Posted 8 years agoWoah, seems like I havn't posted a journal in 2 whole years! I'm not usually one to blog very much though, so I'm not really surprised.
The past year has really been me actually making myself a part of the larger furry community, which has been really fun. Hoping to get a chance to suit with some local furs around my 21st birthday, and will be hitting up MFF later this year!
Currently I'm settling into the school year with art commissions and waiting on the completion of two new partials of my raptor, Mood, and my badger sona, Vodka. Hoping to wear them alongside Calia at MFF with friends!

Calia is a big nerd-- the kind that spend their days completely engrossed in the topics that interest them the most. Calia's profession/title is Wanderer, which is a vague way of saying she's tasked to go around the world and make records of all the species she comes across in an ancient book that marks their place in history. The world she inhabits is constantly changing and species that aren't registered tend to be lost to evolution. She's trying to keep as much flora and fauna around as possible, along every step of their evolutionary lines. She spends her days either out in the field doing research or fact checking in the royal libraries.
Her personality is caring and gentle, and can sometimes appear passive. She is often lost in thought, and can sometimes seem space-y. Even though she has sharp claws she would never hurt a fly unless her or her mate were in great danger. She is not immediately trusting and can be very judgmental upon first meeting someone, but she easily warms up to people and greatly values friends and allies. Her movements are very calculated and there is an air of reverence about her. She is a slow moving and contemplative creature by nature.
