Soooo; I'm 5 months pregnant. Baby due in July

Crazy life stuff, got a boyfriend that acted super serious and pushed me to get pregnant, I finally did and he left me 2 weeks after the news accusing me of cheating (took the cowards route) He even spoke of marriage and promised he would be there through this process.

Unfortunately his words were not reflected with actions. He lived with me about 6 weeks and helped very little and even less financially.

He does not believe it is his child, so he opted out in my book.

For my own sanity and for the kid's future I'll be a single mother.

Yeah okay I haven't been keeping up with journals I'll try to catch ya up:

The last year I've been living in an RV having a pretty hard time.

I had to walk outside to go to the bathroom for resident use because our RV is so old nothing works. We had to survive using electric everything. Ended up losing more money and having a lot of my stuff damaged beyond repair due to bad leaks in the roof. We tried everything to seal the damn thing but the rotting wood foundation was in such bad condition it was too expensive to fix, and honestly not with it with how old the thing is. Most parks wouldn't let us rent a lot because of that fact.

I'm really sorry to everyone I've had waiting so patiently for me. Thought you might want to know where I disappeared off to.

Things are slightly better in my new home after moving, but there are still aspects I am unhappy with, and plan on moving again soon with my brother.

A lot of sudden rules have caused me to have to foster my pets temporarily and that's honestly breaking my heart and causing much stress and worry.

Alright, so I know that my watermark has been around awhile but I plan to
make a 2020 watermark. I think I designed my current one back in 2017,
and just haven't had enough time, motivation, or been in the right mental
or physical condition to catch up.

I haven't brainstormed a lot to what the new one will be, but perhaps
it'll be something that makes more sense, and less alteration as an overlay
to my pieces. Maybe something with my two main OC's? Or should it just
be kima? I am open to suggestions, but in the end I'm going to create
something that feels right for me and my artwork.

As for the new prices, yes, they will be rising slightly.
(Anyone I have quoted the 2018 prices to will keep that price)
My current guide is from 2018 and I'm sure as most watchers, or fellow artists know,
with skill improvement comes a lot of endless hours of extra detail work.
That stuff that I end up putting so much love into ends up putting me behind,
as I'm also trying to pay bills regularly and feed myself and update as many clients
as I can to my progress. I don't always have a stock of groceries, I make sure my
pets eat before I do. Please don't take offense to my new prices. I am trying
to stay fair to myself and keep my client in mind at the same time, that is a difficult
balance, and not everyone will agree with it. I only hope you will understand.

I know that I haven't been around much other than the occasional commission submission. There are quite a few reasons for that;

I have been moving and it's been difficult to keep up with all of that stress and the physical toll it has taken on me is causing me a lot of discomfort.

For about a month I was convinced I was moving to CO, but the "friend" that offered me a place to stay had given the room to someone else. This had made me very upset and sent me into a spike of depression and that was making everything in my life more difficult to handle. Needless to say, I have gotten medicated for depression and Bipolar II disorder. I try my best but I pray that you all bare with me. I will be getting back into the swing of things very soon

Luckily for me, a very good friend of mine here in AR said I could stay with her! Now I have a bomb-ass roommate to art with and internet, so I will be much more responsive. I was on data on my phone before and that was pretty tough to manage, but now I have my computer back! Look forward to seeing both digital and traditional commissions to come! I will start doing a little more personal work now that I have gotten a little more time freed.

I appreciate you all and would like to know what you want to see me create! Your input is important and I will do my best to throw a few pieces out there for all of your patience.

So I have never hated this town in Arkansas as much as I hate it now.

Earlier today I went to walmart, bought all my groceries, and was forgetful just long enough to leave my phone behind in a Mc Donalds that was tucked into the corner of the store.

The drive I have home by itself is at least 15 minutes away, so by the time I realized it was missing, so much time had elapsed I thought for sure by now someone would've picked it up and turned it in to lost and found, or given it to the people at the Mc Donalds counter.

First thing I did was have my boyfriend call my phone; it went straight to voice mail. My phone was at 35% and it was originally built to have a long lasting battery, so I KNOW it shouldn't be going straight to voice mail at this point.

After arriving back at the store I had no luck finding it anywhere around the area we had been sitting, but there was a suspicious man sitting where we were before. After I looked for the phone in that area he waits for me to walk past then asks my boyfriend if he's picked anything up... Mildly concerned we proceeded to ask the people at the counter if they had seen it, and they said no because I had called them before, but they tell me that guy has been getting complaints from other customers. I proceed to wait for the police to show up and wait around for them to search him (he had gone our for a cigarette so he could have stashed it) They check him and they checked his stuff, no phone. I waited another hour or so for this to be uneventful and non helpful in the recovery of my device.

Next go to find my device through google. I was like SHWEET I think I left my location turned on for my phone. Since it's off, it won't even connect. I have locked the device via google and put a message on offering a reward with a number to call and no luck yet. It has even been reported to the local police as stolen so we will see where that goes.

I am terrified. I had a lot of personal content on my SD card... Even if I erase and factory reset my phone via google it won't erase the SD card...

I pray that some sort of miracle gets my phone back. Till then I will just have to do my best and get as much work to try and cover a new phone in the future.

Alright, so around the middle of August, me and my partner broke up, so I have been trying to adjust to the single life, finding myself again and all that.

I seemed to have lost my spark again... as much as I loved and appreciated his company, it just wasn't the right fit. Forever I will be grateful for the role he had in my life as my friend and supporter. We are still trying to stay friends, even though it may hurt a little, I think that we can both be mature about this situation and try to make the best of it.

Other stressful things I have had to put up with since then;
Lack of motivation due to depression, and poor health. I was sick with a sinus infection for about two weeks straight and after finishing the first round of antibiotics, had to return to the doctor to get more.
My family has been really trying my patience as well. As much as I wanted to form a closer bond with them by moving here to Arkansas, none of them have had the same interest. I have had to face their fierce judgments and constant tearing down of my creative abilities and my general confidence. Unfortunately they don't view my freelance art career as a real job. They literally would prefer me working part time for a boss and company that takes advantage of my time and willingness to pick up the slack for the lazy employees.

I wanted to sincerely apologize for not being able to keep up with my promise here to do a raffle for August. I know it is the middle of September but I will try to get some cute ideas going for a raffle. Maybe some Halloween themed ones? Also, I'm still interested in making a guest piece.

As for commissions:
I have completed the two large watercolor commissions that I had, so the sketches for the remaining commissions will be released within the next couple of days.

So I have gotten caught up on a lot of my que and should be finishing it within the next week! I honestly do need more commissions or sales of YCHs, but I will be doing a little more touching up and re advertising for those badboys later.

What I am planning on doing is offering a free raffle for every 100 watchers I receive here on Furaffinity! There will definitely be one winner, but depending on the amount of new entries and new watcher turn-out I may have 2nd and possibly even 3rd place prize!

I also was considering doing an art contest and having the prize be a complete illustration with a background! Who would be interested in such a contest??
I love all of my watchers, and I have always loved seeing all different types of art! I will probably sketch up quick refs for each of my characters, they would be the subject matter of such a contest. There will be limitations for what sexual orientation is portrayed for each individual or whether I am comfortable with NSFW art, all info will be listed once I have submitted said character guide.

Listen, I am still pretty mediocre on the scale of art knowledge, but I do my best!

Once I compared myself to much greater artists and would be discouraged, but after some years of living and pushing myself hard every day to learn I have become much more confident in my abilities.

Art is not easy. Not in the slightest. To understand art and all of its mighty concepts is a huge feat, but it does have to come from much learning.

>>Use Photo References: One of the best ways to learn is by looking at a real example. It is up to you how you interpret it on paper, but I guarantee you will learn some things you didn't know ;D

>>PRACTICE!!!
I know that you hear this everywhere but no one got good at anything without experience. If you have a busy schedule, make time! If you are passionate about creating artwork than you will find the time (even small sketches will help keep your skills sharp)

I can't stress this enough. There will be some really hard times ahead of you, but don't give up! Take a break, do something else you love until you are inspired

From my own experience I have found that following other people's trends will not help your own personal growth. Find something you love that gets your brain fired up creatively! Join a D&D group, watch some movies you love, play some games! LIVE LIFE

Sometimes I have found myself in places that were very discouraging. I realized eventually that I can only work when I have absolute peace. Something about noise and movement really messes up my concentration. Do everything in your power to find somewhere that fits your working preferences. I like to go to the park or create with friends!

This is the most important. You need to do what you can to keep yourself in the best physical, mental, and emotional condition that you can. Get rid any toxic influences. If something or someone is making you feel bad, then you can choose not to be a part of it. Get as much rest as you can, put yourself on a regular sleeping schedule (if you can, is isn't easy) this means going to bed at around the same time each night/day so that your body gets into the habit of winding down around then. Mental baggage can bring your motivation to a halt if you haven't managed it. It is okay to ask for help, we all need help at some point or another. Emotional strain will exhaust you, try to listen to good vibe music or drink your favorite beverage.

Before I relocated, net was down because of some really lame maintenance that they were
doing on the cables for like two weeks

Just in case you were wondering, this horrible (lack of) service was Century Link. If anyone
was considering them as their internet, I recommend not.

****RANT AND BORING NEWS ABOUT MY LIFE AHEAD****


Pleh!

So I was all kinds of excited to get my art stuff going again and WHAM! MORE WORK FROM MY STUPID PART TIME JOB!

I am dreading every day. My poor boss has to go to the doctor, so I'm glad I can at least stand in for that but, C'MON.
They got me working a 6-day week when originally it was 3-4 days and just barely under full time hours so I will not be getting over time.
It seems every time I get a "Part time" job what they really meant to say was "we will work you whenever we want
and totally screw with your hours and schedule so you will be a walking sleep zombie"

Because I'll tell ya, I have not had a good night's sleep in about a week and a half. 4 hours if I'm lucky.

I am not passionate about this stupid gas station job. It sucks my very life, my very SOUL

On the other hand I've got moving to look forward to, but I'm so very nervous because it seems the office people don't have
their shit together... Today I am giving notice to my current apartment. Would be nice to know that deposit myself and my
boyfriend paid will actually be securing me a new home... Still, we have heard nothing about a viewing of the unit since it's
renovations completed, and have signed not a single paper, nor lease. God give me strength to have the patience.
I've been in full panic mode lately and have been getting triggered so often with all that's going on.

ALL I WANT TO DO IS CREATE! Why does adulting have to be so difficult?!

I will quit this nightmare job as soon as my manager ain't dyin.

Until then, I will upload as much as I can, but chances are I will be at that place working selling what's left of my soul to satan.

So my birthday was on the 2nd this month, I turned 26, lost my insurance, and I'm currently apartment/condo hunting because my lease is running out in Dec.

After all the stress of that stuff settled, I decided to take a very well needed vacation back to home state. COLORADO!!!!

I visited lots of my friends and only wish I could have had more time to see everyone xc

Once I got back my gas station job was all nutters and they scheduled me 7 days in a row. Today is one of my days off, but luckily, I will only be returning there for 4 days a week which leaves me with 3 to get commissions and errands done.

Good news is that I have started to get back into the art groove and I plan on making my art the full time gig.

COOL UPDATES:
-My buddy Lech built me a desktop that is capable of streaming, running games, and all of my art software! So my laptop overheating and shutting down while I'm trying to work is now out of the question :D
-I just finished re-downloading most of the software I need to art more <3 and will be posting art much more frequently
