Back from my first con!
Posted 11 years agoSo I had tons of fun at TFF, which was my first con. I arrived a bit before 7 last night, so I missed a good deal of it, including most of the dance lesson panels I wanted to go to, but I did make it to the Poi Panel by 
falconpunch, and though I hit myself in various places with tennis balls in long socks, I learned a lot, and hopefully one day I'll be able to show off some glowsticks in real life like I do in Second Life. :3
This morning, I went to
kyell's 10 Tips To Improve Your Writing Panel, which was packed with awesome writing tips. Afterwards I headed to the Dealer's Den and picked up my OoP shirt from 
Keovi's table, met Kyell face to face, and bought his new book, The Mysterious Affair of Giles, along with another novel from the FurPlanet table.
I bought a print from
Arikla at the Artist's Alley, some pins- "Certified Sneaky!" by 
marymouse among them- and a couple of magnets, one of which is from the excellent artistry of 
lauragarabedian, the other from 
danji-isthmus
Afterwards I went to
foxamoore's Charity Concert. After hearing his skill with piano, I can't wait for his new album, Come Find Me, to come out this summer. :D I bought his last two though.
And I wrapped up the con by watching the fursuit dance competition, which was spectacular. It made me want to learn how to dance, and get an awesome suit to do it in. :P
All in all, I had a great time, met lots of new furs, saw Dallas for the first time, and got some new furry-related items. I can't wait for the next one. ^_^

A: my parents <_< I'm still a dependent student, so they pay for everything, and they don't want me driving all the way to dallas (a 4-hour drive I've never even seen) alone, so we're making a family trip out of it
Q: Where will you be most of the time during the day/s?
A: a lot of places
Q: What/where will you be eating?
A: Food, wherever I can find it
Q: Will you be having a room party?
A: Hah. No.
Q: Will you be drinking and/or getting drunk?
A: I doubt it

A: Male
Q: How tall are you?
A: 5'7"-ish? I haven't checked in forever.
Q: If I approach you, will you chat with me?
A: I will, if I'm not busy. I'm also kind of hilariously socially awkward.

A: Say, "Hey, Fox!" and wave at me if I'm kind of far away.
Q: How many furry conventions have you attended?
A: This is my first.
Q: Do you own a fursuit?
A: Nope :(

A: Nope. It takes me several hours just to make something with the quality of a sketch. XD
