Hubby and I are celebrating ten years of marriage later in the month!

We are also shit broke, hubby from covering anniversary expenses and all the big household bills, and me from being honestly just shit with money on top of my own bills. My credit card is about $200 away from its limit and my next couple of paychecks are going entirely to paying it off, leaving me with less than nothing to contribute to our anniversary or pretty much anything for a couple of months.

Mostly of Endless Nonsense characters of course, but also a couple of pix for hubby, of his characters from the RP we've had going on since forever, maybe a few of my characters from said RP, particularly my human Dora who is composed entirely of tits and hips hahaha - sooo far from my own ideal body type but absolutely necessary for her lol

My credit card debt has recently jumped to over $10,000. That's almost as much as I earn in a year. I dump almost my entire paycheck into it every time I get paid, but I'm still constantly going up. A big portion of this is that I'm a compulsive shopper, and a big part of that is that I go out to eat too often. I know this is primarily my fault. But lately I've been having troubles and issues that have cost more than just a meal... my car needed fixing, I had to pay a citation from the city police, and so on. The compulsive shopping I've got mostly under control, and the compulsive eating out is something I'm working on, but the debt is just looming over everything I do.

I need help. I can't ask my family for various reasons, including one set of parents not having enough to help and another set of parents already helping with major household bills (including the mortgage). I can't post on Facebook or Twitter because I have almost my entire family friended on FB and my stepdad follows me on Twitter. I have a post about it on tumblr, but it's not getting any attention.

Scarlet has enough different bird-type Pokemon that I was able to put together a full Flying-type team, and I am loving it! (except maybe the weakness to Electric and Ice lol)

But yeah, as the title of the journal implies, I'm looking for artists to draw members of my team for me. One artist per Pokemon, as I'm depending on their kindness to draw for me at all (THAT INCLUDES YOU MERLIN, ONLY ONE - ALSO ONLY IF YOU FEEL LIKE IT AND IF YOU DON'T THAT'S COOL, I DON'T WANNA PRESSURE YOU)

Mine was pretty quiet. We went to my mother-in-law's house for Christmas eve lunch, it was delicious (ham and potatoes and stuffing and... something lol). We opened all our presents because we are grown adults who are allowed to decide when it's time for presents. I got some long sleeved shirts and a VERY SOFT AND COZY long sleeved turtleneck. There was lots of chocolate, which I'm trying not to binge because low-sugar diet. We got various $50 giftcards from my parents, and a $100 one to split. One was for Walmart, which I spent most of, and another was for Olive Garden which we have yet to spend, haven't had the opportunity. I owe hubby a nice dinner, so I wanna use that and my half of the $100 card to treat him so it doesn't actually come out of my pockets.

Christmas is only a few days away and so far I've only completed one-third of a single drawing out of everything I wanted to gift to various artists this year. I know there's no shame in missing a deadline on a completely voluntary project (like how my comic for tapewolf is approximately twelve years overdue lol kill me) but I just... idk, I've just got this lack of motivation that intrudes on things I want to do or even need to do. Bluh.

So I'm going pretty slow on Kelly, I'm-a try to get her done before October ends, but I make no promises. I just can't get myself to focus on the lines for more than a couple minutes at a time. Once the lines are done, tho, I should have no issue coloring... since I rarely do more than flat colors anyway XD

I also have a couple unrelated ideas floating around in my head for Pokemon fakemon. Ice-type bears named Decembrr and Decembear :B Yeah I know there's already a bunch of bears and even already ice-type bears but it popped into my head and must be done. Decembrr is a cub that steals clothing and hats, and Decembear is uhhh just an evolved Decembrr lol. I want to make them dual-type but can't decide what I want the second type to be.

Looking for suggestions from Endless Nonsense, Project Future et al, or DMFA, as well as OCs by merlin-the-bruce, fluffytailarts, or puyon. Pokemon or My Little Pony requests also acceptable, but they will be low priority.

I don't expect to draw every day, much less produce a finished picture every day, but I want to try. I may try to harass hubby into at least doing a few scribbles, too.

Most of what I do draw is likely to be either gift art, or Endless Nonsense characters who haven't had their moment yet.

Hubby is taking care of his mother's dogs for the weekend, so he's going to be at her house for a couple days. I may or may not join him this evening, depending on how I feel about driving. I should be done with Symptoms by then, but we'll see.

Thinking about which of my EN Cubi I'm willing to give away, to reduce my roster to a "manageable" size. I've already posted about giving 'em away before, but I'm considering expanding the list. I'm still going to draw all of 'em, at some point, so that's not going away, I'm just in the mind of letting somebody else provide them with their "souls" so to speak.

There's also the matter of "when" these characters are available, since EN does have a bit of a given timeline for things like ascension, extinction (mass conversion from Leaderless to Leader'd clans), and so on.

Hubby has a job! Or at least a trial. So he'll be making money again soon.

Problem is, he won't be pulling in very much, due to the actual type of job he's getting. So we are still going to be tight on bills. I'm getting a small raise next month, but it's not very much, and even though I have a higher rate of pay than hubby, I don't work full time, so I'm not pulling in full-time money (to be clear, my store isn't promoting anyone to full-time, so I haven't failed at anything, the option just isn't there).

My husband lost his job recently. He was in an "accident" while driving a company vehicle, and the other driver decided to turn a tiny bump into a massive lawsuit.

I have a steady but low-paying job, so while I can continue to pay my own bills along with the electric and internet, hubby was the one paying the mortgage and larger bills. He has enough put aside to pay for a few more months, and is actively seeking a new job (multiple applications a day and has already gotten a few calls back!)

But I want to help pay the real bills, too, and my credit card is basically sitting in the Fuck You zone. My income can barely keep up with my bills, and I have recent medical bills on top of that.
