Hey guys I've been in the process of packing & moving for a while now.
As some of you might know already I am buying a house.
Our closing date/ move-in date is the 13th.

So, this week will all be packing & then next week will be painting, refinishing furniture, building storage shelves, & moving!

Despite all that I'll still be working on arts, because that's what I do to relax.
It may be slow, but it will be steady & I will keep posting updates.

NC-17 MLP art for Anailaigh on IB - started, partly colored.

Fox guitar art for AlbertBlack on SoFurry - sketches started

Sona for KaiTheSharkWolf on FA - sketched :) & will be sending him the sketch ASAP for edits.


So, as you can see I have a lot of pieces in progress but am getting them finished in order received more or less :)

Well, survived Halloween - didn't go do anything this time around, just stayed home, hung out with my sexy Bat, carved some pumpkins, roasted some pumpkin seeds...

The closing date on our new house is Nov. 14th if all goes well, so I am hoping that in a month or so I'll be on 5 acres next to a creek & finally, finally in a reasonably decent house that is big enough to let me have an art room!

I know that there are lots of people out there that wouldn't think of buying a house as such a big deal, but it is super important to me.

So, keeping my fingers crossed that by Thanksgiving we'll get to have Harvest Festival in our new home.

Hey everyfur

The weather around here plus some stuff going on in my life (nothing terrible, don't worry)
had given me a stress headache/migraine.

I only got once piece worked on today. http://fav.me/d6ryf9z just getting the first layer of color down and sketched in
for the watercolor.

So for those of you who are waiting for art from me, don't worry I'll be back at it hard core tomorrow!

LOL just kidding nobody panic.

I've been in an apartment for a few years now and decided it was about damn time I got back into a *real* house.

The housing market still sucks around here, so I got suuuuuper lucky and found a great home on 5 acres near a creek - inside city limits!!!!

Yeh, it's kind of near an airport but since the trains by my apartment don't even wake me up I'm sure it'll be fine.

ANYhow, this means lots of room for the housecats and the dachshund to roam, plus I finally get my dairy goats and chickens, and
the huge garden to feed us all.

We may not be moved in by Halloween ( I realllly wanted to throw a big Halloween party....) but we will be there by November so at least
we can have a Thanksgiving party.

Now, just to see who reads my journal, the first person to suggest a theme for the Thanksgiving party gets you your choice of digital or watercolor art
piece, showing the fursona of your choice doing something Halloween or Thanksgiving themed :)

Sorry that I sort of fell off the planet for the last couple days everyone.
I got some kind of stomach thing going around.
Then my friend Sara had a birthday just as I was feeling better,
so of course I went to her party and ate and drank way too much
and ended up getting sick again :( Although it was totally worth it!
We played a ton of Cards Against Humanity.

Feeling much better now. Will be back to art and mischief and RP
within the next 24 hrs! Thanks everyone for being patient with me.

I have always been an artist and all my friends have told me I'm really pretty good, but I never dared to hope I would get paid for art - and now in the last few days I've gotten several commissions and although making a living with art (my eventual goal) is still a long way off, I'm daring to hope now that it is possible.

I've been in some dark emotional and mental places in the past couple years - the woman I was with for over a decade went through a mid-life crisis and insisted on a divorce, for example. I'd had a home on 10 acres and some quarter horses and had to give that up and live in an apartment in the city, which I hate.

But through it all, my art has kept me semi-sane and the people who take the time to comment or like or watch it have been more emotionally supportive and important to me than my blood family. Even if most of you probably never knew it.

So thank you so much for taking a minute to enjoy the art, and to those who have decided to support indie artists, THANK YOU more than I know how to express.
