It is time!

Apologies for the disorganization, I really wanted to avoid this but....after thinking about it...a lot I've come to the decision that I won't be doing full commissions this month. It really sucks to do this because as mentioned before the next two months aren't going to be normal months...meaning my full commissions will not be open again until September. Things are really getting out of hand and i need to double down and finish the 15+ commissions I've been too emotionally unstable to work on.

That said this theme week is still up and running! The stream for today will start at the top of the hour. Feel free to come into stream and ask me directly about any questions you might have, or you can visit my commission question channel (my discord link is on the front page) which i check periodically throughout the day. I hope you are all staying safe in these tough times, it seems it's gotta get worse before getting better but I know we can do it.

After trying out my new model I have decided to tweak a few things. My first official month with this model was technically a success, but in order to get everything done I was sacrificing my break week, even with weekends off to rest my hand so it didn't lock up on me the only time I was drawing was for commissions. This starts to eat at my moral and productivity after a while, as much as I love drawing for others and love to see people happy with my work I have no time to draw for myself and I don't want to make my art a chore that I dread.

Thanks for everyone bearing with me, I want to try and make the changes to the system minimal. I will be taking next month off (the month of April) in order to ensure I finish all the commissions I currently have. I might decrease the raffle commissions from two a day to one a day to decrease workload. Full commissions will not change. The themes order will not change, they will just be pushed back and to sustain myself during next month I will be selling adoptables. I know some of my longtime fans have been looking for another chance to snag a dragonflora and so that will be your chance! I also might do some YCH's so be on the lookout for those.

Things are changing! My plans for the future are as follows:

This month my goal was for me to finish ALL the pokebananza pictures from the poke month, and I did!

Next month will be the start of my new schedual, there will be a lot that stays the same but there will be quite a few changes to make it easier for people to commission me.

SADLY this starts with wiping my past full commission list Anyone on my full commissions list that has not been started will sadly have to apply again for a spot. However since I hope to be doing things in a more timely manner, this shouldn't be as hard as it was before.

The schedule will now be static so that people know exactly what I'm doing, every month will be the same.

Week one: Theme streams, veterens of mine know this well. Reduced prices because of the random roles and inconvenience of needing to be present for stream. The theme each month will be different as voted by you guys! and there will be two roles a day.

Week two: This week will be dedicated to finishing anything I didn't get done for my theme week. I may or may not stream depending on how I feel, but its generally a laid back get things done week.

Week three: This Will be full commission week. Full commissions work like regular commissions most are used to. During week two I will open up the form that can take up to 10 submissions (so you better be fast) each of which will be numbered based on the order submitted. I will then be rolling a D10 as many times as it takes to get five unique numbers. Those five will be the commissions I will be working on during this third week, Aka one a day. This way I can open up new slots every month. Additionally the more you enter and lose, the more karma you will obtain to have a better chance of being picked next time. Those who win has their karma reset and they must wait two months before attempting again.

Week four: My break week before the rush of week one starts over again the next month.

Keep in mind that things are subject to change if they don't work out well, i want to strike a good balance between giving you guys what you want as well as keeping me from being overworked. Suggestions are welcome, and I have put a lot of thought into this!
Note: For full commissions you will not be required to be in stream anymore, you submit, i send you the sketch via email and if you like it then you can pay and I'll finish it!

Hey guys, Rakuras here... for likely the last time. Camy and I have had our break up and she won't be able to draw, especially for anyone else, for a while. As such all commissions are on hold until further notice and all streams are cancelled.

It's going to be tough for her and I cannot support her or be by her side as I have been for these past five years so any support and good wishes you can give her are welcome. Financial support, the thing she'll need most right now, can be given via her Patreon linked at the bottom of every journal.

Camy put her words first on her Discord as was expected and necessary and I'll put mine here, you may skip or simply move on and blame the guy (me) being the issue as most always do so I shan't keep anyone past this point. Heck, this journal might not last past this week based on what happens...

But regardless, Camy decided that she wanted to fight for Liliana/Whisper's love no matter the cost and now... I'm that cost. Once I saw what she said I broke it off, we cried, she understood why I made this choice and that she's sorry but I am not to forgive her for this. And... I won't, though so much of me wants to keep her here with me regardless. To hold and cuddle her like normal even if it's not a day in, day out thing or burning love that she craved via how Lili treated her. And... I chose not to fight against this decision she made and am letting her go freely and as gently as I can manage because she deserves that sort of break up because of how good and kind she's been to me all these years.

Mako Kenovo and Liliana Bell will likely demonize me, hate me for being this angry tyrant they refuse to see why I got angry to begin with and will blame me then swoop down in a few weeks to retrieve Camy and give her a house I was unable to provide due to the mess of a career my life has had. I do not enjoy their ire or that they will see this as a victory but in the end it's not for them that I pass whom I considered my wife, the love of my life I so mournfully have to let go, I make this choice for her, for her happiness and the good she seeks to continue to do in the world that I may have been holding her back from in my own fashion.

So with that I... think I've said all I need to. We will go our separate ways and maybe, one day, we'll rekindle what we had when we're both people we can be proud to see in the mirror again, good enough to hold eachother as we do now in desperate understanding these are out last days together, to comfort the other in person... until I move out in early November ahead of her and she gets to organize and plan her life, to move where she wants to and live in the happiness she finds there.

Thank you for these last five years, Camy, Camillia, my Lia and Kitten. I will miss you.

Just a reminder for those not using Camy's public discord for updates (18+ only: https://discord.gg/d87BBd8 ), yesterday was put on hold due to some social stress needing to be taken care of and the theme week is extended through Saturday.

Two themes for two flavors of people-

Candy gore: come get the only gore-like subject Camychan believes she can stomach and do justice at the same time with a cute and gruesome shift to your character, new and old. Just give a candy or coloration to work with and she'll work from there!

Ghosts and Spirits: if the gruesome is not your style maybe the spooky is? Throw on your white sheets, grab your pokeballs filled with Ghost-types and enjoy the spirited thrills of the Halloween season with a supporting theme if you care to dabble in the ethereal...

That should do it, usual start time is between 4-6pm EST based on when she wakes up and is ready to go, 1-2 commission slots chosen by raffle each day unless she gets behind as usual. And, of course, the total slots per day varies on the previous winner's complexity so if they're all Full CGs then it may only be one per day this week so get in early if either of the above interest you!

So, our budget has been tight since around January due to the YCHs not getting done quick enough and we ended up behind almost a full month's income and dipped close to the red. That said we have had no cushion for months and as such we've discussed our options and are making the following changes:

When this goes into effect:
July 1st, 2019

Full Commissions:
Simple Shades +$10 to base prices ($60 Feral, $70 Pony, $80 Anthro after changes)
Full CG: +$20 to base prices ($100 Feral, $110 Pony, $120 Anthro after changes)

Backgrounds:
Simple Shades: Base $5 -> Base $10 plus $5 if complex (like a bedroom/artificial space)
Full CG: Base $10 -> Base $20 plus $10 if complex (like a bedroom/artificial space)

Who this will affect:
All full commissioners who do not get theirs completed in May/June 2019!

Theme Commissions:
Simple Shade: +$10 per tier ($50 Feral, $60 Pony, $70 Anthro after changes)
Full CG: +$20 per tier ($80 Feral, $90 Pony, $100 Anthro after changes)

Biggest reason why:
- Patreon support dwindled over the last few months with only a few key people keeping it above $100/month (thank you so much Artemis the Absol/Linkmasterchief for those few months!)
- She's making less than $800 total a month and we have NO spare money for extra food or even replacement funds should anything ever happen

If you guys have any questions or would like to adjust your commission type for Full Commissioners, please let us know ASAP! I want to be fair and up front about all this because our needs financially are the worst they've been in over 5 years since she first moved in and I'm worried about both our futures at the current rate. I'm not going to ask for people to support us for free over on Patreon, of course, as that's short term charity. But her earning her money is what she preferred and as such these price increases are what we agreed upon was our best solution to make on average $800/month rather than the barely $700/month we were making most of last year.

As always, thank you all for wanting to get art from Camy and any support you all will and have ever given us. It means a lot to her to feel she's independent and makes enough to support both of us in our lives together.

Sorry for the last month or two as it’s been a hard semester on me not only due to horrendous sleeping habits due to summer but also I wrote about 60,000 words for term papers over two months. Kinda didn’t have time to manage her schedule, you know?
2) Outstanding Raffle (Quickie) Commissions cancelled & refunded after Jan 1st

Pretty basic, to begin the new year and the new Raffle Commission system below we’re going to be wrapping up all outstanding ones and rather than put them on the full commission queue like earlier in the year and delaying folks further we’re just going to refund any outstanding that were paid and any that were unpaid will just be cancelled. This means all four pending should be done before month’s end and any that are left over/unfinished from raffles this month will be cancelled/refunded if she doesn’t get them done before then.
3) Raffle Commission Streams now permanent!

Due to overwhelming interest and success each month will have a theme and streams for you guys! With this comes some price changes (more in section 4) and some better structure so those who want a commission from Camy can either try their hand at the gamble of getting one each month or get into the open/closed, 2-4 full commissions a month list as we’ve had for two years now.

To account for the overwhelming interest and for the sake of fairness there will be a 3 month block out from raffle commissions for previous winners. There will be a new short google form to record names and keep basic records so this can be handled and this only starts with January’s raffle winners, no effect on those of this month or previous.

Lastly, previous themes like the utterly popular Slime Rancher will be allowed to be selected as Full Commissions at the discounted, raffle commission costs if you get in the queue. Just make sure she has the background/template all set because if it’s been lost then we can’t offer that specific theme anymore!
4) Patreon and 2018 Commission Price Changes

And the least fun part- prices. As Camy and I will likely be moving by Summer 2018 she’s going to need to be making a certain average income per month for what time she puts in. She’s been doing well since early 2017 income-wise but Patreon has not. With recent changes to fees and the every shrinking overhead we’ve been making, Patreon is not supporting us each month like we need.

Starting February 2018, Camychan’s Patreon is changing to monthly charges and will act as a tip jar, nothing more. She may put things up there for early viewing but at current the incentive to offer that each month and the dwindling income per month it provides just to earn that income from supporters is costing her money and time she could be doing streams for commissions and earn 50-75% more for the time invested. It sucks, yeah, but the exclusive angle didn’t sit well with many people already so we’re just going to make it to where it’s a support and tip jar from you, her fans, until a better method comes up as spamming a Ko.fi or whatnot isn’t long-term nor is Writscrib quite released yet for you guys to offer support there to her freely. No rewards, just our appreciation for everyone who chooses to support us during this tentative time for Patreon.

Next up, commission prices are being standardized. The will be as follows:

I’ll be updating the Price Sheet to reflect these changes later in the month so as not to spook anyone but for now these are what we’re going with. Additional costs will be adjusted a hair but I’m still experimenting to make the figures look good on paper but also easy to understand for people because 25% or 50% extra of X or Y base cost yadda yadda is hard for some people to understand as math is lost to adults these days. Lots more cost breakdowns per page in the future, yo. Also going to be toying with the Ref Sheet balance a little but at current she’s only had one commission for one so we have had no feedback/experience so keep an eye out design-wanting people!

With everything thats happened along with me getting sick this month has been a mess. BUT next month is october, my birthday month, as such I will be doing scattered streams ALL MONTH. There will be two themes, FNAF and werewolf.

These streams will work like the themed streams I’ve done before, it will be a background that will always stay the same and you pay to have your OC in that background with the theme, sort of like a YCH that many people can insert their characters in for a set price.

The pictures will be of my character, fucking your character. In the Fnaf one my character will be an anamotronic and yours will be the night guy. In the werewolf one my character will be a very big werewolf with a very big knot, and yours will be the unfortunate (or fortunate ehehe) soul that encountered her in the woods.

They will be in stream only, for my running price the same as the other themed streams. Those that have been there will understand what I mean. At the beginning of October I will release images to better explain my ideas and all that, I hope you guys enjoy <3

Rakuras reblog (hi FA, too) with related news, too, since looking at her track record I’m changing a few things. They are:

Top 3 instead of Top 5 a month
Spreadsheet updated to reflect 3 full commissions/month
Top 3 is the -minimum- a month, not the max

Those are the full commissions changes she’s doing since she’s looking at the holiday craving for themes and giving her more room as 5 commissions a month has not been working as her goal since July. This does mean that some commissions will be waiting for about a year to get done and we cannot work around that. Those who would like to have their commissions removed please contact us now so we can open the spots for those still interested. Thank you and our apologies for the fickle, hard to come by nature of Camy’s full commissions. Still trying to figure out how to get things working for her as she really likes quickies/theme streams but wants to cater to the full commission audience, too.

Hello all, Rakuras here, her moderator. As many, many people here on FA have been asking about them over the last few days I'd like to give you an update on dragonflora and a basic rundown:

- The last batch (desert-themed) are sold out for the time being and were sold via tumblr with a single (deleted) journal here announcing them
- She plans to make a batch for FA sale but she still needs to design and prepare them. No ETA at this time
- She will not take commissions on them as her full commissions are closed due to being overloaded
- The species is open for any other artists to design or make their own, details on their designs are on her tumblr
- Edit 9/14: yes, they are an "open species" for future reference. Those phrasings mean the same thing.

Look forward to them but there are no hard dates or expectations for the time being so just look for upcoming journals or postings of the next batch when it's completed. Thank you and thanks to everyone who has shown overwhelming interest and demand for these little critters.

Starting in August the monthly schedule will be as follows:

1 week of full commissions
1 week of raffle commissions
1 week of no streams (break week)
1 week of owed (Patreon/project) content

… give or take a few days. A week might be 7 days, might be 5 or less in some cases and each week will be different. Usually one type of commissions will be the first week or so and the last week will almost always be owed content. Announcements of each week’s plans pending (on tumblr), too. Don’t expect theme months to be the same, though! December and/or October may be quickies only!

Hey all, Rakuras and Camy here to announce our plan for Patreon and that visual novel she posted about over the last few days. We’re going to be releasing teasers/previews of the visual novel as it’s worked on over on Patreon (then released to Tumblr as usual here) as our monthly rewards but you guys can also help us decide how to make the game by… voting!

Visual novel votes will be Patreon exclusive from January until April 2017! You will get to vote on 8 Pokemon each month, by category (see link below), so you can choose when you want to become a Patron and when not to be one based on your favorites. Voting will happen from the 1st to the 10th of each voting month with varying rewards and details below.

The game will be released and finalized sometime in May/June depending on how long it takes to wrap up and it will be FREE for all to enjoy.

Each commission during these streams will be $5 off their normal prices as well. Streams go as follows:

- Come to a stream between 12pm and 12am MST (2pm-2am EST, 10am-10pm PST). Times will vary.
- Watch until the current commission is completed for the next selection period
- Enter the random selection raffle for the next slot, just speak up and show interest when she asks
- If selected, discuss your commission with Camy or I and follow the normal commission processes

P.S. Yes, they've been closed since September. Yes, a lot of people have been trying to get commissions around the closure unsuccessfully.
