Hey all! No, I'm not deleting this account, and no, I'm not giving up my career as an artist and fursuit maker. However, my time on deviantART and FurAffinity has come to a close. It's been a wild ride, I started here back when I was just 11 years old. A lot has happened throughout my life, I have grown so much and I have excelled further than I ever thought I would, and continue to strive to improve and be better.

Once I was just a fellow artist like all of you, taking commissions for a measly 30 points (30 cents), but life has been so much more than this now. I continue to grow and build my art and fursuit making business away from the past and into the future. DeviantART is a past that I will always cherish. All the great memories and the bad ones, and all the friends I've made throughout the years (and even some I've got the chance to meet!). I appreciate every experience I've had, and it's always going to hold a place in my heart. You all helped me grow to who I am today, and I can not thank you enough.

FurAffinity, I joined mid high school, introduced to a broader world of the furry fandom and continuing to grow as an artist and gain a lot more traction. It helped me so much with getting a business finally started up and exploring conventions, meeting new people, and all sorts of amazing wonderful experiences. So, to FA, thank you. Thank you for helping me grow so much.

Hello everyone! It's been awhile, hasn't it?

A lot has happened in the time that I've last made any sort of blog post to either of my art social media sites. So let's get crackin', shall we?

Firstly, we will talk about business stuff, and then we will get into the personal life stuff.

Commissions have been closed and are still currently staying closed. I may open 5 more slots on my Twitter (https://twitter.com/cassmutt for those who didn't know, I'm most active on this social media platform), but my prices will be raising as of November 1st and I will be temporarily removing a lot of commission options.

My laptop has currently been going through a ton of technical difficulties. Because of this, I have moved over to doing all of my digital work on my iPad Pro. With this, it means I'm limited on what I can create until my laptop is back in working condition. I cannot work on Telegram Stickers or Reference Sheets because of this, and will have to put all of that on hold until I can find a way to solve this issue.

Arizona Fur Con 2018 is coming up in TWO DAYS!! I will be having a booth there, and I'll be selling traditional work as well as merchandise and accessories! I'll have tons of freebies to offer as well as raffles, too! Please stop by, it'll mean the world to me if you did~

Speaking of AZFC 2018... Did you know that I'm a GUEST OF HONOR? Yes, that's right, I am one of the Guests for this convention! Which makes me kinda special now I suppose? I really don't know what to say or how to react with this role in mind, but I can tell you all without a doubt that I am so excited for what I have in store for all of you at this convention!

And speaking of other cons as well... Did you know that I'm an ART PRODUCTION MANAGER for another convention? Yes, I am a manager for a brand spankin' new con called Painted Desert Fur Con which will be having its first convention this early February of 2019! I've already supplied artwork for the convention and I'm so excited to see how it's going to turn out, as well as being excited for the future of this con. It's an honor to work alongside such an amazing group of staff, and I can't wait for you guys to see what we have in store for all of you!

I think business stuff is out of the way, now we can get into the personal stuff.

Last time I posted (besides Commissions closing), I talked about being in a fursuit dance competition for Arizona Fur Con 2017. Since then, I have been in a dance competition for Further Confusion 2018 (which can be found below) as well as Itty Bitty Fur Con 2018 (which I placed 2nd for, there is no public videos of that dance unfortunately).

A lot has happened in my personal life that I can't really get into details about, but it's been a roller coaster, I'll tell you that. But something even better happened in the midst of it all. Something I never really imagined would happen anytime soon, but life works in mysterious ways.

I'm dating a fish.

Okay, not an actual fish. I have a boyfriend now and his fursona happens to be an absolutely adorable Short-Finned Mako Shark. He's not really active on FA (like me), but we get pretty gross on our Twitter accounts so if you're following me on there, you can see how goo-goo eyes I am for him. He's treated me better than any partner ever has, and I'm so happy to have him in my life. He's been incredibly supportive through everything I've gone through and I am just so thrilled he's with me every step of the way into my future path to success!

As for Arizona Fur Con 2018, yes I will be in the dance competition. I will also be running THREE PANELS and will be featured at a lot of the con events! So below, I'll list some things that I will be at that you should totally come see me at:

I am so honored I got to perform in the Arizona Fur Con Dance Competition again, and this time with my refurbished sparkle suit and a brand new song by the fabulous Omnom Nomnom to kick it out of the water. Even more awesome, they chose me for a Judge Choice Award :D I've never won any sort of dance anything in my life, and I'm so super stoked that I got to win an award even if it meant I didn't place in the official ranking X3
