On the bright side we still have one more. 12/12/12. I don't know about you, but between December 12, 2012 and the mirror date December 21, 2012 when the Mayan calendar makes the world explode, I'm gonna throw a doomsday party.

Can only travel in a couple hundred mile spurts every day. Started out in Memphis, TN where I lived on the 29th, then stayed over night outside of St. Louis, MO in terrible motel that didn't allow pets. (I smuggled in a cat.) Then last night stayed over in an Econo Lodge in Ames, IA that does allow hellboy http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4873721/ . I LOVE Econo Lodge!

I keep expecting to hear voices whisper for me to build baseball fields just like they do in that movie, but so far, nothing. I'm kinda disappointed.

Anyway, unless something happens, I should be in Minneapolis by tonight and then in the new apartment in St. Paul the following day. Wish me luck!

You know, I don't like to be happy when someone gets killed, but for someone like Osama bin Laden, you can feel a lot of different emotions about this news.

He was an evil man. Now that Osama bin Laden is dead, I primarily feel a little bit of relief. Just a little bit.

I work for a national call center, taking orders from people for things they see on TV. The call center expects you to recieve orders for 100 different things, so they just throw you a caller and throw you a script and you either sink or swim. You don't get to reherse these scripts ahead of time, mind you. A lot of these scripts are for products and offers I wasn't even aware existed until I was reading the script to the caller.


And some of these things are very random and can knock you for a loop once you realize what you're selling. One moment I'm selling someone a money making book, and then another I'm on the phone with someone reading aloud, "We're glad you're interested in our medicare-covered Pum-U-Vac penis pump. How long have you suffered from erectile dysfunction?"


Arrrgh!


It's the kind of thing that embarrasses me.

Wow. You knew her time here was almost done, but you just never expected to finally hear that she passed on. She was one of the biggest screen legends that will ever be.

Sadly, you know people aren't made like that anymore.

Outside, I was listening to John Cage's 4' 33". It is just GENIUS! However, I have one problem about the score I don't understand: In the second to last bar of the third movement, why was there made a bird to poop on my arm? It made no sense in the context of the silence I was hearing. To me, that risked the work being left with a bitter aftertaste.

There is some other point to the piece that I missed, perhaps?

I was just sitting there the other evening, minding my own business glancing out at the snow that blanketed the woods behind the golden Beck mansion. I had set Beethoven on the Record Playing Machine and settled down next to the fire with a brandy, contemplating my place in the universe; I pondered deeply about my silver yacht and other things of importance. It seemed to me unsettling that the paths which show us such about those things to which we all need from it, within the established boundaries, confined the struggles with which those aforementioned 'things' brought forth from our subconscious, some of those same desires that had so often eluded us from the moment of conception--even while the thoughts from it make forth those same truths in which, while we may one day become fully aware of it, will always hold itself mysterious.</calicatfantasy>

And then!!

I realized to my astonishment, that there was not a group on FA for meezer cats like me. That just blew me away. Folks make groups for everything under the sun on FA--ketchup lovers, bellybutton lint collectors, but nothing for the Siamese. I looked and looked and searched FA and couldn't find one. I knew that we meezers were a class of our own and were practically our own divine species. We're smart and great and the pinnacle of all feline creation.

I entered into a state of intense creativity and produced the Ultimate Group. A group with such potential power, such unadulterated energy, that it makes my tail floof just thinking about it. Meezer power can be dangerous if mishandled and I'm glad I had the presence of mind to save it before it fell into the hands of innocent non-meezers.

Be careful with the  Meezers group, my friends. It can be a wondrous thing--but only if handled with extreme care.
