It's been a good long while since I uploaded anything, so I wanted to give some updates. Here's a quick Q&A:

Q: Are you dead?

A: No, I am not dead. But I have severe writer's block, owing mostly to the fact that it's winter and I hate writing while I'm indoors. I'm also on a bit of a video game kick and that really cuts the writing motivation. D8 I've also been slammed lately with a huge bill from the IRS because I'm a dumbass and didn't do my tax withholding correctly, so I've been picking up extra shifts at work and that's really bummed me out as far as writing goes.



Q: You gonna write anything soon?

A: I hope so. I want to get back to "Starfire" and "Ninth Life" and I'd love to do the Pteryd entry for the "A Galactic Primer" aside to "Transmission Lost", and I'd also like to expand that to go over some other aspects to the universe, like politics, technology, and economics. Build up the backstory of the universe a little bit more to make it richer.



Q: Are you ever going to take writing requests again, or do the ones you already have?

A: Yes to the first, unlikely to the second. The request list I had a few years ago is so old that what ideas I had for them are long gone. Ideally, I'd like to, some time in the near future, scrap that list and open back up for a limited number of requests. Say, two at a time. These would be first-come, first-serve, with the caveat that I need to like the idea to add it to the queue. Sorry if I've disappointed anyone who might have submitted a request that never got written, but on the bright side, you will definitely have the chance to resubmit your request when I open back up.



Q: Are you sure you're not dead?

A: Yes. I am alive. I am a regular hu-man person just like you, who are reading this with your primitive eyeballs which transmit light through your optic nerve to be translated into imagery by your brain. Do not be alarmed.

So, I'm sure at least two of you remember the "interview" I did a week or so ago with my character Aria. This one isn't exactly my character, but  pannonfurr wanted me to do one with his character, M'raava, whom I'm doing a little series with. So without further ado, we'll ask M'raava some questions!

1. What is your name? – "Lieutenant Colonel M'raava Shigeshti."
2. Do you know why you were named that? – "Well, 'M'raava' is a very traditional S'hestir name, and Shigeshti is my family name."
3. Single or taken? – "That's a kinda loaded question...I've been seeing a human named Arpad for quite a while now, and we're actually engaged. But I do have a little something on the side with another S'hestir named Keri. And my fiance doesn't exactly mind me messing about a bit. I am a S'hestir, after all~"
4. Have any abilities or powers? – "I'm a damn good pilot. In my line of work, that counts for a lot."
5. Stop being a Mary Sue! - "Seriously? You try and have your arm nearly blown off and come back to me about life being easy."
6. What's your eye color? – "Blue."
7. How about hair color? – "Blonde. And yes, I do have more fun, thank you very much!"
8. Have you any family members? - "A few. There's my mother and father, and I have a little brother, and three sisters-in-law through him."
9. Oh? How about pets? – "Nah, don't have any pets. No time for them, and anyhow they aren't allowed on base."
10. That's cool, I guess. Now tell me something you don't like. – "I hate being grounded, and I'm not really into being ordered around. Which kinda sucks, being in the military and all. Anal sex, too, which is fun and all, but kinda leaves me sore. Especially when the fella is big." *she whispers* "And he is." *pauses* "Scratch that, anal sex is okay!"
11. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do? – "I love flying, duh. I also like target shooting, when I have the time for it. And sex, especially when he or she is awesome at it! I also like to sing."
12. Have you ever hurt anyone in any way before? – "Uh, I'm a combat pilot? So yeah, I've hurt a few people. But nobody who didn't have it coming. Also, does bondage count as hurting someone, if everyone's having a good time?"
13. Ever… killed anyone before? – "I refer you to my previous answer."
14. What kind of animal are you? – "I'm a S'hestir. Most of us look like one wildcat or another, if you put 'em on two legs."
15. Name your worst habits – "If I'm riding someone real good, I tend to lose track of my claws. Sorry, sweetheart! I promise those cuts will heal...eventually!"
16. Do you look up to anyone at all? – "My parents are role models, in their own ways. But I look up to Arpad more than anyone. Not to sound arrogant, but I think I'm a role model to a lot more people than the other way around."
17. Are you gay, straight, or bisexual? – *snort of laughter* "I don't care what parts you have, so long as you know how to use 'em!"
18. Do you go to school? – "Sort of? I'm an instructor at the academy, so school is part of my job."
19. Ever want to marry and have kids one day? – "I plan to."
20. Do you have fangirls/fanboys? – "Me specifically? No. But S'hestir as a whole? Try the entire human race!"
21. What are you most afraid of? – "Crashing."
22. What do you usually wear? – "I wear my flight suit as often as possible."
23. What's one food that tempts you? – "Anything other than that shit they serve in the mess halls."
24. Am I annoying you? – "Yeah, a little. How many more of these questions are there?"

26. What class are you (low class, middle class, high class)? – "Upper-middle-class, I guess? I dunno."
27. How many friends do you have? – "Good friends, five or six. But I have a lot of trust for those who share my uniform."
28. What are your thoughts on pie? – "Blueberry, apple, and blackberry are amazing, but cheesecake can go straight to hell."
30. Favorite drink? – "Whiskey is delicious, but more than one or two and clothes start coming off."
31. What's your favorite place? – "Open space. Lots of room to maneuver."
32. Are you interested in anyone~? – "If it wasn't for sleep, I'd probably be on Arpad twenty-four hours a day. And I try never to pass up a pretty girl~"
33. That was a stupid question. – "If you say so..."
34. Would you rather swim in a lake or the ocean? – "Both! Not a lot of time or places for swimming on base, so I take advantage of it when I can get it!"
35. What's your type? – "Energetic."
36. Any fetishes?- "I'll try anything once. The better question would be which ones I don't enjoy."
37. Seme or uke? – "I definitely prefer being on top, but with the partners I choose, it's usually a competition~"
38. Camping or indoors? – "Ooooh, tough choice. There's something exhilarating about fucking outside, but when you're indoors you don't get a bunch of grass and other shit stuck in your fur...I can't decide!"

4. Have any abilities or powers? – "Nothing special. I am very strong, of course, but not much more so than any other Ailian. And I have a lot of military training."

Ladies and gentlemen, thank you all for sticking with me through the second season of "Transmission Lost"! I'm very pleased to have gathered such a following for this story series, and I'm gratified that so many people have found enjoyment from the adventures and drama surrounding Jack and Aria.

With this latest chapter uploaded, it brings to a close the second season, but not the story as a whole. The story will continue, after a hiatus while I get caught up on my requests.

With that said, I'd like to hear from you, the readers. You've read the story up until this point, so what sorts of things are you looking for in the future of "Transmission Lost"? Are there details that you'd like expanded upon or topics you'd like to see touched on? Please let me know!

I do have several plans for related projects in the future. I want to do a short series focusing on the Empress and Li'ren, and how they got together, which will also touch on how the war between humanity and the Ailians began. I also have a plan for a series that will be a follow-up to the main series.

Possibly biting off more than I can chew, here...

So, I think I'm in a good place to try it again.

For anyone who is interested, I'm opening up story requests.

A few ground rules to be listed:

1. You may go into as much or as little detail as you like when making your request, but once I start request I must insist on nothing else being added. I don't like the hassle that comes with altering a story once I've already got a hefty start on it. I will send you a PM when I am beginning on your particular story.

2. Stories that I write as requests -will- be posted to my SoFurry and Fur Affinity pages, and this is non-negotiable (I've found I need to specifically say this). I respectfully ask that requesters not repost my stories on SoFurry as it is my main writing site, but you may repost on Fur Affinity or any other art sharing site. In any case, please credit me as the author if you do choose to repost anywhere.

3. This is a list of subjects that I absolutely will not accept as requests: Cub*, Scat/Watersports, Vore of any kind (including soft vore), Rape*, Snuff, Gore. This list is by no means all-inclusive and if I see something I would feel uncomfortable writing about, I will let you know before I commit to your request. *NOTE: When I say "cub", I'm referring to below the age of sixteen. Rape is also acceptable to me -as long as- it is used as a plot device. In other words, I will not write a rape scene, but it can be mentioned as the backstory for a character or event.

4. HAPPY FRIENDLY RULE: If you want to greatly increase the likelihood of me writing your request, I fuggin' LOVE incest. It is literally my favorite topic to write about. <3 I also have a major soft spot for age difference and human/furry.

5. I have absolutely no problem with doing fanfiction (see: 90% of my gallery). However, if I am unfamiliar with your chosen subject, I might have to decline the request just because I won't know what the hell I'm doing. As a side note, the franchises I'm most familiar with are Mass Effect, Pokemon, and Star Wars, so any fanfiction requests involving those topics will be no problem.

6. If any requests I receive are for a sequel to previous stories I've written, I am a-okay with that. However, please please please be more specific than just "write a sequel to <insert title here>". It's a lot more fun when I know specifically what you want~

Whoa, wait, what? I'm actually updating my journal? Weird...

I'm kind of freaked out by this. I haven't done this in a while...What shall I say!?

Uh...Uh...Think of something...um...

I, uh...I like girls and stuff? That doesn't seem like a quality thing...Oh! Oh! I'll say something about Pokemon Black/White. Here goes.

I think it really sucked. I know I'm in the minority here, but I think it sucked tremendous amounts of balls. Mostly I'm ticked off about the graded scale of leveling. Pokemon has always been a grindfest at times but they really overdid it with this one. I wound up spending twice as much time between gyms because your pokemon get less experience points with each successive level. That made me pretty frustrated with the game. So far I'm sticking with Platinum as my favorite game so far, although SoulSilver/HeartGold had the best endgame experience. And that's the other thing about Black/White: the endgame was terrible. I didn't even bother completing it all the way through, and let's not forget that Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald had a pretty shitty endgame as well. Sapphire was my least favorite one until Black/White came out, but I would gladly take it now.

The new Pokemon were okay, but there wasn't enough variety for me. I'm not too fond of the season rotation, either. I think if it changed weekly that might have made it better for me, but considering I can finish a Pokemon game in roughly a month, the monthly swap didn't really come into play. So it's got a bunch of little flaws that combine to make it pretty unplayable for me. Hopefully they get it better the next time. If they went back to the classic experience point setup, I think that would fix it for me, or at least make it bearable. As it stands, I wish I had waited to buy it used.
