Since my last journal obviously the epidemic hit. A bit before the pandemic my work closed that location. I was able to transition to a competitor company but when covid hit i was quickly laid off. I was unemployed for a while and am currently working at a warehouse.

I've been coming home pretty tired from 10 to 12 hour shifts so it hasn't left much time to do much else, so my artistic endeavors have been few and far between. I've been playing with blender and 3d modeling and have been able to draw a few things. So I'll be posting up the few pictures i have drawn over the next couple of days or so.

I hope my job levels out and I can get more time for myself.

Hello, Been a little busy these past few years. I've been posting very few pieces of art lately. Besides being busy with the day to day job stuff, it actually shut down and for a while i was trying to decide if i wanted to stay till the end or just jump off into a new job right away. I chose to stay but i still was trying to come up with some back up plans. Sadly I didn't get much of a break after being let go from work, i did find a new job pretty right away. So while that's a good thing it didn't let me decompress after working at the old places for like 5 years or so. Now I'm the new guy at work and I'm trying my best to get up to speed and be useful.

Art wise I've doodled some but I haven't posted it all. I feel like I've been just doing quick doodles for quite a while and in comparison to other fantastic artists with their fully colored/painted pieces, it doesn't feel like i have something to offer. To go along with that I've been mulling over my kinks, namely the incest stuff. I still don't know how to feel about it but overall I'll be downplaying that angle. So I'll still be drawing big buff dudes, dilfy/gilfy guys, some bi stuff etc so feel free to stick around.

Finally I'll be at MFF this year. We got some last minute lodging at the double tree, otherwise we ( my bf and I ) were going to skip this year. Honestly it doesn't mean a whole lot since most MFF's I just soak in the vibes and stuff, I'm mostly a wall flower wolf. But I always get so jazzed up seeing all the neat stuff others are doing in the fandom, It's pretty inspiring.

Hey fuzzies!, its been a bit since the last update. Since then I've manage to pay down bills and save some money aside, I've finally been able to afford a Cintiq. So I'm now sporting the 13HD http://www.wacom.com/en-us/products.....iq-13-hd-touch . And while the tools don't make the artist, they help, and I'm quite happy with my purchase. Though the Ipad pro with pencil really gave it a run for its money.

So aside from all that Ive added some links in the Summers Night Exploration description. Just recently two people sent me a message letting me know that story and picture inspired them. It takes the first part of the story from the image but then he puts his spin on it. its a really good read and there's mention of more so i hope he continues it.

Hello there fuzzies, good morning to you all. I do have a question to anyone who might be reading my journals. At what point did you feel justified in spending some big bucks on your hobby/craft?

What brings this up in the first place is, i draw, I've been drawing for the past few years, even with a hiatus in art here and there, at one point a few years hiatus. Basically since high school I've been drawing in one way or another, which is about as long as I've been aware of the fandom. I can justify my computer, its my daily use and i do other stuff on it, my little medium Wacom Graphire tablet I've had for 8 years now at least, wasn't too expensive even back then. I've been coveting the cintiqs for the longest time now, at 799 the 13 hd isn't too bad, maybe for a fancy hobbyist. but the 22in or the 27in i think it is with they're 2000+ price tags, seems out of my league.

At 32 I'm prioritizing different things (about time right?), making up for my past mistakes (credit card debt) and trying to lay out how to financially navigate the next decades of my life for me and my mate.

So for the older crowd, where are your hobbys today? are they still part of your life, big part, small part? Have you sunkin in more time/effort/money into them over the years or less?

Hello fuzzballs, as the subject line says, yes ill be attending MFF this year. so this will be my second con i go to, furry or otherwise. Unlike last year we do have a room reserved so no driving back and forth each day for us this year.

As for what ill be doing, there's a few things on the schedule i wanna attend, some fursuiting/fursuit making tip things and some art thingys. Other than that ill be following around a otter fursuiter (my bf) like a lost puppy. If you see me and wanna say hi, feel free to. Though i am very socially anxious so if i just wave a hello and try and hide please don't take that as an offense, i know it'll be tough for me not to run back up to my room every few minutes for a breather.

So, I've been in the fandom to a extent for about... dunno 13 years i guess. but all that time was always online and mostly on the sidelines. I've transitioned from doing a small site on Furnation back in its previous incarnation and furtopia then making my way here to FA and a few other sites. During all that i've seem to have missed out on the other aspects of the fandom, primarily the friendship RL fun of it all.

Well heres how it went.

Friday: Nothing. Not because there wasnt anything going on at MFF, it was because i was a work. This being the end of the year work is slow and money is gonna be sparse so I jumped at the chance to make a few more bucks.Mean while at the con, my BF otter went with a couple of our friends alkali and basil and had a great day. I can't say i wasn't upset cause i was, I worked the entire summer again with little to no breaks in between, straight 7 days for about 5 months. And before you call someone to report abuse of workers, yes it was voluntary. Rollin in that Overtime baby!

Saturday: WTF is this?
We made our way to the con around 11, went up to a friend of otters and the gangs room to drop their fursuit totes off and change. dude it was totally standing room only in that shit, especially when you got some suiters getting their stuff on.
Well we made our way down stairs to get me registered and then we got split up while they were getting ready for the fursuit parade, being alone and all that panic set in and i went off to find a area that was less filled with people, which i did also on the parade route. Now lemme ask you guys with a con, not sure the size of MFF compared to others, Is the 30 min long parade common? not that its a bad thing just wow so many suiters with awesome ass suits.
Anyway ill skim down saturday, there was anxiety/upset feelings on my part, made up with otter, walked dealers den and artist alley with my ottery man, said hi to donryu, well more like waved hi while otter chatted him up and got a cd and hugs. Signed up for a furoticon beginners tourney, was pleasured (lost) and in true wolf fashion left cause i got what i wanted hehe. Went up to the 10th floor for a room party which included booze, twenty minutes of seeing otter try to open a champagne bottle, dub stepping ghost mantis insect, and apparently molest fest is coming 2015. then went home, sorry no rave.. maybe next year

Sunday:
It was more subdued in the morning, i blame the rave and people sleeping. Hung around for a bit, otter hugging and chatting up people he knows from LAFF. Then we went to go pickup his mom from the airport. Came back checked out the dance compo. damn furries can really shake a tail. Otter suited up and went to play in the fursuit games. then went home.

Conclusion, it was fantastic fun. My shy nature kept me from really getting into it, a lot of panels i couldn't go to due to time clashes. and we are getting a room next year, fuck walking at night in november. but good times.

Hey guys, been still kinda busy.

Since i last posted, my main job was kinda slow so i picked up a extra part time job to fill in the gaps. It worked out for a while, still had time for myself and enough sleep for both jobs. But my primary job has upped itself to 7 days and I'm dropping the part time. Its far to tiresome to try and do both at those hours, and once or twice I've almost kinda sorta feel asleep while driving. So.. Yeah. Gave my two week notice already so i should be having a little extra time now and then between working a full week, 7 days, and going to the gym.

oh and anyone thats into a open dev console thing, check this out, saw it on another website, sounds pretty cool, i like their ideas, might just be what we need. Might not shake the pillars of microsoft, sony and nintendo but might change a few things, who knows. back them up if you can, I've already got mine reserved and keep it on your radar.

All right since last last time. Well i seem to be cursed when it comes to miniature war-gaming models. I picked up my Malifaux, Marcus set and soon after like a few days later, my stint at the Walgreens warehouse as a temp pretty much ended. Since then I've been unemployed till about a month ago. I'm now working at the same place my mate is, a place where they make gift cards and the like. But things are a little bit slow in April so I'm only working about 3 days a week.

Since things are busy I've finally got off my ass and made a appointment for the dentist. Well one tooth pulled with bone graf later.. muzzle is sore and not in the good way. *cries*. It's actually went pretty well. i got something to take care of tomorrow, not sure if its healing the right way but I'm sure it'll be alright.

I haven't been drawing much as you can see but I hope that I'll post a thing or two soonish.. I hope. Oh and if there are some pictures not in my gallery, I might have took them off or simply moved them to the scraps section. As I draw more and more digitally, I seem to keep the files less and less often. I have like the old paper drawings somewhere in storage but I no longer have a need to keep em. I always produce more stuff and usually it's better than the previous.

Hey guys, How are things. as you might have noticed I've been a little busy and haven't posted as much. Ok so most of my time is spent as usual work, hanging out with my tiger and keeping him a happy fellow and satisfied.. (oh murrrr). Also another thing thats been sucking my time and a bit of my money is mini war games. In this case I've bought the black reach starter set a year ago and set aside for like a year due to other priorities (ie not having a job for a little while). So a couple of friends of ours started playing so i primed my shit all up and started painting it. As a total noob as far as the hobby goes im doing pretty well. Im learning still but making great strides. So out of my starter Orks, i got 1/4 painted up, and slowly working on the rest.

Also recently I've been turned onto this awesome game store here in IL, Games Plus. Fuckin awesome that place has a huge amount of inventory, war games of all kinds, books, old shit, new shit, and a pretty decent amount of gaming space too. But besides restraining myself from buying everything and going totally broke, I did pick up some Malifaux figs. I got Marcus and his crew, the starter box. Can't wait to break into those.

December looks like ill be able to find time to work on said figs and still play some wow and work on furry stuff. Ill be working on the stuff i have and not buying something else till after x-mas, one due to not having much cash to go around with gift buying and two, i don't wanna go to crazy on the hobby and burn out super quick by having it be a huge negative impact on my funds.

anyway hope to post some stuff up eventually. hope you guys had a good thanksgiving (in the areas of the world that celebrated said holiday) and a great month.

So, as you can see, i cant keep a journal cause i forget about it. But as of late, here's the low down on my situation.

so i did keep my temp job all the way till now, though a lot of the other temps are being let go, so its just a matter of time till I'm gone too. Well at least its around winter time and i can hibernate like a wolf/bull thing.

oh second thing, I've been playing around with the idea of a bull fitting me as well. but I'm not sure, I do like to moo though. Also it gets my mate a little worked up when i do that soooo... Moo.

Lately i haven't had the desire to draw, so rather than forcing myself and beating my head against my tablet, i just did other stuff. Like more wow. Oh and if you haven't already jumped on the year commitment to wow, i think you should. if it works for you. I mean i was already gonna play wow and i rarely take breaks, i was already gonna buy Diablo three, so that's just the icing on the cake there. and getting into the beta for panda goodness that just sealed the deal for me. oh and there's a horse.. some flying horse thing, what ever. but pandas, do it for the pandas.

April sucks. I'm strapped for cash (and who isn't, I'm mostly just venting) and my car is having difficulties now with either the starter/ alternator or the battery, so that pretty much means more cash going out than coming in. Well and also I got some credit card issues as well. If I can only go back in time and kick myself every time I took out my card on a impulse buy. I'm still paying for it. *sighs*

quick question to the fuzzies that might be following me on FA, do you know of a casual alt/leveling guild , decently populated and maybe mostly furry. most people on my guild suddenly got a life (damn those annoying things) and most of my RL friends, same thing. so being a big alt a holic i wouldnt be opposed to starting a new dude on a new server and maybe joining a furry centric wow guild.

I'm really feeling a little confused at the moment. I was dicking around online and came across a forums posty thing, pawsru.org and saw a link for circles the comic. and apparently they posted the entirety of the issues scanned and all that. which is fine, people will do what they want, I've already purchased my issues and have enjoyed them since they came out. But on this same listing they posted up all my comic pages that I had on my old website, and its not so much of someone posting my shit up. But its posting my old stuff that's kinda making me feel very embarrassed right now. It not only brings back old stuff that looks crappy to me but also reminds me of all the half, quarter finished stuff that ill never get back to and reminds me that I probably will not do any comics due to lack of talent and discipline.

*sighs* well theres a reason why I keep all my old physical sketches in a box all sealed up in storage and the scans all deleted from my computer and why anything I have on my computer is only a year old or less.

alright, lately I've received my income tax so I am using that to repair my car. that way I'll finally have a mode of transportation again. Also as of late my otter mate has gotten a job, so hes back working again and happy. Hopefully this lasts and he gets offered a full time position. Lately I have been drawing a thing or two, as you might have seen, Ive been drawing some TurboDogs, at least the way I see them. I might draw one more at least, a slightly chubbier version of Stinkbert, all nude and sexy like.

Aside from that I'm actually fiddling around with physical paints, everything I have done in the past 4 years or so has been pretty much digital. So Ill give this a shot and if anything good comes out of it Ill be posting it up. Take care till later fuzzies.

I just had a little tiff with my mate, pretty much belittling him for not knowing whats going on with his computer. its fixed now and all is well, as far as the computers concerned. but my mates mad at me, I hurt his feelings, I made him feel dumb and it only shows that I'm the real dumb one.

so since last time ive aquired a little temp job working for a company imaging computers so they can send to their new stores opening up.. cool huh.. its for about a month and a half.. hopefully if they like me maybe theyll take me on full time. pays fine and its not too stressfull.. and its a casual warehouse setting so i dont even have to deal with any bitchy customers at all like i did with best buy. well all in all its money.. alot more than what ive gotten with unemployment and ill give me a chance to catch up in bills and maybe stash some away for those drier times...
