Posted 14 years agoHaving trouble uploading photos here :/ I have several different things I've been trying to put up since the last one and they don't seem to want to work. I just get an "500 Internal Server Error" type message. Put out a trouble ticket thing like a week ago. . . They're only jpg images, and seem to be under the file size limit so I don't know what the deal is.
If anyone actually cares, you can check out the most recent things I've done at

Posted 14 years agoYup, it's my birthday, and I can now drink legally. Unfortunately I don't think I can do anything about that today. On the other hand I've for some reason pretty much stayed up all night, and I find that being really tired is kinda similar to being drunk for me so maybe I'll just do it like this x3

1.This survey gets a little personal; can you handle it?
Sure
2. If you married the last person you texted, what would your last name be?
Gostin, lol
3. Were you happy when you woke up today?
Very much so. Woke up slowly with my favorite mouse in my arms.
4. When were you on the phone last? And with who?
I was on the phone a few hours ago with my friend who called basically me to tell me he was here and wanted to come up to hang out x3
5. What are you excited for?
End of the semester I suppose
7. Honestly, who was the last person to tell you they love you?
Probably my godmother heh
8. What's the last thing you put in your mouth?
Well I drank some fruit punch. . . as far as solid stuff goes, I had a jamaican beef patty <3
9. Have a best friend?
mmhm
10. Are you scared to fall in love?
No. Amo ergo sum. I don't know how to exist without love.
11. Do you think teenagers can be in love?
I was.
12. Last person you wanted to punch in the face?
Hm, probably no one.
13. What time is it right this second?
12:33 am
14. What do you want right now?
I want to hear from this guy who's supposed to come pick me up. I have no idea whether he's actually coming or not x3
15. Who was the last person you took a picture with?
Probably my last mate, haven't been in a ton of pictures lately.

I have a good relationship, but I tend to not talk to them about most personal things.

Usually I trust people unless they prove otherwise. to an extent obviously. I don't loan all my money to random people I run into.
20. How fast does your mind change?

Not sure. I've had a really good couple of days, but I'm kinda behind in school. Maybe things will get better.
23. Why do you think so many people cheat?
There's no one reason. Some people don't really know what love is, they get married thinking that's as good as it gets. I feel like if you are marrying someone, you ought to be wiling to devote your life solely to them. That's what love is to me. I personally don't even date someone unless I feel like I could probably spend the rest of my life with them. Otherwise it's a waste of time, why bother?
24. Tell me what's on your mind?
Kinda hungry, and still waiting to hear from this guy x3
25. What are you looking forward to in the next three months?
Mayhem Fest in July
26. Have you ever worn the opposite sex's clothing?
Well, I think that this jacket I wear all the time is actually a women's coat. You can't really tell because it's just black and looks pretty awesome on me, but if you look at the inside, the interior pattern is pretty girly. I have no idea because I sorta just found it in the laundry room lost and found so I just washed it and took it. What can I say, it's free and it fits nice x3
27. When did you last talk to your number 1 top friend?
few hours ago probably.
28. When is your next road trip?
I dunno, if I assume road trip means more than one day of driving, maybe after I graduate and possibly move to Cali.

Yeah pretty much.
30. How's your heart?
Is this a physical or emotional question? lol i guess it's sorta okay either way.
31. Have you ever felt like you weren't important?
Yeah, I suppose. It's weird because I know that I'm important to some people, but at the same time I tend to not care about what anyone else thinks except for the one I love. If I'm not important to them, I'm nothing. Still, I try :P
32. Do you think somebody's in love with you?
I know of a few, yes.
33. What are you planning on doing after this?

34. Next time you will kiss someone?
hmm, tomorrow would be nice, but it's kinda wishful thinking
35. Have you told anybody you loved them today?
Yeah
36. Who do you not get along with?
There are only a few people I really don't like, and I don't really have any occasion to interact with them, so I can't even really say there's any conflict.
37. What does you 3rd recent text say?
It just says "Ok" lol, boring
38. What are you wearing right now?
Black jeans, and a black Who shirt. I'm pretty rock and roll today \m/

if they don't care about me, they can leave
50. Explain your last awkward moment?
Back in january I got the kanji symbol for "tiger" tattooed on the inside of my right wrist. The simplest of the reasons why I got it is because I AM a tiger obviously x3 However, I had a hard time explaining that to my Chinese classmate who didn't have the best understanding of English. I should have just said yes when he asked if I was born in the year of the tiger hehe

No sir :P

58. Is there someone you will never forgive?
Probably not
59. Are you dating the person you last held hands with?
no, single

Same as the last person I texted, so Gostin as I already mentioned.
61. Would you marry someone 8 years older than you?
I'd be surprised, but I would never rules it out.
62. Can you go in public looking like you do?
Definitely. I'm prepared to go out right now, other than needing to put on shoes and a jacket
63. Have you ever kissed someone whose name started with a A?
Yup
64. What side of the bed do you sleep on?
well it depends, at school I tend to sleep on the inside towards the wall, which is the right side of the bed looking at it from the foot. 65. What's the first thing you'll do on your wedding day?
take a shower probably? have to look good x3

67. Has anyone put their arms around you in the past 5 days?
yeah, but I want more hugs <3
68. Do you miss the way things used to be?

73. Who was the first friend that you had?
I used to have this assignment from like elementary school where we had to write a letter so someone, and it was addressed to this friend of mine, Billy. We're talking kindergarten or first grade max, so pretty entertaining lol
74. Does it bother you when someone lies to you?
yeah, trust is important
75. Is there anyone who understands your relationship status?
mmhm
76. Are you a naturally happy person? Or is your happiness forced?
I think that I am naturally happy, but unnatural societal pressures bring me down. lol
77. Is there anyone you wish would fall in love with you?
the one's I care about already love me
78. What do you wear when you sleep?
just undies usually. I have pajamas but they're more for when it gets late and I need to put clothes on but don't want to waste something I could actually wear out someplace.
79. Are you obsessed with something right now?
dunno
80. The first person you loved is?
It's hard to say, because I don't love halfway. Every time I'm with someone, they're the most important person in the world to me. Maybe I could say that I loved them all, but I feel different now because of time and the changes I've been through. I thought I loved a girl for years, I think I can remember starting in 3rd grade, really, and continuing probably almost to high school. We "dated" but I really didn't know how to have a girlfriend even at the time and I think I accidentally gave the impression that I didn't care about her. I could say that I didn't know what love is, but why was she the only one I was interested in for so many years then? I think it was more that I didn't know what to do with love.

Well, I've almost died a couple of times, I guess that would classify as "terrible" if I had x3

well, provided we're not like locked in a suitcase and can't really move, love happens :P
83. If you could wish something, what would it be?
I used to wish when I was younger that I could be a character from Brian Jacques' Redwall series. It's not that I wanted to live a specific story or anything, the world he created just appealed to me so much.
84. Ever forced someone to do something?
Probably got someone to do something they didn't really want to, but I dunno about "forced"
85. When you are alone, what do you think about?
myself, other people, the nature of things basically. I get pretty introspective and philosophical when I'm left alone too long. I developed my own complex religion when I was in 8th grade lol
86. How was your first kiss?
I kissed people before my last mate, but my first kiss with her changed me completely. Before that, it was just sort of a natural thing, what was expected. My mate was my best friend for a long time, and we had a couple "sleepovers" from time to time just to kinda be cuddly. (I found out later she had ulterior motives all along, and I was oblivious, pretty much thinking I was gay x3) I found myself just suddenly thinking about how beautiful she was one night while she slept next to me, and I wanted to kiss her. There wasn't any lust in the feeling, it just seemed right. She woke up with my lips against hers, and we became more than friends.
87. What's your favorite music genre?
Rock/metal.
88. Are you going to tag people to do this?
anyone who actually reads all of this probably did so because they're already doing it, so you go ahead lol
OOsarovakOO1.This survey gets a little personal; can you handle it?

Music
Posted 15 years agoFinally got the stuff up I've been trying to submit. So have some jazz written by I-don't-know-who and another silly electronic project of mine.
Turns out the original files were too large. I thought I'd be able to submit them as .wav files fine, but noooo x3 I guess things kinda need to be mp3 to be small enough. Dunno.

Publications
Posted 15 years agoFOUR of my photos were published at my school recently :3
This was as part of a student book/magazine thing that's put out twice a year. I always submit a few things, and one or two get in usually. This time it was four out of five though hehe
These are the ones that were published:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4549750/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4314083/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4289872/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3987358/
This is really just a hobby for me, but it makes me happy to see something that I created being printed in a collection like that. The one that they didn't choose to include was the one I probably wanted the most, but I expected as much, since it was kind of a stretch for the theme they wanted.

This is really just a hobby for me, but it makes me happy to see something that I created being printed in a collection like that. The one that they didn't choose to include was the one I probably wanted the most, but I expected as much, since it was kind of a stretch for the theme they wanted.

Posted 15 years agoMy webcam is pissing me off right now. I want to use it to record a few videos of myself playing acoustic guitar but it's not working with any of the programs it's supposed to. Tried recording in Photobooth, but I can record like 2 minutes of video in there and hit stop and the resulting video clip is like 2 seconds. What the hell?
I also tried recording video directly onto Facebook but every time I hit stop there it gives me an error message that it couldn't save my video. Ugh. If my regular camera's batteries weren't dead I'd just use that. I guess all I can do is wait for it to charge. . .

Dream Narrative #10
Posted 15 years ago This dream started with a few people heading towards an abandoned house/barn sort of place in a wooded area. I didn’t have a really strong sense of self; just these three men hurrying towards the place. I cannot describe them, or even be extremely certain they were all men, but they headed inside and upstairs. In one of the rooms was another man, chanting some mumbo jumbo language. There was an impression that he was doing evil and needed to be stopped, but there was no fear. The leader of the stoppers tackled this evildoer to the ground, interrupting his incantation, however the man was not impressed. I think that he spoke, but I can’t remember his exact words. He may have said something to the effect of, “It’s too late.” He finished his chanting and directed the spell towards one of the other men in the group that had come to thwart him. It was meant to give a person a great deal of power, and why he didn’t use it on himself is unknown. Perhaps he thought he would have control of this person, a powerful minion of sorts. In any case, the man on whom it was cast turned invisible suddenly, along with the clothes he had been wearing. This, it seemed, was part of the “power” instilled in him.
At this point the group left the building, and the sorcerer, behind. My sense of self became more directed, and I became this invisible man. They put me in this kind of Saudi-desert garb, so that I was mostly covered up and no one would notice that I wasn’t there, and I rode on the back of a compatriot’s horse. We fled through the woods at a good speed on horseback until we came across a lake which reminded me very much of one that I know in Maine called David’s Pond (trust me it’s a lake). As we approached the lake we showed no signs of slowing, to the point where I became alarmed and had to say something, to which the other rider simply replied in a calm tone that there was a hidden ford here. Sure enough, we sped straight out across the lake and barely even got wet. I felt slightly betrayed by this because I had a sense that I knew the place and had never been informed of a way to cross. At some point the other man left me in the woods and went off to do whatever it is that characters do when they leave dreams behind.
From here I wandered to a place where I met a bunch of my friends; apparently I was no longer invisible or awkwardly dressed because nothing was remarked upon. This place sort of resembled a summer camp. It was still in the middle of the woods after all and had a log cabin-y feel to it. We all gathered together in some building to watch a movie. All that I remember about this movie is that it involved three people traveling through the woods in a car. The one in the backseat must have been carsick or something, because he kept vomiting into a carved pumpkin, of all things. Eventually they drove off a cliff. Pleasant film, n’est-ce pas? After the movie, my friend showed me this carved pumpkin that she had made. This was odd, since it was May, and she gave the impression she had made if before Halloween. It was also strange in the sense that there were two little arrows carved into its flesh that you could touch lightly and cause the pumpkin to change color and decoration entirely. It was a strange amalgam of biology and tech (or perhaps magic, as earlier?). Sometime after this I left my friends and started a trip back the way I had come.
Going home would involve fording the lake again, or traveling far around it, but apparently the way I came originally was only passable by horse. Wandering in the woods for a time I sighted a man some distance ahead of me who bore a resemblance to Mr. T. He looked pretty lost too, until suddenly he discovered a shallow place to cross the water. I was sort of annoyed by this and I remember thinking that it wasn’t fair God was showing this guy the way and giving him everything while I was stuck riding his coattails. A short while after this the man I was following discovered a large vehicle and took off. This thing was huge, at least monster truck sized, and there were a number of them in the area. Some of them only had two large central wheels that were as wide as the cabs. There were a couple of smaller vehicles around too, like a white limo from inside of which emanated loud hip hop music. I had an impression this was the big boss of whatever group owned all of these vehicles.
In this area I gained a partner in crime. This was a woman who I met up with and basically it was as if she had been there all along. The two of us resolved to steal one of these vehicles and continue our journey. I jumped into the passenger seat of one of the medium-sized ones, which was about the equivalent of a Hummer jacked up on four foot tall tires. This vehicle also had suicide doors in the rear and a set of pedals and a steering wheel on both the driver and passenger sides for some reason. Even though I could have, the woman was driving. It took her a while to get into the seat though, I assume because the vehicle was so high off the ground. This allowed the owners to take notice and they pursued us as we escaped up an incline. There were some large rocks in the way as well and as we struck one the vehicle went flying through the air backwards. I was certain we were pretty much doomed to land upside down and that was it, but the thing was so large that we were barely affected and merely kept on going after it settled down again. I don’t know if the woman fell out or died or something, but I took over driving and she pretty much left dreamland at this point.
As the men chased me through the woods I eventually came upon a large house that looked fairly new and expensive. I got out of the vehicle and ran into the domicile’s kitchen thinking the place seemed pretty unoccupied. My pursuers followed me in but the layout of the house was confusing and had all kinds of twists and turns and endless rooms. I evaded them quickly and ended up on the second floor, looking for things I could use. I think that there was some clothing I appropriated but that’s about it. While I was looking around I realized that the owners were in fact in the house. I came across a woman as she was just exiting the shower and needless to say she was very naked and very alarmed. I managed to convince her that I wasn’t doing any harm fairly quickly and that I was going to leave so she didn’t make too much noise. I didn’t want her to alert anyone else who might be around that might object more forcibly to my intrusion. I did as I told her I would and left the house, taking the stairs off an upper balcony down to the forest again, never to return.

Daybreakers
Posted 16 years agoSo I was supposed to go to a goth/industrial concert last weekend, but we found out it was being held outside. For 5 hours. In the cold.
Instead we went to see Daybreakers which I didn't expect much of, but it was AMAZING. Possibly the bloodiest movie I've ever seen, and the cinematography in some parts was just plain awesome. Great scenes.
After watching it I wanted to tear people's throats out x3

Cat and Mouse
Posted 16 years agoThis is a dream I'm posting because I just thought it was pretty awesome, even though it wasn't me that actually had it.
So in this dream that my friend had, I was a white anthro tiger. My character usually is darker furred but the dreamer was unaware of this. The friend who had this dream was a mouse girl and was purple with stripes in a lighter shade. This is interesting because the person having the dream was not exactly a furry but has been made aware of these things because of me. It was my suggestion that she was somewhat like a mouse but she went ahead and dreamed up her own character, which I think is really cool.
Anyway, it turns out that I also had some kind of magical penis. It was blue, very large, and sort of emitted an aura of sparkliness. Both of us were nude and I was chasing her around, evidently to have my way with her. So basically the cat got the mouse and I pounced on her, asking if she was ready, to which she replied simply, "Okay." At this point the magical properties of my penis apparently take effect and we had awesome sex.
The End
So, this is a pretty short dream, but I felt like I needed to share it because it's probably my favorite dream ever. x3

Posted 16 years agoDream Narrative #9 (feels like it should say 'love potion' x3 )
It's been ages since I've done one of these. . . something like 10 months I believe actually. Sorry about that :P But I've been blessed with an interesting dream that I can remember decently well, so I will share it with whomever wishes to read:
In this dream I was a member of a fairly large group of outlaws in the wild west. Basically we'd travel from place to place and whenever we came upon a town we'd systematically wipe out everyone in it. I imagine afterward we would take their money or supplies and whatever we needed to move on, but that wasn't detailed in the dream.
So essentially the dream kind of started as we came upon one such little town in the middle of nowhere, a little bigger than we usually tackled but still enough that we felt we could go about our usual business of lead farming. Since this place was a little larger we split up into groups somewhat, tackling different areas of the town to cause confusion. Our leader stayed back a ways from the town on a rise where he could overlook things, along with a few others, to make sure everything went smoothly. I was in a group that basically was headed for the center of town, and I don't recall all that specifically but there were probably half a dozen to a dozen of us in the group, including my buddy or partner in crime you might say.
Apparently there was some communication mishap as we started shooting everyone in sight (I don't specifically recall killing anyone but I probably did) because the dream went back to the leader for a second. He kinda did a facepalm sort of thing and I guess our group was only supposed to pick off a few people and come back later in a guerrilla warfare kind of tactic. There were more people in the town than expected. The dream then went back to my perspective, and I looked back to see our leader and the remainder of our crew charging down the hill to our aid so that the operation wouldn't be completely botched and we wouldn't lose too many men. Our leader was in front, but apparently made the mistake of forgetting to load his six-shooter, which is what we were mostly using by the way. He just made himself look like a bit of an idiot and the others had to cover for him a moment. Anyway, the original group continued shooting the townspeople indiscriminately, moving on down the streets carefully as we went. I can remember seeing three fairly young boys sitting on the steps of a school house smoking something or other. My partner shouted, "Shoulda stayed in school, boys!" merrily and fired at them as they scrambled to try and reach the shelter of the building. They did get inside briefly, but it wasn't a safe haven for long and they were killed. It's interesting to note however that they were simply sitting outside there despite that we'd not exactly been very stealthy about shooting our way across town. It seems that some aspect of the dream just decrees that the townspeople are very oblivious to gunfire unless they're actually witnessing it.
In any case, sometime after this the shooting just sort of died down. There were still plenty of people alive on both sides, but they just seemed to be pretty much ignoring the fact that everyone had been shooting at each other not so long ago. Other things were going on though. There was a large fenced in enclosure, for horses it seemed, where much of the people had gathered. My partner and I moved up to a spot a long the fence to watch the spectacle within. Inside the enclosure, there was a large man, that is to say one with a lot of weight to him, from our group of killers as well as a similarly rotund woman from the town and a huge horse. The horse was large in stature rather than girth, it's shoulders as high as the tops of our heads I believe. The fence surely would not have contained it, seeing as we could rest our elbows on the top of it comfortably, but it stayed in there nonetheless. Generally what was going on here was that the woman was being pursued and abused by our man in various ways, which the crowd cheered on readily. I only remember flashes of things here and there, their clothing disappearing as it went on having been ripped off by the man, but there were definitely some parts where the woman had been forced to have sex with this enormous horse or the man chasing her. Also at times she was made to ride on the horse nude, sometimes joined by the male as well who was actually trying to pull her onto his lap and mate with her right on top of the horse as it cantered around the enclosure.
After watching this a bit, my buddy's thoughts went back to business and he made mention of how many people there were left to take care of in town, including the three people right next to me. These three consisted of a rancher, his wife, and his daughter. The patriarch was none too happy about what he'd just heard, pulling his revolver on me slowly. I made some reassuring remarks, telling him my weapon probably wasn't even loaded. Pulling it out I showed him that it indeed wasn't, and that it didn't even have any spent casings in it. In response my friend produced his weapon, noting that it was indeed loaded, but the rancher and I just laughed at him because he'd somehow managed to load some of the rounds in backwards.
Now another man appeared. I would think this was the rancher reasserting his annoyance with us except that this man was on the other side of the fence from us. He held up a pair of shotgun shells, asking me if I'd like a .30 or a .35, which don't really make sense as gauges as far as I know. I've never heard of them anyway. I mostly wrote him off and just started to walk away, almost across the street when he suddenly shot me in the back. It hurt a little, and was enough to knock me to the dirt, but I got right back up and was mostly fine. As I went down he had thrown the other, unused round at me along with a gold coin for some reason. I picked them both up, some of the ladies who were hanging out nearby taking sympathy with me. They seemed to be a group of whores, and they offered me a shotgun to use in revenge on my attacker, calling it "Old Bessie." It pretty much looked like a useless block of wood somewhat carved into the shape of a rifle, so I politely refused and continued down the street a ways.
The spectacle of the man, woman, and horse ended sometime around now I believe, because all of the people were suddenly free to do as they pleased, and for some reason decided it was a great idea to destroy the dam above town and hurried up towards it. At this point , inexplicably, the song Don't Stop Believin' by Journey became the background music of the dream and just kept playing throughout the rest, coming from nowhere and everywhere at once. Now this dam, which I hadn't seen previously, was an odd mixture of things that somewhat made sense for the period, and others that were entirely beyond it. It was essentially a large man-made pond of sorts a little above the town. I supported its destruction entirely, as I imagine the remaining members of my murderous group would, since it would mean washing away the majority of the town. People started to tear away at it, removing the dirt that was shoring up the sides, and pulling down the chain link fencing that made a ring around the top of the dam. As we removed the dirt, it revealed wooden sides to the dam beneath which didn't hold up long against the water pressure without the weight of the earth behind them. The water started to burst out of the dam forcefully, and I clung to some of the fencing above, completely unconcerned, even as it came unattached from the ground and I swung out backwards into the air on it. Basically the dream ended sometime during the dam's destruction. It is worth noting also that sometime between the start of that part of the dream and the end, one of the women from town (maybe one of the hookers who had sympathized with me) became smitten with me, and I with her. So I imagine we lived happily ever after.
THE END
I really don't have any good explanation for this dream, other than maybe the Journey, because I was playing Rockband the other day and had to sing that song. (100% :P ) All the shooting and stuff I could maybe attribute to the fact that I watched Constantine and Equilibrium last night, although the styles are extremely different and don't really have anything to do with the whole western theme. Tell me what YOU think :3
