Posted 12 years agoI feel horribly guilty that I haven't been on in so long. Trying to get somewhere with my cosplay has kept me busy, and I've been in a real slump with my drawing.
So... If anyone would like a quick little sketch of a pony from any gen, main or background, or even your fan character, I'm open.

Posted 12 years agoI took a bit of a break to get my emotions in order, and deal with a bunch of family visits and stuff because of the holiday. I'm feeling much better. Honestly I don't know what my problem was.
I hope those of you who celebrate it had a wonderful Easter!
Anyway, I have been working my tail off sewing and gathering material for my cosplays this summer. My last idea is still up in the air at the moment. So far this is what I have planned:

> Jotaro Kujo - JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
When I have some decent progress done, I'll show y'all!
I hope those of you who celebrate it had a wonderful Easter!

They will be up soon, I promise. I hate to be a letdown like this, but I've felt really crummy the last three days or so, and I've spent most of em lying in bed.

DA, an update on requests, & the possibility of commissions
Posted 13 years agoI made a DA account to post more of my less furry-centric art, and cosplays that I'm working on. I can't say I'll be on as much as I am over here, but I'll try to update. It's Chaos-Theorist.
As for the requests, I'll have em up sometime today! Yesterday evening was a little busy for me.
I'm also considering taking commissions for pony plushies, in an effort to try and save money for Metal Gear Rising, and a road trip I'd like to take in the future. However, until I figure out PayPal and get that all ironed out, the only payment method I could accept is a money order :/
I'll let you know when that gets worked out!

What if I changed up my fursona as I redraw stuff?
Posted 13 years agoI mean... I feel like everyone seems to be a fox. I really love foxes, and I think they're adorable critters, but I just wanna be less cliche.
At the same time though, the reason I picked a gray fox is because of an old nickname I had years ago and the memories are something I cherish, because memories are something I hold dear. I feel like if I changed, it'd be like I was throwing that all away.
I want to stand out and find something that fits my personality a tad more, but I also want to stay the same because of sentimentality.
/sigh decisions, decisions...

Posted 13 years agoBecause I want to try and make a partial so I can cosplay Mordecai from Regular Show at the con. Originally, I wanted to go as a Khajiit from Skyrim, but if I'm going to do that, I want to be sure I do it right! Something toony would probably be better for a first try.

Memories of 2012
Posted 13 years agoA friend did this, so I figured why not? Seems pretty cute.
1) Where did you begin 2012?
Hmm... I think I was over at Alese's? I can't recall if I came home before midnight or not.
2) What was your status by Valentine’s Day?
Single, as per the usual.
3) Were you in school anytime this year?
Nope.
4) How did you earn your money?
I don't really... my grandmother was in and out of the hospital about three or four months ago, approximately, and I'm her caregiver now. I don't have the time for a job.
5) Did you have to go to the hospital?
I didn't. I visited my grandmother every day she was there, though. Um... I DID smash my finger in the car door and have to go to the Urgent Care up the street to get stitches and a tetanus shot, though... that was back in February.
6) Did you have any encounters with the police?
Only once. Aaron and I decided to sit in the car at the park and talk and look for constellations, but a cop pulled up and told us the park had closed like an hour before >.>
7) Would you relive 2012 over and over again?
Only the parts where I visited Buffalo for a week, went to the con, and maybe a few other months... but that's about it.
8) What did you purchase that was over $1000?
Nothing.
9) Did you know anybody who got married?
No.
10) Did you know anybody who passed away?
No.
11) Did you know anyone who had a baby?
Nope.
12) Did you move anywhere?
Nope.
13) What concerts/shows did you go to?
I tried to go to concerts twice, but both times the tickets sold out before I could get them :/

Spend a week in Buffalo on my own.

Going to the con in a costume, and having someone take a photo of my cosplay for the first time! That and going to the grocery store late at night with my friend in Buffalo while we were still wearing our pajamas.

That I try too hard to please absolutely everyone, and by doing that, I end up pleasing no one... especially myself. You can't always make everyone happy, and you can't always expect everyone to agree with what you say.
22) Any new additions to your family?
Well... after my hamster died, I wanted to get a new pet. I didn't see any hamsters at the pet shop, so I got a gerbil. He's a cutie, but he makes a ton of noise running on his wheel at night.

Oh gee... lots... but probably Fleet Foxes and Kaskade!

Plus, this will give me more time to provide examples of what you can commission from me!

>small amigurumi dolls
>fingerless gloves in the color of your character's paws, with pads crocheted onto the palms!
So just hold on for a little while, and be patient with me! This will be the first time I've done something like this.
