So I want to get my feet wet with this furry art streaming thing and it seems like Livestream is the way to go - but I went to livestream and signed up and they want to charge $45/month?! what the frick, is that how much y'all are paying for commission streaming?

Do other streaming services exist that don't charge anything,are reasonably high res but also aren't going to crack down on me if I draw porn?

bitcoins are very interesting. Right now using Bitcoin is about as much of a pain in the ass as installing Linux. When this gets a little easier, i think it'll catch on. FA and other art sites have had problems with payment processors in the past - bitcoin would completely bypass all that bullshit.

Last night I finally watched the Tree of Life, terence malick's movie about the macro and micro scales of the cosmos and life itself. It's a flawed movie, and the last twenty minutes pretty much falls apart, but it's got some breathtaking, amazing sequences in the middle, that I really loved. The whole "birth of the universe through to the dinosaurs" scene was stunning.

And anyone who likes ageplay should definitely watch the middle part which depicts the birth and childhood of the lead character, with some of the best toddlers-eye viewpoint filmmaking I've ever seen - it really put me in a little headspace. Beautifully shot and emotionally compelling.

too bad about the last part, where I was kind of rolling my eyes. But the middle of the movie was good.

Today I did three complete pics and several sketches, my most productive art day ever. I'm obsessed, I can't stop drawing diaper pics.

I love this.

A lot of my fantasies involve things that are beyond the laws of physics, like being shrunk to toddler or action-figure size, or would require huge amounts of money to do (oh, if only I was an eccentric billionaire) but there's some that just require a few people and the right attitude.

One fantasy I have involves being invisible in a room full of padded folks. Take your basic ABDL room party, a bunch of babyfurs or what have you, people in regular or cubby clothes and diapers underneath, waistbands peeking out, etc.

And I'm there too, but here's the thing - nobody's paying any attention to me at all. I'm just crawling around, maybe I'm naked or maybe I'm in a diaper, but anything I say or do is completely ignored by everyone. I'm effectively invisible, and all I would do is stare at all the padding on display. Nobody would react to anything I did, even if I was kneeling with my face six inches away from someone's diaperfront as they wet, and I was masturbating. None of them would see me or react in any way. I wouldn't touch anyone, just look. And probably jerk off a lot.

Oh, and even better if they would casually tug their shorts, PJ bottoms, jeans or what not, exposing little glimpses of waistband, or they'd reach for something on a high shelf.. and if one or another was about to wet they'd casually say so - giving me a chance to scramble over and watch them do it, from close up, with utterly no acknowledgement from them of my presence. Except obviously, they'd kind of know I was around and be indirectly teasing the heck out of me by jacking up my fetish to insane levels. :3

I really like this idea, and I paw to the general idea frequently. It's not really a camp crucible kidnapping scenario, but it's something that could happen at a littles party if everyone was on board.

- As much as I like the IDEA of messing a diaper, and the act itself, the IRL smell of poop is not something I am all that fond of. At all. In my perfect universe, cubs mess all the time and apart from the occasional verbal reference to having stinky pants, they aren't smelly at all. When I do it IRL, which is quite rarely, I get changed pretty quick afterwards and cleaning up afterwards is the least pleasant part of the whole deal.

- It's been about six months since I was last in a wet diaper for reals.

- that story I wrote in the daycare center with cubs just constantly messing and wetting one diaper after another is crazy hot. I have pawed to that story probably a dozen times so far.

- the idea of messing/wetting a clean diaper is much hotter to me right now than the idea of doing so in an already full/soggy diaper.

- My go-to, never-fail mental image when pawing for more than two decades now is a diapered fur about two or three times bigger than me crouching and messing/wetting himself while I reach up to try and touch his padding as it bulges and sags. I've never drawn it to sufficient accuracy to satisfy me.

If I didn't have to earn a steady paycheck I think I'd be a full time comic artist and produce a 22 page comic every couple of months. But cripes, reading comics with great art and story lines, like mouse guard, is just depressing because I'm never going to be that good. I'm in one of those kind of "my drawings suck, I'm wasting my time, why even bother" phases, that I don't talk about much but they do happen.

I do draw every day, even a sketch or two, not everything gets done enough to even qualify as a WIP, but I plug away at it.

I'm forty, and my career has stalled, and my drawing is pretty much as good as it was in 2003-04, and I'm rambling and it's late. Yes perhaps I'm fishing for compliments, I'm allowed to do that once in awhile. :3 Goodnight

I almost never get tired of looking at diapers. The most boring padded rumps/crotches that I've seen a million times are still interesting to me. Even diaper packaging, etc. It's all good.

My TMI question to you is what is your Thing that you don't get tired of? I'm talking a specific visual image or a concept. If you're a macro, maybe it's like a giant paw coming down on a city, or a person. If you're a voraphile, it's specifically what part of the swallowing that you are always hot for? Etc.

I want detail and specificity about your particular interest (even if it's vanilla - the moment when a penis goes into a vagina/butt/muzzle? No problem)

What's your MOMENT, is what I'm saying. Or two or three moments.

For me, it's usually a diaperfront getting soaked with an expanding patch of pee, a diaperback crinkling as it bulges with an emerging load, or, more tame (but not to me) a waistband peeking out of the back of someone's pants. Pajama bottoms being tugged up over a diaper is another major one.

Diapers aside, someone realizing they're shrinking again is hot. And someone gasping in surprise as they spooge accidentally.

People saying "I don't get ____" in relation to a kink generally mean "I don't approve of ____".

Cargo is usually the middle, smaller figure. And is between knee- and waist-height to the larger figures. The domination can be friendly or it can be teasing, generally playful though, authoritative but not negative, humiliating but not abusive. And at the hands of babyfurs or diapered furs more often than not, signaling in the most emphatic possible way that they participate and approve of my turnons. Boners are a good sign too.

This pattern shows up over and over in my art. Cripes do I ever want to be 'parented' like that.

....I don't know! I've been posting for awhile now in the last month or so and checking out my stats for various pics it seems that there's no reliable indicator of content that makes people view, fave or comment on a piece of art.

Myth: FA viewers only want to see dicks and boobs

Fact: My porny pieces tend to have LESS favs than my pics with no peen in them, and a comparable amount of views.

What does seem to happen is that comic-formatted stuff, regardless of content, gets a lot more views, but fewer favs as a percentage. So people are willing to click to get a larger pic of a comic, when they might not on a single pic, just to see it. That's fairly likely user-behaviour.

When an artist posts what they're known for, their pics get more views and favs - that's just because when people watch you, they are probably watching you for the stuff you tend to draw. Radical departures in style or content will probably not get as much traction among existing fans.

but I don't think any of this has anything to do with "furries" as a group, these are just things I would expect of any social network of this type.

Obviously pics that are older by a few days have different view counts, this is a snapshot in time but it is interesting.

Alright, time for me to ask you some more TMI questions:

If you draw, or write porny things, how often do you paw to your own art or writing? Me with writing, a lot. with drawing, not quite as often but usually around the sketch stage - as soon as it crosses a line into a recognizable image I sometimes need to, and then often again towards when the pic is finished. Sometimes I don't get turned on at all, though, especially when I'm focused on a technical/rendering issue and not the content of the pic.

And if I like the pic enough to paw to it I consider it a win :3 But once it's done and posted, I don't often revisit, more inclined to just draw another pic.

Been thinking about the nature of social networking. I maintain profiles on Facebook, FA, Inkbunny, Fetlife, tumblr, Flickr, instagram, and other places, and I have defunct or lightly maintained accounts on Livejournal, LinkedIn, Path, Pinterest, and RUPadded.

Every one of these profiles is slightly different, tailored to the services strengths or weaknesses. On tumblr and 500px and instagram I am artsy and hipster, on LJ and Twitter I am political, here I delve deep into my psychosexual desires, on fetlife I'm more playful and casual, on Facebook I am strictly parent-safe and worksafe, and so on. Each network is a different facet of me, and none if them could totally encapsulates the real me - whatever that is. There is no social network in existence that could encompass all of my friends and family onto one coherent stream, nor should there be.

I've long felt that the personality we present at work or with family or with friends is very different but I always kind of felt that there was one that was the core, the real you - but not really. Its an aggregate of all those selves and masks that adds up to who we really are, they aren't layers but colors.

And that's why I like obvious verbal announcements. There's a neurological reason for it. bigger picture, it's also why I compulsively draw and write porn and share it to a sympathetic audience here and elsewhere on the internet. "Each 1C in my top right corner is a little dopamine hit", as a commenter on  swatcher's journal said.

It's why for all its flaws FA is still the best place to put stuff along these lines - I get similar view counts on Inkbunny, but about 1/4 the faves and even fewer comments, and its comments I like the most. Even a "nice pic" is good to see. IB seems full of silent lurkers. Even working within FA's guidelines it's still a more rewarding source of interaction to post here.

One thing that I am really hot for is people saying stupid obvious things in a kinky context. oddly enough it's HARD for me to do it in real life, each time I feel like I have to overcome tremendous internal resistance to just say things out loud, but I love it and I love to hear others do it. The simpler and more obvious the better, stuff like "I wet my diaper again" or even "I'm wearing diapers" is just... embarrassing, pathetic and hot hot hot. You see it show up all the time in my art and stories.

It hits some kind of brain circuit that reinforces what is going on and makes it more exciting and arousing to me. Anyone else notice that too?

One of the absolute greats and a personal hero. Gay, enormously inspirational, didn't give a fuck what anyone thought, a true original and a man who understood the emotional core of what we do here. I'd give my right arm to draw and write with 1/1000 of the heart and vision of that man.

I own a copy of the movie adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are, on Blu-Ray, and it's still in the shrinkwrap because the one time I watched it in the theatre was such an emotional powerhouse that I don't think I can do it again. Sendak loved the movie.

Sendak is up there with Dr Seuss and Mister Rogers as an iconic figure of childhood and the world is a darker place for the loss of them.
