Well it's been a year since I made a journal... so lets just sweep that old one away and start fresh.

So then... where to start? 2016 was a weird year, good things happened, bad things happened, things happened. I worked two jobs and only managed to save a small amount of money from them, but that's alright. It's better than nothing. The work was exhausting but I still feel I can take a few lessons away from it So that's alright too.

Oh I also got to go to Disney World. that was pretty sweet. Had a few adventures there. ^^

Other than that though I didn't really accomplish anything until the tail end of the year, which leads me up to my next subject.

It is the start of a new year and I feel that song is really appropriate for me right now. back at the end of November I got a call from a studio up 3 hours away from where I currently live. They found my old resume that I had submitted to a job site back when I was still in college and had completely forgot about. So we got to talking and they ended up hiring me. I am now an audio/visual technician for PSAV! The job actually pays more than enough for me to finally afford my own apartment, and is the first job I will ever have that actually relates to my College degree. So I can actually start my career now!

and it only took...4 years. ^^;

So anyway, I'm am scheduled to start my new job on the 15th this month, I've got an apartment lined up to move into and just need to wait for them to call me back to know when I can officially move in. I am really excite and anxious for what this year will bring. The future is full of possibilities and nothing is certain. But I plan to make the best of it. I'm going on an adventure after all. ;3

...Oh and my birthday is tomorrow. [January 3rd] That is also important. ^^;

I am the guardian of nature, I have complete dominion over all plant life as well as tremendous strength. I also have enhanced agility and endurance. Oh and while I'm certainly no ace I am a rather good detective.

well yeah giant monster usually don't respond to being politely told to leave. Although I'm guessing you're referring to more my loved ones and yes, sometimes I do unintentionally hurt them and I always feel awful when it happens.

I can be a bit blunt at times and sometimes I come off more stern than I intend to.

Well I am very fond of Cajun food. particularly a nice hearty gumbo and jambalaya... I can't say I've ever been tempted by them though.

On the very rare few days that I don't have to fight crime I like to sit on the balcony of my apartment building and watch the sun set into the cityscape despite how busy the city can be those rare few moment have an almost Zen like tranquility.

I really wish I was better about updating my journal on here. I've had that birthday journal up for half a year now. ^^;

So there really isn't much going on for me right now. I am still trying very hard to get my career started with very little success. [read: none] I've been trying to find other jobs to help me tide things over until I could get something going, with very little success. [read: one job... was fired for something he didn't do.] and I've been trying to see about writing a book in my free time. [read: one chapter in 6 months, whoa slow down Hemmingway.]

Things could be going better I guess. Honestly there are a lot of times that I find myself wondering if things will ever work out right... but that's alright. I'm certainly not going to give up just because of several set backs. Its easy to show a brave face and act confident when everything is going your way. It takes a lot more strength to keep that same attitude when things in life get rough. I like to think that I'm strong like that. ^^

It also helps when you have good friends around to keep things in perspective. So thank you all for that... and for caring about me in general. that means a lot to me.

Also had a small art dump. I wanted to see how many I could build up before posting them all at once.. but then I remember what a pain in the butt that is so I Posted the ones I had gathered so far instead. :P

So today is my birthday. I am now 26, a college graduate and in search of work.

I also realized that I have had this account for 8 years now. I wonder if I should have some sort of anniversary where I run into all my previous companions or something. It has been an interesting eight to say the least and I have made many very dear and close friends. To them I say thank you, I am grateful for all of you, and look forward to our next adventure. ^^

Right so i guess i should post an update here. This last semester I've been working at a newspaper for my internship. Thats gone about as well as you would expect for a super hero. ^^;

Still it was a learning experience and I'm grateful for it. This will be my last week working at the press, as well as my last week as a college student. next saturday i will be graudating.

So I've been working as an unloader for Wal-Mart this summer, The job is alright and pays well, but I swear to god my co-workers have got to be the most ignorant collection of southern stereotypes this side of TLC. For those who dont know... which will probly consist of all of ya, I'm a major fan of this game. So I'm really looking forward to the anniversary edition. I just hope that it's released before the end ofthe year. ^^;

Or rather yesterday. Just another event in a long strand of bad luck this summer. ^^;

So since I had no other way of gathering funds this summer I tried selling my blood, but it was almost closing time by the time I was seated, and the nurses were apparantly in a rush to get me done, so they ended up setting the pump to high or soemthing, and left me alone for 2 hours. After which they pulled the needle out and unshered me to the exit. I managed to get to the lobby on my own before blacking out. ^^;

The nurses luckily found me soon after and managed to revive me enough to remember my sister's phone number for a ride home. After that I was pretty much immobile and barely functioning until this morning.

On the bright side though, I made $30. I'm sure things will get better eventually, Just gotta stay positive. :)

neat... I would be more interested if other characters from P1 through P3 appear though. Naoya never gets any screentime. Course it kind of takes away from the story of P4.

My summer break starts today, and its already off to a good start. I got a free 360 along with a copy of Final Fantasy XIII! ^^

so that should tide me over for about a day. then I'll need some more games.

Well  Odin8898 tagged me with this almost a year ago and I sort of forgot about it until  ErdeKaiser did a simular meme. so I'll do it now.

Right then... um Fun facts about me.

1.) When I was 10 years old I was in the Boy Scouts. It was kind of a dull experience but I did have one fun misadventure. Our group..or troupe... whatever we were, were riding on a float in the city parade for reason i'm not really sure. Anyway after the parade I wandered off away from the troupe and ended up getting seperated from everyone. so I was alone [but not lost] in the down town part of this low income city.[Grenada, Mississippi... a cesspool of angst and mud] So I did the only thing I could think of and started to trek my way home. I was actually pretty excited about my situation since this was my first time out on my own. Along the way out of the city square I ended up doing several good deeds [in my naive 10 year old mind anyway] such as picking up a bunch of litter and throwing it away, telling an old lady how to get to the pigly Wiggly, and helping a hooker cross the street.[At the time I didn't know she was a hooker, I just thought she was a very pretty lady with a lot of lipstick on, high heels, short skirt, and for some reason despite it being the middle of summer a white fur coat. She also had noticibly rough hands. Take that how you will. :P] Anyway I was eventually found by the mayor of the city, who realised my cituation and took me to the local court house[also a first for me. :3] she let me play with her kids while she called my parents to tell them where I was.[apparantly my mother was hysterical after she realized I was gone and had rushed off to the police station to tell them I was missing. course at the time she also really had to use the bathroom so what she ended up saying was sort of wierd. "My Child is missing! Do you have a bathroom!? D:>"] So I got to ride an elavator between the court room's two floors until my dad picked me up and took me home. I was taken out of the scouts soon after because of the incident. Still... it was a fun day.

2.) When I really enjoy something no matter what it is I make it a note to learn everything I possibly can about it. This also tends to apply to my friends... which is why I tend to ask so many questions. [yeah sorry about that I know its annoying. ^^;]

3.) I worked at a haunted house/zoo and aquarium for a summer. It was an interesting experience. By day I cleaned up the grounds and prepped the food for the animals. I also ran the feed the shark exibit [You would be surprised how many times I had to explain to people that you don't feed them with your bare hand. -__-;] and took care of 3 new born tiger cubs. At night I doned many costumes from a sereal killer clown, to an 8ft tall wraith, to a decaying hunchback and terrorized costomers at the haunted house... also chased a couple of people out of the parking lot, that was fun. I also helped build a maze of mirrors[keeping that maze clean was a bitch. face smudges all over the place.]

4.) I love Tokusatsu. Even the really bad ones. [Prince of Space, Develman OVA... masked rider... ok maybe not ALL of them]

5.) My right pinky can bend all the way backwards because of a freak dodgeball accident.

6.) Although I havn't played it in a long time and am probly really rusty I actually can play the harp.

7.) I like to collect videogames and bad movies. My dorm room looks like a GameXchange with a wider selection.

8.) i'm entering my 3rd year of college.. and I still don't have a clue as to what I am actually doing. But my goal remains the same. No matter what I want to make movies. Probly be a lot easier if I actually owned a camcorder though. ^^;

9.) I am perpetually optimistic. No matter how bad a situation tends to get I am always able to find a silver lining and keep marching forward. Although i've been told it can be a little off putting. ^^;

10.) I have a lot of excess energy because of my hyper metabolism. so much that most nights I end up running around campus and up and down my quad just to get tired.

11.) I'm actually really bad when it comes to meeting new people. Its not that i'm shy, its just that with a new person I'm not sure what I can and cannot talk about. so I usaully end up with very little to say past a bunch of survey questions like their age, name, and general interests. frankly i'm not even sure how I managed to make friends with most people online. ^^;

12.) I am sometimes afraid that I am only friends with a person becuase I have some use for them. but I don't want it that way. I want to be friends because we enjoy each others company. and yet that doubt lingers in the back of my head. It makes me feel guilty for even thinking such a thing.v_v;

13.)I tend to do foolish/heroic things [interchangable I know. :p]. I've jumped off of my bike to save a dog, I've run in front of on coming traffic to save a kitten, and i've blocked debre from hitting a small child.

14.) I have absolutely no clue what my heritage is. My parents don't know, my grandparents don't know, and anyone older than that is either dead or senile. the most I could get out of any of them is that we are sort of a mix of everything, with scottish, native american, german, african american way back when, and apparantly super generic 1950s white guy.

15.) I have music playing in the back of my head all ofthe time... mostly just because I like pretending my life has a soundtrack nd also cause it breaks the silence for me. :3

In other news i'll be heading back to my parents house for the summer. This may or may not limit my internet access. So..I may dissappear again for a while. I'll miss ya guys if it does. But i'll be back in August.... ^^;;

Well I suppose it was time I made a journal about something. so um.. let see whats happened over the last. >.>

Oh I made it through finals without a scratch. well cept for math, but my grade was high enough that I survived despite the bad final grade so yay.

THe day after finals on my way home for the holidays I bought a PSP. Mostly cause of Dissidia but also cause I happened to have a spare $130 from selling my books back to the school and a desperate asian exchange student who couldn't find a copy of intermediate algebra. anyway i've already racked up a few games for it thanks to some huried last minute shopping of my parents. speaking of Christmas I got some cool stuff. I got a new pair of Sandals [they're really fancy, got all these leather straps on them and stuff, mom says that its to complete my Jesus look... don't ask] some belly flops [disfigured and rejected Jelly Bellies] some mario and Yoshi Bed pants, [this is good cause i've actually outgrown my [pillsberry doughboy ones] Peewee Big adventure on DVD, the previously mentioned PSP games [Final Fantasy Tactics, Kingdom of Paradise, Parrappa the Rapper, Rengoku, Regoku 2] a new webcam, and an adorable miniture meat clever with Sausage and cheese. not a bad load at all. ^^

well um what else is there?.. oh! I picked up Kingdom Hearts Re: Chains of memory. It's a nice remake of the GBA game, although some things about it surprized me [Marluxia is now pronouced "Mar Looo sia"] [also apparantly Sora's balls dropped right after the events of KH1 since he has older Sora's voice.. but hey not like they can make Haley Joel Osment small and cute again :P] also the new added sleights are fun although you have to figure out how to do most of them on your own. also the targeting system has a few flaws. aside from that.. and a faulty camera I recomend it.

I can't really think of anything else to annouce..um... Oh yes. My birthday will be on Saturday. I will be 21. Old enough to still not drink :V

The strangest thing happened to me this morning, while I was asleep I was dreaming as usual, I can't remember what the dream was about sadly but that's not really the strange part anyway. ^^;

the strange thing is that I woke up suddenly and realized that I had been singing in my sleep. I was in mid-lyric when I snapped back into consciousness. I can't say anything like that has happened to me before. I can't say I had any reason in the dream to be singing. I wonder if anyone else has had a simular incident?

also for those wondering the song I was singing when I woke up was "Komm, Susser Tod" or Come, Sweet Death.
