General | Posted 10 years agoAnyone know what to do for a hardware malfunction?
After a bad storm blew the power out, cutting my computer off too, my computer has been acting up. I don't know if the storm is to blame, but it started fucking up after that.
But I get a blue screen saying Hardware malfunction. I used to get it every so often after the storm, but after not using it for more than a week it's been doing it every 20 minutes or so. The most recent being that I didn't even get past the User Login screen for when the screen starts right up.
I'm not the most tech-y guy, so I'm searching for any advice or help. Maybe if there's something I can do without having to replace anything..? Or something of such.
I believe my computer is Windows 7? I also have great Virus protection on it, so that's ruled out.
Any help is much appreciated.

General | Posted 10 years agoSo I finally got around to revamping Novian.
Wasn't really what I had in mind, but I love how he turned out:
Novian V:7.37
I kinda want feedback on his new design. It's a large leap of going from maroon and black, to blues, tan, and seafoam green.
(Old design can be found in my gallery.)
I kinda went off of Sik'is' (image/design in gallery) colours a bit, but I'm worried they may look too similar because of that.. or maybe not. I had originally thought of using natural colours of tan, black, brown, etc., but I'm not quite sure if it fits Novian.
I know it's difficult to ask, but has his new design seemingly enhanced him? Or is it a better fit for him?
(I'm not necessarily looking for paragraphs worth of what is good or not of it, but it is welcome; Simply looking for approval(?) Opinions of if it reallys 'shows' Novian. Maybe even what could be better/changed/added/etc.)

Issues in life just sucks all the energy, motivation, and productivity out of you. Especially when your manager is a dick, your dad doesn't care, and friends are just.. too much.

General | Posted 11 years agoNot really an absence, but there will probably be a delay in my art. That does include art I owe such as Commissions, YCHs, and Trades.
I also may just be silent while on here. I openly say that I might ignore some people on here; just not in the mood for talking. I'll read anything sent, said, noted, etc. to me, but a response shouldn't be expected.
I'm not in the mood for talking about it or explaining the situation, but my dad is currently having medical problems and it caught me and a ton of others off guard.
Been dealing with stress from work and some personal things, and with this situation, I'm not sure what to do.
Just hoping things turn out alright.
I'll work on commissions, YCHs, Trades, and everything else every moment I can just to get them done.

Slow on art?
Probably due to my daily life/schedule. I work all day and go to class so I'm always busy. When at home I'm busy working on commissions and busy on Tumblr. I stay up all night doing homework, projects, studying, commissions, talking to friends, or searching for better/other jobs. I don't eat well and/or sometimes I don't eat at all. Same goes for sleep. So yeah, art may be slow. Sorry.

I apologize for it.
I've gotten "bribes," or reasons, to stay with my current employer, so I'm still working myself to the limit to the point that it takes a mental and physical toll on me.
I also have a lot of work and studying for college.
And due to my horrible and basically non-existent sleep schedule, I don't do well overall.
I work constantly on my art, including commissions, art trades, and whatever else. I don't always post all art I've been commissioned to do, so you may never know what I'm working on, but I am working.
I'm not looking for sympathy, just giving the reasons to those who wonder why it's taking for fucking ever to get art from me.

I haven't quite gotten back into the drawing routine, but I seriously need to get shit done or else I know I'll forget about it.
I also have commissions to do. And if anyone is interested, I have one slot open for a ref sheet. Unless a CS user takes the spot as usual.
For the things uploaded today, I already had partially drawn/done. And gladly, I'm getting my characters' refs done. I plan on selling a few, but those will have a ref made last most likely.

I don't know what to update; I don't really say what's going on in my life.

I hate my face. It looks as though I just got out of a fight what with the scratches, stress lines, and bruises on the back of my jaw.
It even looks like I'm dealing with shit.

Maybe I'll Be Gone
General | Posted 11 years agoSo for now, I will upload only little, if any at all.
Don't know how long "this" will last, but it's for now.
I'll still come on daily to check messages and such, but I'm not in the mood for drawing now.
I know I've got some things I need to draw and get done, but it's difficult when one doesn't have the motivation for drawing. Or anything really.
I apologize for this.
I'm not getting lazy, no, but you can believe whatever you want.
Not sure what to give for an explanation. All I can say is: Shitty mood + Lack of motivation.
Maybe also that I'm generally unwell. I simply don't feel right.
I'm also tired of people. None of you, if you're wondering.
Just people who I can't seem to cheer up. And as much as I try, they end up making me feel more useless and pathetic.
And what do you know, the next day, they're happy as ever while I'm just stuck with affliction.
It's hard enough to just deal with most of it, but it's affecting a lot.
It's just great to know how "appreciated" I am by the ones I help, when I get nothing in return, but the shitty state they were once in.

General | Posted 11 years agoSo, I've finally hit 400+ watchers in what seems such a short time. I'm frankly a bit shocked.

Frankly, I'm in such a shitty mood, but this has brought better thoughts. I'm going to try and give away as much as I'm willing to so I and everyone can be a bit happier... To show my thanks, I suppose.

So, I plan on giving away quite a few things (lucky you). There will be a mix of digital and traditional things so you may get a chance at either.
How this will work:
After entering is closed, I will use a random list generator to randomly organize the list of those entered in the raffle, the first 7 on the radomized list will be the winners. According to the order they come in they will get to choose their desired prize, if it has not been claimed.
For an example:
If the list is:
1Novian
2Appso
3Reckless
...
Novian will get first choice at selecting his prize. If he chooses Prize 1, that prize is no longer available, and Appso will have to choose a different prize and so on. I will personally note the winners one at a time to record their choice of prize. If an answer is not received within 24 hours after I sent a note, that person will be skipped and will receive nothing. Sorry. ~
Because I am allowing more than one entry, if you 'win' twice, it will be counted only once and the person next in line will be the last winner.
Example:
If you get spot 4 and 6, you will advance to 4 and Winner 7 will take spot 6 and Winner 8 will take spot 7.
