Hey, everyone!

I wanted to make a quick journal to express my immense thanks for all the hatchday/birthday wishes I got. It meant so much to me, y'all don't even know ;_; It was super unexpected to get as many people wish me happy birthday, and it really did help brighten my day even more. So, thank you guys again so much!!

WOOOOOOO WE MADE IT ANOTHER YEAR, LADS

So I'm typing this on my phone, so I'm gonna have to try and make this short sweet and to the point otherwise I'll be here all night xux

This year has been one h e l l of a journey.
Start of January I began packing my bags and got ready to move out of my home in California to live with polarlights in Oregon! It already feels like it's been soooo long since all of that happened. It was pretty emotional for both myself and my parents, since it was the first official time I was moving out of the house, but in the end they still supported me through it all. It was an adventure to drive all the way from Southern California to Oregon, and I can tell you all now I get bored as fuck during long car rides, so having Nicole with me helped keep me entertained all the way through!

Through the year I've gotten a job, lost that job, but then got an even BETTER job with more hours and more pay, made a big boy purchase and got a new bed, and a whole slew of other things. I've honestly lost track over a lot that has gone on, it feels like this year dragged on yet passed by in a big blur at the same time. I've done a lot of growing this year, as I've basically needed to ever since moving and completely changing my daily routine. With our current situation, I haven't been able to play online games or do much of anything online since the connection out here isn't exactly optimal. It's a bummer and I miss it, but I know once we move into a new apartment we will have all the internet data we need.

I've learned a lot and I'm still learning new things each and every day! I wanna thank everyone for their support on my page and on my Twitter, each comment favorite and shout have been a massive joy! I wanna apologize if I seem kind of distant or not here at times, like there are long periods where I seem to be gone for like a month or two, again kinda stems from the bad internet connection here. Hopefully that will soon change.

I have a couple resolutions for 2019, but some that I hope to achieve this year are:
-Move to a new apartment
-Launch my Twitch channel
-Lose some weight and gain some muscle! (VERY cliché I know, but always a good goal!)

I do hope everyone has had a memorable year, and that all of you are doing well! If this year was good or bad, let's make sure that 2019 will be even better! The spicier memes the better 👌

So, if you haven't already read my previous journal on my old account , I've decided on a new account/account name. First I'd like to thank and welcome any watchers from my old account and any new watchers I've made! While I continue to get my new account set up, I will also be posting art both old and new to this account. I'll try not to spam people's submission boxes with pictures, but I do have A LOT to post so please bare with me! Below is some more information about my new account, if you wanted to know a little more about what's going on. Other than that, thank you all for reading!

As to the creation of my new account. I've had just a few reasons to wanting to change.
Reasons being include:

- I've been annoyed with myself making and going by such a cancerous username
- I've had the account for well over 5 years
- Felt it was time for a change

With my new dragon sona revamped, I've been incredibly happy and excited about making a new account. My old alias has been with my so long and still holds plenty of memories, both good and bad. Couple of clarifications for my new account:

Are you still going by 'Xero'?
Yes, I am and still will go by the name Xero. I can ALSO, obviously, go by Captain.

What will happen to your old account?
My old account Augmented_Fear will remain as it is, that being inactive and no longer posting any new content.
I was deciding whether or not to just deactivate it, but I will leave it alone as an archive of old commissioned work of my characters.

Will you continue to use your other characters/'sonas?
Although I will not be using them AS OFTEN, I do not intend to just stop using or commissioning my other characters. My wolves Xero and Jared and my other misc. characters Aster and Nova will be posted here as well, but I have always felt my true personal character is a dragon.

What kind of submissions will you be posting?
As previously stated, I will be posting SOME artwork from my old account. I have so many submissions I don't A.) have the time or patience to post all of them and B.) don't want duplicates of the same submissions everywhere on FA. On my old account, I posted a handful of my own traditional art. Being all of that is s e v e r e l y outdated, I won't be posting on this new account. I will try and maybe post my own created artwork onto this account, but as of right now I am focusing solely on art I've commissioned and have been drawn by both my mate and other artists.
