Let me start mine off with a trouble ticket I recieved from the FA staff.

So I wanted the FA account username  flute As you can see it was made now roughly 20 years ago and has absolutely nothing but a single watcher.

I did Ask Dragoneer over Twitter before he passed and said it was okay, but we didn't follow through. (RIP man...)

I will say that I am certainly peeved to have been declined. I don't have any beef with any of the staff over this silly policy change.

I finally settled on a name for myself but peeps will still refer to me as my username. Even if I made a banner with flashing bold letters.

Anyway. That username 'Flute' is out of my reach now on here.

I have had big plans to combine profiles and stick with one alias for good.

Do I move to my second main:  polygonbird? Or do I settle with the 'FluteBird' account I just claimed?

It could be anything, jealousy, envy, a kid looking for a sona or a roleplayer I don't know man. Whatever it can be considered a great form of flattery. But they were not much flattering to speak with. When they said "I'm not sorry"

So. I've been going through the trouble of sorting out old artwork and drawings, mostly to save drive space.

I had a bad habbit of doing multiple drawings in the same file so the process has been tedious but I dropped 45gb of PSD sketches to about 1.2gb lossless png's. I am still going!

However it is going to be a chore to submit the majority of it, probably about 30% are gallery worthy in my opinion.

I am thinking I might do an art pack. It is only organised by year and there are a few duplicates the majority are not finished or not that good.

I have not finished but I will be eventually.

I have been considering selling the pack. But conflicted that I should release it for free with tips. Would you actually consider donating to it? This would greatly support me.


Lastly, motivation to finish whatever I do, feel free to encourage it tell me how much you like whatever pictures you! This is what motivates me to get it done. :)

Despite those drawings I did were of course adults, my style at the time was rather disproportional as I was still learning to draw. Heads and eyes were just too big and would be misinterpreted by a mod. I am kind of worried with the avali submissions since they are rather short. Even the Charizard pictures. Of course they are all adults.

FA's one strike hard to dispute policy is just too strict and ridiculous. I have a strike on my other profile because I misclicked the maturity rating of my refsheet. Cannot dispute it as an error.
I would not be surprised if they are trying to spit shine this site 'clean it up' because they want to sell it off to a corp or something. (Just my conspiracy theory)

I will make a Zip with the file later one. I did make myself a rule to not delete any old artwork, regardless of how much it makes me cringe these days. x>

After a bit of a hiatus...

I really, really appreciate all the comments and positive response you have all given me from my recent sketch dump.
A lot of these drawings probably won't be finished, but that is okay! Because even if they were just files sitting in my computer just, I should at least have shared what I had done in the last 5 years or so. There are many more due to be posted, and will be uploaded gradually over time. I want to avoid spamming besides, it is more fun to post it slowly~

There are some pictures I will be hoarding just a little bit longer as I do want to finish them eventually. I already have made some effort

I am also thinking I might offer YCH's of some of the drawings, I will make some posts offering them soon I have become a lot more efficient with my art over the years too. Gotta thank me going back to study industrial design teaching a few new methods to drawing improving me a fair bit. Its only rather recent I noticed this.

Lastly, I have moved house to a new state in with my partner  proteusiii mostly working on my own right now, I appreciate any support!

Yes.. I have not submitted anything here for probably a year now.. There are a few reasons for that..

Been in a bit of debacle on galleries.. I am a little tired of having and maintaining 2 here on FA.

I would very much like to just merge it into one. But why haven't I? FA and its broken thumbnail upload. It has been what? 8 or 9 years since it worked?

All I want to do is upload my art one one account with a content warning.. Is that a lot to ask? Give or take I actually got over a thousand drawings and illustrations.. A lot would be scrap sketches compiled, but really, the lack of gallery options is pretty troubling honestly... Can't have nice things I guess.

The other reason is a lot of art is just not finished? I have little time these days and tend to prioritize bigger projects.

In the mean time, I will probably remain dormant for a while until FA will (won't) get its shit together.. I will think of something. Probably a thumbnail submission linking to an external site. I'd love to hear thoughts on that!

Feel free to watch  PolygonBird if you want to see potential new submissions. Though probably nothing as extreme posted on this account. (I have made an effort of watching people there instead of here)

Over all I am pretty happy and I thank you all for the support!

I wasn't expecting that, I am kinda surprised since I have only submitted like 50 pictures? I've neglected my FA a little and would like to fix that. I did make a few goals to submit more.. I guess I failed that. I have over 1500 unfinished works. and a few commissions on the way.

I could keep making up excuses, but over all, how I feel, I guess its the inspiration of the piece. it dies out rather quick and it ends up incomplete. I've gotten a lot better over the years, there is still much for me to learn. I am a fairly slow artist and a rather big perfectionist.

Over all, should I do more sketch compiles? Even if chunks of it is still scribbles?

Another thing, I would love to do more collaborations with people!

I will do my best to post a lot more here.

I am not going to lie, I haven't submitted anything for over a year, I have been rather busy, but I got a lot of new art work coming soon, I might open up for commissions soon since people have been asking.. kinda need the cash because I recently quit my shitty job that ate up all my time for shit pay.

I really want to make an effort to go to Anthrocon it's not a cheap trip for me being in the land down under and all, but I will do my best.

Yeah I have been a little too quiet.. I am not submitting much a all as you may have noticed, but I am still drawing.

I've been pretty busy getting my life back together and I really need to improve on a few things, medically and emotionally. Nothing is stopping me though!

Art wise, I have spent the last few months trying to improve on my artwork. Trying to get the most realism out of it all. I am a little far behind on my 3D work. Even take on a few game projects and learn a little programming while I am at it.

I am not sure I will be submitting much new work this year.. We'll see.

Lastly I think I should mention, I will be going to FurDu which I am looking forward too.

As the title says, I've been debating on doing them again.. I am just so low on time.. But I would like the extra dough. Most of today at college I have been putting a lot of fought in to it. so I might open up a few slot's but there will be a few guidelines..

1. In terms of what I can draw, I will draw anything. I can stomach it. But depending on the content if it's really out of my taste, I will not submit it but you're welcome to.

2. It will take me a while to complete, so please bare with me if it has taken me a month or so to complete. Real life stuff is a first priority before commissions. There is a chance I might not finish it.

3. Commissioners must be over 18. That is the minimum age for registering to PayPal. I cannot trust teenagers for this reason. I could take commissions if they pay upfront.

4. I will not charge until it's done, however I will be picky who gets a commission if they are a trusted artist, I will be double checking.

prices. For how long it takes me, its a very time consuming task.. sketches will have a set price, I'll do them for maybe $30 I will tax for really complex details. flat colouring is free, it varies. Now for anything painted, it will get a little expensive.. for the about the lowest, around $80, price will hike up as it gets more detailed.

And last of all a question. if I uploaded a few pre posed YCH sketches, would you bid? there is a chance you can get a discount on these! if yes I might experiment with something minimal first.

There is already a small queue that have been waiting forever for something! I have not forgotten you and will work on yours first before others.

I have a Wacom Bamboo fun Tablet, it's about 6 years old, haven't used it since 2011 Still works fine. I need to get rid of stuff and this I don't need anymore. Reason I am asking here is because it has some sentimental value to me as it's the thing that helped me to improve on my art to begin with! I'd rather give it to another Fur in need of one.
Will come with all its accessories with pen, mouse, cable and pen holder

It's really the best way for me to force my self in to drawing again! I'd like to draw realistically, but I can do a cartoony realistic if toon is your style. Just keep in mind there might be a chance It may fail, but I'll do my best to avoid it.
