is finished before I ask for payment. For sketch drawings, it usually doesn't take me long to do and there isn't much of an interactive process. However, for larger/complex drawings I will always update you with initial sketches and go through a process of updating you with images and make changes according to your preference and critique. Once satisfied with the composition and line work, I move on to the coloring process, continuing to give you updates until the piece is finished. When I tell you that the piece is finished, this is when I ask for payment. Once I recieve the payment, you will recieve the piece. And that would be the end of my commissioning process. I will only use the image as an example on my websites but that will be all.
Payments:
I have a paypal account that will probably be the only way for you to pay me for the art work. You only need my email address to make the payment and it is Mave013[at]yahoo.ca . I do request a down payment that is $10 on the more expensive pieces. However if it's below $10, you don't have to pay until you get the piece. Prices are negotiable, I will tell you how much I think it will cost to do a piece and you can argue or agree.
I forgot to mention that if you want me to send you the actual original piece, you have to request it with your commission email. If you don't say you want the original piece mailed to you, I will assume that you want the digital file instead which I can make to whatever version you would like ( jpeg, gif, tiff, png, etc.).
I hope that this was helpful and easy to understand. Again, if you have any more questions, don't be afraid to send me an email. I look forward to doing business with you.

Commission Status: OPEN
Back from the Dead...
Posted 16 years ago...though it probably didn't matter that much since I'm new here anyways. XD Haha Well yes, school is over and now I have to find a way to survive in the big T-dot by getting a job, a phone, and an apartment. Hopefully I move into the same building as Arrowroot and DaHalo, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Only problem with that situation is the year lease thing, so I have to be absolutely sure I want to stay in that building, even during school time again in the fall. And have the money for it to by then. But other than that, I got some free time on my hands again so I can start up commissions for anyone who is interested. :3 I have to write my commission info sometime soon and prices but you can still see examples of my work either through my gallery or these two other sites: www.caden13.deviantart.com , and www.everscommissions.blogspot.com . I have three more chibi commissions to get done this week, full colored ones for eight dollars for anyone who's interested. ;) I also can do fur con badges for around fifteen dollars, depending on how complicated they are. I will have an example of one of those up hopefully by the end of the week. I hope everyone is still having a good time though and yay summer!!!!!! FWWWWEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Current Life Status : Oh jeebus school work! @_@
Posted 16 years agoHeh, my first journal entry since I've joined FA a couple days ago and already I seem to be doing quite well. Thank you everyone for the support, watches, comments, and faves! Especially to Arrowroot and DaHalo, my rl buds. :D Along with those two, I too attended the Islinton Fur Meet and it was a good experience, meeting the people, doing on the spot commissions and making new contacts. I was quite pleased with the outcome. :D And if anyone is interested, I'm more than happy to do more commissions, though keep in mind I do have some guidelines and restrictions as to what I will draw. I'll open up for ten slots right now, and I still have three more commissions that I shall try to finish this week. Though with my noted remarkable speed, those could be finish within the next two weeks. :D The reason why it will take longer to do a commission now though is because I'm in school and there's a pile of homework that I really REALLY need to plow through this week, hence the title of my journal. If those would like to commission me, or has commissioned me, please bare with me if I take to long with the pieces because I do have other life changing things to attend to. haha. XD But other than that, I had a great weekend and I hope everyone else at the furmeet did as well. *waves* I'll talk to you guys later!
