plus i have actual adopts to finish, and a few personal furaffinity-only art pieces that im interested in working on. and also those ttte oc edits- i have too many ideas all of the time this is why i never get anything done.
technically I've got a personal to-do list that's over 200 items, including but not limited to: adopts, breeding/fusion grids, oc ref sheets, and normal art.

You will know that I said I was gonna write a journal with my thoughts on SOTM, and that I had 11 pages of rambling notes on it.
But it's been a little while, and I've thought about it more, and I'm really not as opinionated as I once was. like, the initial "lhbhbhlbhlhbhl new fnaf game" brainbug is kinda over.
so to that, in this review i shall say, that secret of the mi-mi...
it's perfectly fine. is it a fnaf game made by steelwool? yes. is it also the least-fucked-up game both in terms of plot and gameplay steelwool has ever made? yes.
It ain't much, but it's perfectly acceptable. It is a game with a story and it is both doing game and doing plot. It is indeed a fnaf video game and that's fine.
and i'm not saying SOTM is mid - its not mid its good. But "good", hell "decent" is hard to come by in official fnaf games these days, so "good" is a high bar. And because it's good, there's nothing really to say. and what there is to say, and already been said multiple times.
I mean, I'm not a big lore-junkie, personally I try to avoid lore-videos cus they tend to just make it angry more than anything from either being outright stupid or just not making sense and conflicting with other shite.
I know others think its bad cus its lore is kinda over-writing things that had 'solid' or 'commonly accepted' theories. this i think is also silly. fnaf was not a game series made on solid ground. to have a more coherent plot, to have a real solid true story - it NEED retcons and rewritings of old plot points. fnaf lore right now is a contradictory, loosely tied-together mess, with scraps of old dead ARGs in it. That's not a good series plot, that was scotts shite attempt to make what was expected to be a one-off failure into a booming franchise with a fleshed out world.
new fans should be able to learn the lore from within the immediate franchise material - that is to the say, they should NOT need to leave the games or books to find answers. and for the record cus i mentioned them - the books are also fucked. they ALSO need retcons and help. and i think they should be taken more as a secondary source, not a primary one like the games. they should be used to build on or flesh out what's already there, not make up random fluff like they are currently doing.
I personally don't play the games me-self, I've slowly lost my taste to play games over the years, and prefer to watch other people play them instead.
But I know there are people who think SOTM is bad because it doesn't play like a classic fnaf game, like the first 3. I think this is a ridiculous thing to want, mainly as fnaf has gone full-3d free-roam all the time, and clearly has no plans on going back. I think a more reasonable want is to be playing a hunted security guard again, and being notably more defenceless. I think us playing as Arnold, a FazEnt employee/tech, is a good sign of player-characters of the future.
I think SOTM is a great step in the right direction.

of what i remember of it, one of the jokes included thomas asking if anyone knew of a small green engine, and everyone replying with something to the effect of "it mustve been peter sam". uhh, sir handel had no face, skarloey tells thomas hes going to block thomas on twitter for snitching on luke. if i remember anything else ill add it.

tmmr will the the true last day of school for me
yesterday was the last day of classes, and technically today would be grad day ceremonie stuff. but i didnt go cus idc.
so im done with school now. no more school. its weird.
ALso i pulled a silly goofy. all teahcers have that one thing that makes them weird, right? my chemistry teacher this last semester's weird thing was having us mark outselves for attendace every day, by clicking a checkbox next to our names in a google sheet, and shed screenshare it to the class. and apparently she had chromic issues with it over the years, where some students would have issues trying to mark themselves and she had to do it for them cus the sheet just wouldnt load.
so partly bc i was bored, like organising stuff, and mildly wanted to help, everyday that i actually managed to show up id delete some of the rows or columns from the sheet, as it was left at the default 26x1000, until finally there was only enough that from her screen/screenshare one couldnt tell that any of the sheet was missing- cus she wouldnt scroll around the sheet - theres no need the names are in a stack in the top-left most corner.
and then i told ppl on the last day of class/yesterday, and apprently it actually did ease up loadtimes for some people. so thats nifty.

my cats are also addicted to ice cubes cus i was giving them ice cube while we didnt have the new good fans cus the old bad fans were old and bad and didnt cool the apartment.
i have thoughts on fnaf sotm, but right now they are 11 pages of unorganised ramblings while i watched astralspiff play it and checked up on the wikis trying to figure out whos who and whats what.
Also i am trying to make a dupe drink of Fruitopia's Blueberry Watermelon Wisdom drink aka my favourite fruit drink/cocktail ever.
cus if i can buy like, 4 2L bottles of various fruit juices to make approximately 8L of cocktail juice for less than or at least the same price as a standard 1.75L carton of Fruitopia brand stuff than like thatd be great
right now, its messy and so its not super good right now BUT i wanna document my progress cus funny

we still pray and wait for whenever DA lets us add more community emotes. i want daycare attendant themed dividers n shit.
also ive been updated to the new stash - its bad, but not as awful as i though it would be. much like eclipse, we havent a choice but to just learn to adapt to the new system.
the better option wouldve been to give users a choice or like a switch, like FA where you can go between the old and new site styles. there are limitations to the old style - you cant block tags from uploads directly, you gotta go though your settings to do that but thats not like... crippling levels of limited, y'know? and its not like you *cant* block tags *at all* if you use the old site.
thats the big thing i think. and i highly doubt it wouldve been that hard to add the new features in some way to both the green site and the eclipse site, if Da had such options.
but yeah, thats all from me for now. *wave*

i utterly HATE that the chibified versions of the animatronics seen in FNAF World are called the "adventure" animatronics. ie Adventure Withered Freddy or Adventure Chica. è Δé
i dont know why, but its probably just because it deviates from standard naming conventions so badly. the FNAFW versions would make more sense to be called something like the "World" animatronics. ie World Withered Freddy or World Chica.
i dont know. its just always gotten under my skin and feels yucky to call them "adventures". Q ⋂Q 0/10 naming scheme.

school starts tmmr and basically everything is gonna be mega delayed while i go through the regular start of school year bullshit.
breedings are still open on my DA as usual. i am starting to be not-burnt out but i think i'll get my art-y-ness back maybe once im in school cus it'll be like 'oh yes somehting other than homework' and maybe i'll do it more.
uhh, other stuff... uhhh im making some on-base refs for offical fnaf characters who dont have them. and my ""official"" i moreso mean recolours from offical merch that no one cares about cus i want to eventually use them for breedings. and some other random losers.
i also ended up making a big ol spread sheet of every fnaf character that i found used in breeding grids and tallied their numbers so i could see who was used most/least so i could more knowledgeably make my own breeding grids to hopefully be more unique.

General | Posted a year agosorry about the lack of regular uploads/art. I've been kinda art blocked as of late, and only really been in the mood to do breedings/fusions, which currently I'm only posting to my DA cus i dont have a paypal to accept real money from yet so I can post them to my FA.
and i don't have a paypal or bank account because a bunch of things irl have been figuratively on fire, there's just a lot of paperwork nonsense then has to be figured out for a bunch of different things, my mom's been sickly and she's the only one who's actually any good at dealing with said paperwork, and school's starting up again in about a months time.
so yeah i'm a little out of sorts and art is probably gonna be slow to non-existent for at least a month but I would expect longer than that tbh.

General | Posted a year agoupdate: yeah my ver of windows im on is super scuffed and i cant actually get pen pressure so uh yeah until i get the new laptop part i cant really draw unless i want my drawings to look like they were done on a mouse. and its not like those ppl who actually know how to draw with a mouse i mean getting bored and wiggling your mouse randomly bad mouse drawing.
hi sorry glad no one tried to buy any adopts on da while i was gone lmao my laptop tried dying so im now on a weaker version of windows 10 testing whats broken. doing stuff is hard and i didnt have a laptop for abt a day n a half so if im slow to get back to you thats why. everything is difference are weird and im not a fan and would really like to not have to update to windows 11 just to have my laptop working properly QwQ

General | Posted a year agoyeah k so- ive been having irl troubles as of late and im too stressed and so my regular art has come to a crawl. i'm posting the last of my regular pts-only adopts on my DA early since i cant draw right now and need something to focus on. i might end up posting a few grids early and have them be pts-only as well depending on what happens.
