Raffle?
I'm almost at 300 watchers, and while i don't like to obsess over how many watches I have, i still think it would be neat to hold milestone prizes for the the 100 mark milestones.

WHAT DO

When artists get obsessed with watchers
Posted 9 years agoDoes it bother you guys when an artist gets obsessed with how many watchers they have?
I admit that I get bummed when I don't have as many as other artists.
But at the same time I feel like people put way too much emphasis on the quality of the artist by how many people are following them.
And from what I see there is no formula for watches. Some great artists don't have many. And some (shitty) artists have thousands.
Not just furaffinity too. Other art websites, YouTube included.
Do you think there's some kind of formula for getting a fan base?
I'm thinking consistency is a major thing.

I don't like to post personal things here but I thought maybe this time I could take some "Emergency Commissions"
I am homeless. For over a month now.
I lost my job a couple months ago from my mental illness and I haven't been able to hold down a job since. I couldn't get unemployment because I had job hopped so much due to my mental illness. And I can't get disability because the government doesn't award disability for mental illness alone. (In some cases yes but you to have to file again and again just to get your case heard and it is a several month to year long process) I got evicted and had no funds to go anywhere. I sleep in my car, that I haven't lost yet.
Ive essentially exhausted all my resources. I have had a couple friends offer to help me, but no one can really harbor me for more than 1 or 2 nights at a time, and I really hate burdening people unless I really need food, shower, or don't want to sleep in my car that night. But I am sincerely grateful to my friends nonetheless, without whom I would no longer be here.
That being said. I am attending College of all things. But mostly because IT IS THE ONLY WAY I COULD GET MONEY. Student loans to be exact. And due to a bad 5-year relationship break-up, where he took all the money from my loan he could get, and months backlog payment on my car, I again have no money. I at least have the responsibility of school to keep me busy and sane.
That being said, I am taking art classes and I really feel my skill is up to par and I feel confident in my commission prices.
If you don't have the money to commission me, that's fine. I get it. Hell thanks for reading so far. If you wanted to give me a shout out I would really appreciate it. If you want updates on how i'm doing you can follow my twitter.
