Alright so I just got back from seeing SAW 3D.
I must say I'm a little disappointed with the way they chose to "end" the series. Not because of the gore or anything like that but more with the story and plot. I can understand that Hoffman would be going a little off the handle after what happened in the end of SAW VI. I can also understand him disregarding JigSaw's rules in order to get revenge on Jill. However what I don't understand is why they changed him SO much from what I've seen in the past movies. Some of the flashbacks just made him seem like a horrible monster of a man. This was probably the thing that botherd me most about the film. He was nothing BUT a villain, that was it. I'm sure if your not really a Hoffman fan though this won't really bother you that much. I also must mention that, as I had been told, they barely focused on the Jill/Hoffman faceoff which is what I was most excited for.
The next thing that bothered me was that they really didn't do anything to push the story forward. Towards the end some things concerning what happened to Dr. Gordon were brought to light but most of the movie just centers around characters that I honestly had no feelings for. I literally didn't care about what happened to them.

While I didn't hate EVERYTHING about the movie the things I was looking forward to the most seemed to fall short. I guess in a lot of ways I just hate that they're, supposedly, ending it all with a movie like this one. I guess there is always a chance that they'll make another one and if they do I can only hope they put more time and effort into the plot and characters.

Hate that I have to wait even a couple more days. ; 3; I'm super excited but also a bit nervous as to how things play out with my favorite character, Hoffman. I just hope they keep some plot in it and it's not just about the blood and gore. ~

Could either be really terrible and take away the feeling you got while playing the first two or be a welcome and fresh take on Bioshock as a series. I can't decide. >8T

I have some stuff going on at home lately so I may not be uploading art all that much. I'm still going to be on YIM so it's not like I won't be around or I won't be drawing. I'm just trying to find the time to actually draw decent stuff.Infact I have art that needs uploading so I might go ahead and upload the sketches to my scraps if I find the time to today. Life just isn't wanting to be kind to me right now. >8T Hopefully things will start looking up soon and karma will be good to me.~

Looks like it could be pretty damn good,well at least it does to me. I just finished watching the teaser trailer for it and it got me every interested and exicted. I'm not too in love with the whole 'SAW 3D' title instead of 'SAW VII' but I'll get over it. 8C From what I've seen in the teaser there will be live traps and deaths which could be pretty cool if done right. I really look forward to seeing Hoffman though and especially can't wait to see what happens between him and Jill. From what the teaser tells you they're wanting this to be the finale.That being said I'm sure they'll find a way around whatever happens and try to make an 8th. We shall see,right!? Anywho,anyone who's a SAW fan in the slightest should have a quick look at it.

This is kinda a pointless journal to say the least buuuut,I'll be posting up an art piece I've been doodling up while I've been sicker than a dog.

Also I went to Blockbuster (even though I don't feel like doing anything) just to rent '2001 Maniacs:Field of screams' and guess what...THEY DIDN'T FREAKING HAVE IT. My Blockbuster never has any of the low budget horror films I like. 8C Hell,they don't even have the first '2001 Maniacs' or any of the other Hellraisers besides the first. [/End small rant]

I've been getting sick and feeling all around blah. I have been drawing just not getting things done liek I would like to. 8C Not to mention I have a new game that I've been playing the holy hell out of.

Also I maaaaay start taking small requests and or commissions soon. I think I would be better off doing small requests at first just to get the hang of drawing faster and more often. I'll post a journal ASAP with further details once I know what I want to do. C: That is all~

I was thinking of doing those for myself seeing as I'm a rider and lover of horses as well as a lover of reptiles. c: I think they would be a fun sonas to have. Besides I already have a bunch of other sonas/characters so on so forth. They're just too much fun to make. 8C I like the idea of both so I think I shall get on them once I finish some other stuff I'm working on.

So I'm back from NYC and I'll say that it was a blast. Spent a lot of time with my dad and met some very awesome people.One of the many highlights for me though was seeing a rat late one night on street. c: I do understand the difference between a wild and domestic rat and if I was to try to cuddle said street rat that I would of had my face ripped off,but it was still cute. 8C

Those eight days kicked my ass and then we spent all of yesterday stuck in JFK due to delayes.I should probably spend a little more time on this journal but I don't think I'll bother because I am very very tired.

Yup,I'll be leaving for NYC on monday and I'll be back on the 12th hopefully with interesting strories and art to share. Trying to post up as much art as I possibly can before I go. I want to try and finish up my gift art before then as well but I may not be able to post it up even if I do until I get back. Honestly things have rather sucky for me lately so most of the personal art I've done is vent art anyways. :c

I'll be uploading that new ref of my Opossum who I have started to call Nine. Nine is one of favorite numbers so renaming my opossum self Twizzy Nine seemed like a good to move to me. Nothing much has changed exept the fact that I'm trying to make my opossum faces longer like a real opossum. >8C His muzzle was a bit too short looking at it now. Also I've toyed with the idea of giving him a pouch made of fabric that he's sewn on so he put stoof in it. Not sure if this sounds like a good idea or not. Thoughts people? Yup,I'll be leaving for New York July 5th and return home on the 11th. My dad has been hounding me to go and I figure I might as well just do it. My sister will be going with me so I'll at least have someone else to chat with besides my dad and his wife,which is a very very good thing. I'll be taking my sketch books and such along with me. Maybe NYC will inspire me to draw something nice. :> I want to try and bring my guitar with me as well because I figure I'll have it by that time. Just have to figure out if it's possible for me to bring it or not.

Well that's about it. Just wanted to post a little update.~

Finally got my amp yesterday and It's a 15 watt Peavey. Nothing huge or anything since I'll be taking my guitar with me as many places as I can and hauling a huge amp around to practice with makes no sense for me right now. It has great features and awesome sound too so I'm quite pleased with it.

Now all I need to do is finish paying off the actual guitar and I'm good to go from there. The excitement is mounting. :>

Okkkaaaay so I feel the need to put this out there just so I can get some of it off my chest. Okay so my 15 sister has been dating this boy on the internet and to be honest the kids a total jerk. He's called her stupid among other things and made her cry more times than I care to count.Yet amazingly this kid is her be all end all the one she's going to marry,yeah. So he came into town the other day with his mom for some church thing. Well they were only suppose to see each other yesterday then he was leaving. Turns out he gets to stay anotehr day (today). Well I'm suppose to go have a special family dinner and go out to celebrate my graduation and I had put it off for my sister before all this because she flet sick and didn't feel like going. Well she was suppose to go do her thing with this kid and my mom then come back so we could go to dinner,compromise right? Everyones happy? NOPE. She decides to stay over with him even after we compromised with this whole thing earlier because I didn't want to go with out her. Even if this is stupid,corny,or a pussy thing to say,I really got my feelings hurt. I know she cares about this kid and all but he's not been the nicest guy to her and I've spent many a night up trying to comfort her while she crys about something he said to her. I don't know....Maybe I'm blowing this way out of proportion but it hurts a lot. This is important to me. To make matters worse he's one of those kids that's more than happy about live feeding rats to snakes under the argument that,"It's natural". *sighs and shakes head*

I'm sick of'em.
Some turn out okay but most are just as shitty as you pretty much know they're going to be. I read on BD that they want to do a remake of 'Martyrs' and would like to cast Kirsten Stewart for the lead. First off,why remake this movie at all? For an American audience? Fuck that noise. >8C I'm starting to look at that as a way of saying,"Hey we've run out of ideas,let's just remake another movie that doesn't even need remaking!" Some remakes,like I said,turn out okay and rarely,very rarely,better than the original. But honestly,the point is it would be nice to see some semi-original ideas. 8C

On another note a movie called 'I didn't come here to die!' is coming out some time this year and it looks rather promising. Promising if your into the cheesy horror stuff and not just the big budget movies like I am. It has that washed out look that a lot of the old 70's movies had which makes for some great atmosphere. I may post a link to the trailer later with a warning for of course. :>

Yeah,sorta. More like I'm a bit discouraged at the moment with my work. It feels like all the ideas I come up with aren't good enough or something. I have plenty of ideas but with my pencil hits the paper I just end up going,"Well that doesn't look right." I'm looking up photos for anatomy help.Mainly with rats which are for whatever reason hard to find. I may not be looking in the right places though. Not much else to say other than,my art to me at the moment is very blah and plain.

I think I've decided to call my werewolf character Eli Gallows. Eli is my real name so I say why not? >8C Gallows would be an awesome last name to have. D8

As for my monster formally known as Twizzy,he will now go by Heist von Hex. I have no idea why I addd the Von or hex part but I think I just may keep it. >8C I'll have his new ref up asap (hopefully) along with some sketches and maybe even a ref for my werewolf.
